Emma's big thing is privacy. Emma needs privacy, she tells me. Alrighty. She even yelled at the dog today--Penny, Emma needs privacy. The dog just want to drink out of the toilet. :lmao: Amy, have you tried privacy? :lmao:

Funny you should say that, it was Cameron's big thing too.

Have you tried a little potty for Julia? Sometimes the regular one can be intimidating.

Who woulda thunk. I'll keep this in mind for next year when we'll probably be going through a little PT around here.

I should try that, we actually have a really cute Princess one. Julia likes to sit on it when I'm the the shower. Of course, she's fullly clothed. It always freaked Emma out and I sort of just referred to it as my bathroom dust collector, I never actually thought about using it! :lmao:

For real? :lmao:

I didn't want to cast my sunshine on Amy's rain cloud, but potty training here has been VERY successful. Before I had even seen that Amy was starting Maddie, I had decided on Saturday that was Emma's last day with diapers. I told her I was tired of changing her and she's a big girl and that's it, she's done. Well, since Sunday, she's had 3 accidents and 2 of them were on Sunday! One was yesterday, but I'm not really counting that since we were at Six Flags and I didn't ask her if she had to go and didn't make her go (she had a pull up on, the only time I let her wear them is when we go out for a long time) She's woken up dry every morning since Sunday!!

Julia on the other hand, while she's very interested in what Emma's doing, and loves to flush, is totally terrified of actually sitting on it.

Emma's big thing is privacy. Emma needs privacy, she tells me. Alrighty. She even yelled at the dog today--Penny, Emma needs privacy. The dog just want to drink out of the toilet. :lmao: Amy, have you tried privacy? :lmao:
Congrats to you, Diana! Actually, that's how it happened with Emily, but I have to keep telling myself that Emily was 2 1/2, almost 3, by the time that I started potty-training her. Madison just turned 2 last month. So, I'm giving her a break from the potty, and we'll try again in the next week or 2. And, I might have to give privacy a try. :rotfl2:

See, that's what Madison likes to do. She'll sit on the little potty fully clothed, and she doesn't even mind sitting on it without diapers. But, she doesn't want to actually GO in it.

DD would kill me if she knew but...........

There is also an insert that goes into the "intimidating" potty. It brings it down to their size. That way there is no way for them to fall in and they feel comfortable. It brings the big world into their size perspective. Have a cute pic of DD sitting on the potty with a big smile on her face! She was so proud! :lmao: :lmao:

Well, I did it! I gave my 2 weeks notice for my working Wednesday. I will probably work Tuesdays for the next 2 months (DD is okay with that). I will be done working by August and come Fall I will have to start job hunting somewhere closer to home.

Funny thing is that TODAY is my BOSSES birthday! Happy Birthday! :lmao:

Hey look, new smilies!! Just when I was getting the hang of where they were, they went and switched them all around again!

 Love him, he's gonna be used a lot over on the CB!
:happytv: He's cute.
:dance3: This one is kinda freaky, it looks like they're doing the Macerena.

Ooohhh, those are fun smilies!!! I'll just have to find some uses for them.

We're getting ready to head to Blizzard Beach tomorrow with my mom. Chris wanted to go, since he's had such a bad week at work, but since he's still oncall, it's just impossible. But, he'll be joining us either tomorrow night or Saturday morning to visit with Mark & Mary, Jeff and Cheryl & Todd for dinner on Sat night.

We got a bunch of rain tonight, and it overfilled our pool! Luckily, it didn't get high enough to come inside. And, today's the official start of hurricane and the rainy season here in FL. I guess Mother Nature was on the ball today, because we got about 5 inches of rain in about an hour.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Both kids are doing fine. The oldest will be back in school tuesday. He will have more testing the week after school is out.(June 8this the end of school. His test is on the 14th.)
The middle child won't make it back for the end of school.Just needs more time. ;)

Excellent news, Chris!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Amy, I can't believe you all are meeting for dinner this Saturday. It seemed like just yesterday that the idea came up. Is Cape May still your plan? I would absolutely love to join you. It's one of my favorites -- just ask Mary. :teeth:

Gary has me locked out of the DIS. Apparently, there is some content on this thread that is subjective. He's been tinkering with the security -- I suppose that's one way to get me off the computer. :badpc: :badpc: Every time I try to do something, I have to enter a password. Good thing he shared it with me. That's it for me tonight -- I'm getting off so he can change it back to the way it was before I went to the grocery store. :charac2:

They really changed the smilies around. I'll have to try them when I don't need a password to access them. Diana, your right, the new dancers are kind of spooky.
