I believe the term I use with the CM taking the Green Ticket was "wus". :lmao:

Diana, you and I are going to have to try to "wus"'s version. :thumbsup2 Gary & Bruce can wait at the exit with your girls and for my boys to exit out of the "real" ride.

I just got off the phone with Stacy and told her all about my day, but I figured I'd share it here too. Mark's good luck must be rubbing off on me. No, my boss didn't offer to pay for my cruise....I'm my own boss, so I guess maybe my boss is.....anyways.....

This morning my phone rang and it was the lady at AC Moore (craft store) calling to tell me my Cricut (the electronic die cutting scrapbooking machine) came in. Now a little background, these are really hard to get and Michaels and Joanns are not accepting their 40% coupons on it. They are $299. So for Mothers Day, bruce was gonna buy me one. He talked to the manager and he said no problem, they'd take the coupon. I thought it was too good to be true. So, she called this morning and said, one small problem. (YIKES! They aren't accepting the coupon) Nope, my coupon had expired so all I had to do was bring in the current one!! So I got it for $180 and everyone else is getting it for $299. BARGAIN!!!

Then I get home and I was on a waiting for August for one night at BW for BW view. My ressie was at SSR, which was the only thing available. So DVC called and left me a message, my waitlist was through, but it was for BW preferred, not BW view. OK fine, I'll take it. So I go back to my answering maching to get Stacy's work number and the phone rings again, it's DVC guy calling me back 10 minutes later saying a BW view just came open!!! :cool1:

I'm off to buy a lottery ticket now!

Cool, Diana!

Diana & Stacy, have a great time tomorrow. I hope they have someone awesome for their guests!!! I'm sure you'll post all about it when you get home. :cool1:

Okay, y'all have probably talked about it before. But what is Twisted Tea?

Something Diana drinks on chat nights.

That's all the help I can offer. :confused3

Diana - congratulations on a great day. I had one myself. Can I just tell you all that I have the most wonderful husband. I love Dumbo and a trip to WDW just doesn't seem complete without a trip to the Magic Kingdom and a visit to Dumbo in the hub. Well we won't be doing that this trip. So I came home today to find this waiting for me:

Isn't he adorable? Don't know exactly where we will put him yet but I love him! And I love the man who gave him to me!

Is anyone else concerned about the lack of Cruise Updates? I was reading the trip reports from last year's cruise, and they had updates every 2-3 months. They knew in February the theme of the cruise and some of the speakers. It's almost June and we haven't heard a thing. :confused3 Any ideas? Do you think it would help to call Member Services and let them know I'm not a happy camper? Am I being too demanding?

There is a new project manager heading up the cruise this time. I've heard that's the reason for the change in how frequently we've received information. Jeff (copper3 if you do a search on him) posted not long ago that instead of getting several email updates spread out over time, we were going to get one update. It seems that plans aren't solidified yet as to who the guests on board are going to be and DVC doesn't want to commit to something they have to recind late.

No, IMO, you are no being too demanding. A lot of us feel that DVC is missing in not giving us some information. Even a little tid bit would be something.

Gosh, all this great news for all of our fellow cruiser!!! Isn't it just great to share it with friends! Looks like someone is floating around. :tink:

OK--that makes me sound like I have a drinking problem! :lmao:

Twisted tea is like Hard Lemonade (I don't know if you guys have Mike's) only it's iced tea. I'm an iced tea junkie. I could drink a whole pitcher of it myself every day (I drink Crystal Light, so it's sugar free!) It's got quite a bit of kick to it! It comes in several flavors--Peach, Raspberry, Regular and Half N Half which is half tea/half lemonade and has actually become my new favorite!

Mary, that Dumbo is awesome!! Mark, you're a great guy!

Dumbo has a very special meaning to me as well. I don't have a lot of pictures of my mother, but one of my favorites is a picture of her and I on the Dumbo ride. Whenever I see the ride, I get a warm happy feeling. I've tried to duplicate the picture with me and the girls, but Bruce isn't that great of a photographer and we have a couple of the backs of our heads.

Well, then, maybe I should say on Friday night chats. I don't hear you mention it much on Sunday nights, but we've had a few Friday night chats where I needed a twisted tea or 8 to keep rolling. Remember the marathons we had prior to SSMC05. Midnight was the norm back then. Stacy, remember, you would come home and take over for Jeff. :teeth:

Tag team chat????

Can't wait!!!

Love the Dumbo Mary - that Mark, what a sweetie!

