I set the timer on the stove for a few minutes before 11:00 so I wouldn't miss it. At 10:55 I turned on the tv, sat down to watch the show and see Diana and Stacy. Well.....I'm not sure what happened but I somehow fell asleep before the show started and when I woke up it was 12:20 PM. :rolleyes1

:lmao: That's funny. I actually just watched it and in the first 5 minutes of the show, you see us 4 different times!! Of course, none of you got to see it, so I could be making it all up! :rolleyes1

I saw you, I saw you!!! :Pinkbounc

Okay, is it just me or is Starr looking too thin, and old, now? Her face and neck just look very drawn, like her skin is stretched too tight or something (almost anorexic looking.)

Thanks, Cindy. You made me LOL :lmao: :lmao: twice on a sad day for us.

We heard back from the vet. The lab tests showed cancer cells in the fluid that was withdrawn from Tigger. The vet said he could go in and remove the tumor, but with the type of cancer that it is, it would come back in 12-18 months. He said that if she were his cat, he would just do nothing so long as she isn't in any pain, which at this time, she is not. When she gets to that point, then he would euthanize her. Ken wants me to ask what the cost would be for the surgery before we make a decision. At least all our girls will be home this weekend so she can get plenty of lovin'.

Thanks to everyone for their concern. In a way, it's a little bit of a relief. We have other cats and at least this is nothing that can spread to them.

OMG! That is funny! :lmao:

Jeff, thanks for the shirt offer, but I've got all the clothing I need from the event. I invested at full price. I figured it was my last "first time."

Awww, I'm sorry. I've missed The View. Post up those 2.5 seconds will ya? :teeth:

Mark and Mary, enjoy the last moments and the meet tomorrow.

MaryJ So sorry about your Tigger cat

I spent last evening at local "doc in the box" ER place with DS#1 who is having allergic reaction to something. Hives and itching and swelling, what a mess. He missed work today too. Things seem to be settling some, but he is not comfortable yet.

See!! I wasn't lying!!! :lmao:

The odd thing about Starr is that she's even skinnier in real life. When they say the camera adds 10lbs, they are lying, it's more like 20. All of the women on that show are scary thin. Like toothpicks for arms and legs. On TV Jennifer Anniston looks thin, but not gross thin, but in real life, she's teeny tiny....I wanted to give them all a sandwich! :lmao:

Starr was very nice to talk to though. She came up to our section and chatted with us for a bit, telling us about her dog and a wedding she was going to that weekend. It was definitely a fun show to go to a taping of!

Ok I set my DVR so maybe I'll get to see myself on TV!
I can't believe the whole world didn't tivo or dvr the show today to see our Lovely Faces all over their tv screens! :happytv: :lmao:

I just finally got a chance to sit and relax I've been on the go since 5am!

MaryJ - I'm so sorry to hear about Tigger. When we had to have our first dog, Fluffy, put down my dad had it done on a Wednesday and my parents waited until Friday to tell me so that I would have the weekend before having to go back to work. Then about 6 years ago we had to put the cat down because she got ill. My dad asked me to bring her to the vet because he was at work before they opened and he would pick up her body after work to bury her in the yard by the dog. Well I stayed with her while they gave her the shot and she went to sleep. They let me stay in the room with her for a while and then I went to work and my boss yelled at me for coming in after that and told me to go home.

Lily - Sorry to hear about your son. I had a reaction to something one time and broke out in hives. The worst part was some of them were on the bottom of my feet, that was very uncomfortable!

Jeff - Long time no see, Dude! Hope your felling a little better

Julie - I Love these gals too!! :dance3: :dance3: They crack me up!

Oh Mary, I'm so sorry to hear about Tigger. pixiedust: for comfortable days ahead.

Mary, I too am sorry to hear about Tigger. I was hoping for much better news. I hope the rest of her days are pain free.

:surfweb: Good Morning Friends and Neighbors!!

For those looking for us - we're here, just lurking a little more than usual. As some may guess Karen and I are Tiger fans and Fox Sports has had the last five or six games on straight so we've spent our evenings doing this :happytv: and a little of this .

Our beloved Tigers are slumping right now, but fair weather fans we neigh be, so all hail for the Olde English D

(Todd Jones after last night: :duck: )

Moving on before all of you can hear any comments from Jeff.

The PT topic seems to have been put on hiatus so I can come off the wall again.

Karen is still  from the climate change so she's operating at 1/2 peak performance - but still reads all that is said. She sends her greetings to all, her well wishes :woohoo: to those who have experienced happiness recently, and her thoughts, and pixiedust: for those in need.

MaryJ - I'm shielding her as best I can about Tigger. That will just mess her up, Karen really is just a cat at heart. And remember the advise from the vet keep Tigger on tummy rubs about 15 or 20 times a day and all the catnip he/she can stand. Cats are so standoffish but dang if they don't worm their way into people's heart.

Stacy & Diana - Have agents contacted you yet for a scrapbooking reality series yet? I can think of no better hosts! (Guest appearances from many people wearing lime green of course!!)

Ok I think I'm covered for catchup - back to lurking.

Tomorrow's meet is still at Cape May Cafe and will include a few new DISers as well.

OKWDreamin - Marla, I hope we get to meet with you and your family.
:wave2: I really hope we get to meet you too!!! Just look for the  clan! I can't believe we will be there today!!! Woot!! :dance3:

Morning all. :sunny: :surfweb:

I just returned from an early morning run to Sam's Club. We needed milk desperately so I thought I'd just run up there to pick it up. $175 later, I'm back. It is so easy to buy way too much at Sam's. Now I remember why Gary stops a lot on his way home for those gallons of milk. But, in my defense, with Cameron home for the summer, he'll no longer be eating peanut butter sandwiches for lunch, so I had to prepare to feed him. :scared:

Busy day for us. Cameron has a baseball game this afternoon -- last nights was rained out due to thunder and lightening. They didn't even get through the 1st half of the 1st inning before the game was called. Fortunately, it started pouring just as we left the field. And, in no time, the storm blew out of the way and the sun started shining again. Cameron's coach said we should start preparing for double headers from here on out to get all the missed games in along with the regular games.

Walker has a soccer game -- his last one of the season as next weekend he'll be camping with Gary. So, things are going to be settling down just a little bit around here. :cheer2:

Hopefully the weather will hold out and we'll get around to cutting the lawn today. I'm thinking of calling the landscaper back to come and do it again. Crazy, we just can't get around to cutting it on any regular basis. And, the bushes :faint: As soon as the spirias are done blooming, I'm definately calling the landscaper to tackle them. They really need a good trimming.

I'm anxious to hear the details of tonights pre-cruise meet at Cape May! :thumbsup2 Have fun everyone!

Have a great weekend! :sunny:

Another nice day here. We have a busy day. First off is to go to the Relay for Life (John's aunt has a team)to do our laps around the track. We'll hang out there for the afternoon then on to Deanna's soccer game at 4 PM. After the game we're on to a 50th birthday party for a friend. If we get away from the party at a decent time we'll head back over to the Relay for Life. :moped:

Good Morning all! Hope that your weekends are starting out good. We are having a good weekend so far, last night had a BBQ with some friends, the girls each had a friend over to slip and slide. This was really funny to watch, as they either flew too far down the slip and slide, and hit the end, or didnt go far enough. They had a great time! Today I had to work, so girls are at sitters, but tonight we are going to find something fun to do! No plans yet, but we will do something. And tomorrow we are cleaning, the girls have way too much clothes, and I'm sure half of it doesnt fit anymore. :confused3
