DD has a Birthday PArty to go to today. So, I have about 3 hours to myself and the only thing I can think of is cleaning. How sad is that?

Very Sad!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN!!! :bday:

Tina - That's great that Tim is sailing! You were lucky they let you add someone because I was told I could not add anyone to my cabin and I'm travelling alone.

Amy - There is a short section just before the first WDW exit that has construction and the speed limit is 65MPH. A good portion slow down at that spot and some cops sit there but that late at night shouldn't be too bad.

Has everyone bought their cruise insurance? I think today is the last day to do that, 60 day window.

Yay we're staying atfer fom the 26-28th at the dolphin for free (YAY Starpoints)

Can anyone tell me when the group DVC Mickey's party is? I need to get our tickets.

Also watch the entrance to wdw after the gates I saw a policecar there Sat. on my way in.

No cruise insurance here. No Air insurance either :)

Don't feel bad, I turned 37 this summer, and I'm already having senior moments too. I also call it "mom brain" because it seems that since I've had kids, I'm always forgetting things, or I walk into a room for a reason, then I forget WHY I went in there.
Actually it's a little known hormone that kicks in after you have children. It's called the "dumb" hormone! And it has been affecting me for 26 years! It's like chickenpox....once you have it, it seems you're always carrying it around in your body, and it pops up at the most inopportune time!

I think mine kicked in when I was pregnant --- I was never so forgetful as I was when I was pregnant.

I've heard that!

I have a GTKYFKK Question ----

How did you decide on your DIS user id --- some kind of obvious but others aren't. So, I'm curious, how did you pick yours? Was it your first choice? Does it have any meaning?

I'll answer as I post -- looking to keep that post count down a bit and let Amy take over the lead. :teeth:

Mine stands for C(indy), G(ary), C(ameron), W(alker)

Mine might be one of the more obvious ones. I love WDW so became WDWLVR or WDW Lover :)

I guess I'll follow Mary into the "OBVIOUS" category... :rotfl:

I was originally cherylp then I had a weird login problem, so I created a new id adding a 3. ( no reason for the 3 was random.)

Mine is for my favorite team - the Metrostars. Only problem is Red Bull bought the team and promptly renamed it to Red Bull NY. So, now I have a dilemma - do I change it and lose my post count or leave it alone as a nostalgic reminder of what they use to be?

Your name is Dennis and you're typically abrupt in speech? :rotfl2:

Ok, I'll play. Mine isn't Disney related, at all!!!

Many years ago, we used to have a Maine Coon cat named Ali, because she was a stray and we named her Ali for Alley Cat. And, of course, we used to call her Ali Cat all the time. Then, while living in IL, I decided to get a vanity plate and decided on alikat. And, in IL, if you put a number in your vanity plate, it's a lot less expensive. So, I put 99, because my previous vanity plate was ZETA99, for my sorority and our chapter was the 99th chapter in the group.

So, there's the long story behind alikat99.

I have an obvious DIS name because when I joined the DIS I wasn't planning on posting much or staying long. My legal name is DianaLyn with no space and big L kinda like AnnMarie. My first day of kindergarden I realized that my name was going to be a pain in the neck, so I just started introducing myself as Diana and it stuck. My mother wasn't thrilled with it. My entire family still calls me DianaLyn though, and I can't stand it to this day. :rotfl: It's a weird family thing--all the girl grandkids on my father's side have two names as their first name. :confused3

Now that you've answered, I'll tell you a secret. :ssst:

Your name is what inspired my question. I could not for the life of me figure it out --- I thought maybe you used the metro system to commute (if that's even the name in your area). I had no idea it was a sports team.

Please don't change it, I'll never recognize you as you! :rotfl2:

Hi Cruise Mates!

I can't have been away THAT long. Lots of pages to read...

PD that the Very Close Veins procedure heals well.

Glad that BF gets to be part of the trip.

The party bus is going to be oh so much fun! Sorry we will miss it.

Wonderful news about all the savings going on...more $ to play with m'dear!

DIS user ID: I like Peter Pan. When we were kids and the Mary Martin version would play each year :happytv: (dating myself for sure! ;) )that name Lily was not common, so it was me! Someone had my name--happy thoughts for me. I took it for the screen name here since it is sort of "Disney-themed.

Well my name here on the DIS is a combination of my dog's name (CHIP) and the fact that I've always liked Cinderella.
