It appears that we have quite a WONDERful drunken group gathering on the beach! Myself, Cindy, Stacy, Julie, Ann Marie, Diana, and even Jeff dropping in to imbibe!

LOL I can already see it now "Attn lifeguards (the offiical ones people not me) we have reason to believe there will be 7 women and 1 man with a large group of other cruisers taking over sections of the beach and drinking trays of Konk Koolers - do not, I repeat do not approach them without a specialty drink!"

Julie, I'm not sure of the kids ages coming to your wedding, but I do have a "keep busy" trick. At places like Michaels, Wal-Mart, JoAnnes -- they have these tubs of stickers. I've found that kids love to create pages and pages and pages of these stickers and it's very easy busy work.

I do have to forewarn you if you go with an idea like this, do not empty them out of the tub or you will never get all of them back in. I have no idea how they stuff so many into a small space, but it's really a challenge to try and pack them back up. I usually end up with a big ziploc bag of the extras.

Can they stick these stickers on the BRIDE???? :faint:

LOL thanks Cindy - I may get some of those!

Ok, I have to share this on this thread too, because you guys are all the voices of reason.....is this odd to you? Or am I just too practical????

Ok, I thought I saw bizarre gift registries for the last wedding we went to, but this one is just odd.

My nephew (26yrs old) is getting married in December (we'll be at WDW.)
They registered at Sears and Target.
Their Sears registry includes towels, bathroom stuff and a bunch of stuff from the automotive department (motorcycle/ATV jack, tools, foam mats for the floor, etc) Their Target registry includes some household stuff AND candy corn (about 12 bags in different flavors,) board games, a box of Pamprin, and an ant farm. :confused3 :confused3:confused3

I told Mike I might just get them 10 bags of candy corn and call it done!!

The only real strange item is a box of Pamprin! You would think they would want a case!

:surfweb: Good Morning DisSers

31d 9h 9m 0s ota till we be cruising...

Karen and I had an opportunity to sneak down for a weekend trip so we'll be airborn in just over 12 hours. Then we have to come back till October - .

Since Karen and I will be out of town this weekend and I see there are at least TWO even numbered days in that time frame - rest assured. I'm taking the laptop and will be updating the pic on Friday and Sunday. To compensate for the black hole that was the last clue, I will tell you this....

The next panel to come off is

Have Fun!

But somehow I suspect that this clue will leave us clueless!

Your nephew got a hold of the scanner while his bride to be was not looking and I wonder if she didn't check it. LOL this has happened to friend of mine who had no idea why they were receiving TOILET PAPER - seems he scanned it and everyone bought it! :rotfl:

My son had popcorn on his reginstry. He and his bride were delighted when they got it. They also had tools on their registry. They had just bought a townhouse and needed tools and building supplies.

I suggest that you get him twelve bags of candy corn. popcorn::

Ironic - But this was just announced & since somebody here guessed Spaceballs I though I would share...

Mel Brooks is developing an animated TV series based on his comedy feature "Spaceballs."

Like the 1987 movie, which parodied well-known science-fiction movies, "Spaceballs: The Animated Series" will spoof current blockbusters as well as every genre of entertainment from movies and reality TV to culture and politics.

It is set to debut on cable network G4 in fall 2007. Production has already started on an initial batch of 13 episodes.

Brooks, who will voice two characters in the show, co-wrote the pilot with longtime collaborator Thomas Meehan, who will oversee all writing for the series.

We'll be filming episode 1 of "Jeffrey's Diabetic Angels".

Curt, you can be the police officer ::cop: bringing trays of Konk Koolers while I say my signature line of 'My name is Jeffrey and these are my girls'. :smooth:

I agree about that. When we registered Tom was getting very bored and wanted to scan everything just because he liked the scanner. I threatened him with his life not to scan anything weird and it actually worked.

http://bestsmileys.com/scared/5.gif[/img] Trying to break us up so she can run away to Venezuela???? Be nice to me or I'll feed your kids sugar!!!

You can feed the girls as much sugar as you want. That is not a threat because I know what cabin you are in and I will take Karen to the pool and leave the kids with you. They would love to spend some special time with Uncle Curt. :cool1:

Pass, I have a feeling Karen and Chris are afflicted with the same alteration of gravity and equilibrium so I'll have enough to do.

Ok crew - There is less going on here then at work, so I started this little mental exercise. This is post 17,314. 20,000-17,314=2,686 needed to reach our goal. Divided by the 31 days remaining means we need 86.645 posts per day.

Yack it up! :hyper2:

Whoops, tripped over a stone - didn't even see it there....

OK, so I've been to a different Walmart, a Target and a Toys R Us in my Elmo quest and no Elmos to be Tickled!!! :furious: Now it is truly my life goal to get one of these suckers! :rotfl2:
