Hmmm, Gail, since I have gone to Mark & Mary's and with any luck, I'll be invited again, maybe we can work out a deal. How many konk koolers is it worth?

Note to self - lock up DCL lotion when Cindy comes to visit or she'll be sending it to Gail. :lmao:

Ok, it's been an exhausting day, and I'm ready to go to bed.

I started out early this morning to LOTS of heavy rain on my way to bring Emily to school. Then, Madison and I were off to JoAnn's for some spools of ribbon for a project that I'm working on for my trip to Phoenix next week. Then, we ran to Sears to look for some coordinating clothes for family pictures. Next, off to my doctor's appt to review my blood tests (overall ok, but a few things I need to work on). Then, off to Target and Publix and back home for some lunch. Then, my mom came over to watch Madison while I went to get my hair done (highlights and haircut) and as soon as I got out there, I was almost late picking Emily up from school. Back home again for a little bit of relaxation (only about 2 hours). Then, we went to Sears for family pictures and Emily's 5th birthday pictures. Dinner at McDonald's because Emily just kept begging for it and I gave in. Then, back home to put the girls to bed and crash to watch BB. Right as I started to watch it (an hour late, but on the DVR), Chris mentions that he never saw Tuesday night. So, I watched that again with him and we watched tonights episode. Then, I just sent Chris off to Walmart of redeem the rest of my Coke coupons from the Olympics promotion.

So, needless to say, I'm SO tired!! I'll have to catch up with the thread tomorrow morning. Nighty, night all!!!

Ahhh, the relaxing life of a stay at home mom!! :rolleyes1

Hope today is a less hectic one!

I went to Walmart tonight to try to use the rest of my coke coupons too but they would only let me use one. The cashier said it was one coupon per purchase and I'd have to leave the store and go back in! I wasn't in the mood to argue so I just got 5 bottles and then stopped at the grocery store where I picked up 10 more bottles. When I got home, there was a message from Shawn saying he forgot all about using the 10 coupons I gave him and when he went to the grocery store they would only let him use 1 coupon per visit so he ended up giving away the other coupons! I think I ended up not using 4 coupons but considering that I won a whole bunch I don't think that's too bad. I just wish they didn't expire so soon. I ended up giving a lot of them away too.

What did I miss? What are all of these coupons from and how did you get them? I've read many references.

My family could drink more coke than I could ever buy. When I do buy it, it seems like it's gone in a flash. When we don't, they drink water which is better for them anyway. I noticed this school year, with the hot lunches they have every other week, it's only a bottle of water offered -- no more pop for the kids in school (or is it soda for those of you in the northeast?).

 Happy Anniversary Hope & Duane

It's bound to be less hectic, since I don't have a car today. Chris took Emily to school, since he has a doctor's appt this morning. Then, he's keeping the car all day and picking Emily up from school. Then, we have Emily's last swimming lessons tonight and then she's off to Grandma's house for the weekend.

Ahhhhhh......the sound of relaxation!!! Actually not, since I have SO many things to get done before I leave for Phoenix next Wednesday morning.

Mary, I wouldn't just send it to her.

I'd list it on ebay and then tell her that she could purchase it that way. :rotfl2:

That is, unless a konk kooler appeared at my door. Then I just might ship it right off to her.

It was a Coke promotion during the Olympics. You'd go to the Coke website and enter codes from your Coke products and they'd give you an "event." If the USA won a medal in that event you got 5 free 2 liter bottles of Coke. You could also request something like 5 codes be mailed to you every day. I got in on it late so I ONLY earned 40 free 2 liters. ONLY.

After receiving all of my coupons, I realized there was no way we'd drink that much Coke. So I asked KT's youth group leader if they could use them for their get togethers. She snatched them up so fast. :)

Worked for me, worked for her!!!

Two threads. Two U TOPs this morning. (both of which I beat out Mary by mere seconds.) That's a sign. :)

:cheer2: Keep going Mary!! It gets easier!!

I'm watching BB, it's pretty exciting!!

I was out mowing the lawn earlier and the leaves on my trees are changing. :furious: Where did summer go!!! We're thinking about closing the pool this weekend. It's just too cold and once the leaves start falling, it's nothing but a pain in the neck.
It did get easier!! I'm not sore at all this morning, but boy am I tired! I stayed up until after midnight watching Andre Agassi play (told you I'm a tennis geek!) It was worth it to see him get the win tho!

I'm not looking forward to fall. While the leaves are pretty, it only means one thing....cold weather is on the way!! :cold: And since Dana will be back to school in Missouri in January, I won't have a good excuse for a trip to Florida!

My life has taken a dramatic turn and Ive been very busy.
The week Chick Fil A was getting ready to close for remodeling, my DH got a job offer through his company for Tampa.

We ended up finding our deam home in Haines City,
im about 24 miles from the enterance of OKW and SSR,(going I-4)
If I go the back way Im about 17 miles from MGM
We're getting this house ready to sell and that means painting everythig back to nuetral.(BORING)
We didnt expect to moce so quickly. so theres a million things to get done.
Hope everyone is well and good luck getting to the magic post #

Hey guys....

Heads up.....new Mouse Matters posted.

Check my siggy. :)
Love the new Mouse Matters!! That has happened to us in the past!!!

So someone asked what we need to do to get to 20,000 by sailing day. Well we need approximately 5608 posts. Divided by the 51 days we have left that means we need to do 110 posts (or 7.3 pages) per day.

It's the SAME Rock River! I lived in Rock Falls, Illinois, about 60 miles south of Rockford, IL. The Rock runs between Sterlihg and Rock Falls. I've been through Janesville many times!

Just goes to show "It's a Small, Small World"!!
Ok, it is a small world!! I grew up in Elgin, IL, off of Rt. 20. We used to go to Rockford and Rock Falls on occasion when I was young.

It is freezing here today. It is only 54 here right now and very windy. At least the sun is out. I sure hope it warms up.

I have decided home school the girls. I ordered all the material and it should be here soon. Karen thank for all the info on K12. It really helped. :cool1:
YIKES!!! 54 degrees??? WOW, we won't get that until Jan/Feb!! Oh yeah, that's why I live in FL!!!

Good luck with the homeschooling!! Thankfully, our public schools here are pretty good, and if not, our church (and Emily's preschool) goes all the way up to 8th grade, so we're torn between public & private.