Diana way to go on your great deal for your cricut machine :Pinkbounc

We were just at our SIL Michaels store yesterday and he said I could use a coupon for the cricut. I will have to wait till closer to Christmas to get one though. Coleen REALLY liked it, Jason did a demo for us. It is pretty neat.
BTW His stor had 12x12 paper, regular priced at $.59 on sale for $.25 This included a few Disney pages, so we bought a few and added some Halloween stuff so I am ready for MNSSHP pics.

Dumbo is very cute GOOD JOB to Mark! :thumbsup2

Gail and John have a GREAT time in Disneyland!

Both our Michaels and Joann's have big signs saying you can't use the coupons. :sad2: I was more than happy to give AC Moore my business!

I took advantage of the 4/$1 12x12 paper on Sunday too!

That was the night I got home at 1am from a girls day out!! Lots of tea and other drinks availiable that day!
I hope Walker's leg is ok. That must have been scary!

Amy - I'm in for a Laundry Party, twisted tea's for everyone!!

Diana - I'll see you at 6am tomorrow!

Thanks for the info Stephanie & Jeff

Curt & Karen - Welcome Back!

Mary - Dumbo is so cute!!! What a wonderful hubby!

Oh and yes I'll be bringing my camera tomorrow on my excursion to the wild jungle of the city with Diana tomorrow! Will Post some pics when we get back! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the good wishes for Walker. When we rebandaged him up this morning after his shower, the wound already looked much better than it did yesterday. A couple more days of the butterflies and it should be good a new. It was such a strange thing to happen. Mary, it wasn't pyrex, it was Fiesta Ware. It not only sliced Walker's leg, but left a nice dent in my floor. New rule as of today, the kids don't come into the kitchen until lunch is on the table. Let me tell you, the little 1 year olds are rebelling against this change. :rotfl2: Standing and begging at the doorway to be fed. It isn't a pretty sight. :rotfl2:

Cameron played a baseball game tonight and I had a daycare interview so I missed all but the last inning. Doesn't it figure, Mom's not there and Cameron hits a home run!!!   Two runs scored on that one! Cameron has a really good swing and when he connects, he connects. I'm thinking this must be the 4th one he's gotten in the 3 years he's played. So, we know he has it in him.

Nasty storms rolling through my neck of the woods right now. :umbrella: :umbrella: No need to worry about watering the garden tomorrow. Gary's hoping our tent that he pitched last night at the State park is still standing with the winds the way they were blowing. It would be really bad to get there to camp and find out our tent is at the bottom of the lake. Gary would think it was great --- just what he needs to buy a bigger one. I tell you, we have this tent that is 3 room. It's huge --- we could sleep just about all of us inside of it. And, that's the same tent Gary takes when he camps with Walker alone -- just the two of them. It's like living in two separate houses. But, Gary is always looking to buy a bigger one. :confused3 I hope we don't have to on Friday night when we go away for our long weekend although it would make Gary a "happy camper". :teeth:

WOW! Too much new information today. I knew I should not have gone to work! ;)

Mary - Dumbo is awesome! DH has 3 Donalds (2 displayed year round and 1 foe Christmas). They go nicely in a small corner.

Curt and Karen - Welcome Back! Curt - DH and I figure Karate will come in handy when DD starts DATING! :lmao:

Bike accident totally forgotten. Both girls were riding again when I got home from work like nothing had happened.

Jeff - Thanks for the DVC cruise sign up. I don't remember seeing that before. I signed up my email address for updates. COME ON DVC WE NEED SOME NEWS! :furious:

Cindy - I am happy for your airfare deal and sorry you won't be joining us for the fireworks cruise.

I will be calling to remove Cindy's Family of four from the fireworks cruise that is scheduled for Friday 10-27-06. If there is a family of four or less who is interrested in joining some DISers on a Magical Fireworks voyage please PM me tonight.

Diana - Great news on your waitlist! Go buy that lottery ticket! :wizard:

Good morning everyone! My last day of work and then I'm on vacation until June 6th!

No, I read somewhere here that they weren't sending out as many notices as in previous years. Plus by reading here, I'm sure we will be kept well informed!

Mary ~ Mark is such a sweetie to get you that DUMBO!

Diana & Stacy - have fun in New York City today! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Morning everyone. :sunny:

I hope you have a great day.

Diana & Stacy --- have a great time today at the VIEW taping! :cool1:

Mark & Mary --- have a great trip to WDW and cruise.

Roxann --- glad to hear your DD has recovered from her accident. :thumbsup2 Many years ago, Cameron rode his bike into a picnic table while we were camping. That was it for the year, the bike was left in the garage until the next summer.
