So, last night my wife finally decided to see what this thread was all about. She takes a look and say 1207 pages? I can't read all 1207 pages. So I told her she still has three weeks :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Oh, poor thing, just tell her to read the pages from today, that'll give her plenty to read!! My DH doesn't even try to come here any more. He figures that I'll let him know anything important.

To expand on this very useful tip, if you are bringing nicer clothes especially shirts that would normally need ironing, you can wrap the clothes in the plastic that shirts come back from the dry cleaners in around the shirts where the shirts are neatly folded with the arms gonig longways across the suitcase (the shirt will need to be folded once in half). Most times the clothes do not need ironing because the plastic will protect them. If you use two plastic liners where one is on top and the other is on bottom this trick works better. My mom showed me and her friend who travels on business a lot showed her. I'll ask her exactly how to describe this as what I wrote may sound confusing. I usually put the nicer clothes right on top in the tightly packed rolling suitcase and have not found it disturbed by the searchers. If not packed tightly on top, on the bottom in between some heavier clothes (jeans/dockers, shorts, t-shirts) works well also. The hanging suit bags work even better but not all rolling suitcases have them.

This helps me as I don't iron unless it is absolutely necessary.
Or, just send out your clothes to be pressed once onboard.

Cheryl I hope you feel okay during vacation. I would schedule the surgery right when you get back. Take care!

Hey just posting to keep everyone informed on Cheryl as she didn't feel that she could explain it well enough. Anyway we just got back from the surgery consult, and this time through we had the CT Scan results (all 5 lbs of them since it was an upper and a lower). The doctor looked them over then we sat and had a conversation.

He felt that Cheryl could go as much as 6 more months before surgery and not be at any more risk than she's been in the past few years, but that he wouldn't wait that long. He also felt that surgery was not something that was a must before we went away. Basically he feels that her gall bladder has been in this shape for around 5-6 years, and that it's time to get it out, but that the need is not immediate or an emergency.

He felt that the adjustment period of not having a gall bladder anymore would be much more of an impact on our trip than that of waiting, maintaining it, and getting the surgery after vacation.

Thank you all for your concern for her and your thoughts for her. I guess this means that I can't put off my getting my wisdom teeth out next week.

Thoughts and prayers for Cheryl! Thanks for keeping us posted

Hi everybody I was just wandering where everyone is staying before/after the cruise? My family and I will be at vwl before and bwv after.

That's good news but I hope she is not in too much pain up to the operation. Wisdom teeth wasn't that bad for me but I only had 2 out and they didn't knock me out. I went after lunch one day and was back at work the next day. I'd give more details but don't want to frighten Todd.

Welcome MLC. We're staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott the night before the cruise and then BCV after (did I remember to tell you all my waitlist came through?. It happened while I was out of town).

I say forget catching up --- jump in, feet first. The water is fine.

I won't say that when we are on the cruise, though. I don't want Curt to have to put me in that lifeboat again. :rotfl2:

Cheryl - I'm glad you finally got a diagnosis and plan!!!

Chris - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

And for those of us who are packing and space challenged, there is always sending it on once on board to be pressed. :teeth: Well worth the money.

And, don't forget Downy Wrinkle Releaser. :)

I was thinking about this last night in my sickened state, and was far too weak to get up and post. :lmao: I'm feeling much better today. Just a sore throat now, I can deal with that. I even made it to the gym and to the animal shelter with the girls for a moms club field trip. Luckily, my marriage is safe for now because Bruce warned me if I brought home another pet, that pet would replace me in the house. :lmao: There was a 2 month old mitten pawed kitten though that was just entirely too cute to spend another night in the shelter.....:scratchin maybe I need to start looking for an apartment. :worried:

Anyway---I was thinking ladies---sorry boys, not to specifically exclude you, but I am ;) Do we want to have a little bachelorette celebration for our friend Julie's last single days? Nothing spectacular, nothing long lasting, just a few minutes, just a drink, or two, or however many to celebrate maybe after the show one night? Maybe we can get Captain Henry to do a little dance for us? :lmao:

Forget about Capt. Henry...why dont you sneak that Fed-ex driver in your suitcase!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:...But count me in...I would love to have a drink to help Julie celebrate her upcoming marriage

:cheer2: Congrats on post 100, Chris!!!:cheer2:
