Looks like they fixed the brunch issue. Mine is now showing up on Tuesday.

Great. Cindy's is fixed too.

Still no 2 day rentals though.

Member Services and DCL phone lines must have been ringing off the hook first thing this morning.

While I was able to make all my ressies no problem, I'm kinda disappointed that so many details in the booking were overlooked.

I've got Palo at 6:30 booked on the last night!LOL

Looks like the majority will be in Palo!

Wow! You guys have been busy booking all the fun stuff!! Unfortunately I can't book ours until August! I have no idea what to book, but who knows, I will figure it out. Hopefully there is something left! We will see!

I know that I have been really quiet for a while, and I have a really good reason for it! I have met this wonderfully incredible guy, and we just clicked and have been spending every minute that we have together. So, I have been busy with him, and the kids (he has a daughter 2 1/2 yrs old.) But I have been keeping up on the posts, just not replying! I will try to reply a little more.

Tina, that's great news for you!

Don't worry about having all the stuff booked up. DCL only releases so many slots each time so there will still be stuff when your time comes to book, and stuff to book once you get onboard.

Here's what I was able to book:

Tuesday - Palo brunch 11:30AM-1:00PM.
Tuesday - Castaway Cay Cabana Massage 2-3:00PM.

I hope they move my massage to Wednesday and not Monday or I won't have any film of the banana boat rides, or at least the guys boat. I think I better call and make sure.

MaryJ - I'm so glad to hear you were able to book what you wanted. That was very nice of you to help her Ann Marie. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

Tina - Congratulations, that's great news! I wouldn't worry about ressies, last year was my first cruise and I had no problem booking Casey in the Oceaneer Lab. We also did bicycles on Castaway Cay and Casey rented a tube when I wasn't looking. I think people who haven't cruised generally don't know about booking online so you'll be OK when that window opens. We also intentionally left a lot open because it was our first cruise and there was an uncertainty of what to do/book.

Congratulations to all who booked and those who specifically woke at 2:45AM to book. Chat was pretty cool.

Congrats to you, Tina!!! That is awesome!!!

Congrats Tina - that is wonderful news!

Came home for lunch and I had a message waiting for me about the change to brunch. At least they are making the adjustments quickly.

Chat was fun this morning. At least we all had friends around - think of those who got up at 2 or 3 am and had no one to share it with. There is nothing like DIS friends.

Wonder what Cindy will think if they call home to check their messages and they have the brunch one waiting for them. :lmao:

Here's what we got:

Monday
1 pm Banana boat - for me
2 pm Seahorse Snorkel for me and Mark

Tuesday
10 am Brunch for me and Mark

Wednesday
9:15 Seahorse Snorkel for me and Mark

We may or may not cancel one of the Snorkel boats depending on what DVC has planned. I just wish we had known their plans before booking - it would have made it easier.

Thanks Amy, I booked him for 8-10 each night, but umtil midnght on Tuesday. He would probably like the Pirate party, but it starts an hour after his bedtime...

I am not sure on booking excursions though.....

Yikes. I think maybe I should call her cell and let her know what's going on. I didn't want to call her cell and make her panic. You know, you get a call from a number you don't recognize while on vacation?

Chat was fun, even though I barely remember it! :lmao: I would have stuck around longer, but I couldn't get back in after they kicked me out.

Received a phone call from DCL and the Palo's brunch has been switched to Tuesday. Check your ressies online!:goodvibes

OK, Ilene... I booked the glass bottom boat for us Monday at 11:15. See you there.

Now for Palo's.. I think we will pass this trip; we don't want to make plans without Ian!

So do we think we will have pirate night this year? ARGH pirate:

I received a call from DCL today too about the brunch change - Karen made the reservation so I hope they called her but I will send her an email letting her know anyway.

So does that mean that you aren't putting him in Flounders at all?
Ha Ha Ha... no Diana, I meant that we will not make him eat alone. I am not sure how feeding time would work at Flounders...

Ah, ok, I get ya now.

I believe they are not allowed any food at all in Flounders because of the whole allergy thing. I know you can send them with a sippy cup or bottle that you fill, but I think that's it. They can't give the kids anything else while they are there.

We still have the cups with Emma and Julia written on them. Since we don't do daycare none of our other stuff is labeled, but those cups always make me smile. :teeth:

We found that usually around 2:30-3:00 we got some chicken fingers at Pluto's and split them between us as a snack to tie the girls over until dinner time. We usually eat right at 5, so cruise dinners were a little late for them. Even after the snack, Julia was still sticking her fingers in Gary's plate!

Speaking of, I talked to Cindy and they got to HH fine and are having a great time. I told her about our 2:45 am chat, she sounded like she was real disappointed she missed out! :lmao:

Julia and Matt should eat together - they could fight over the food ;)

What's even funnier is when I read this at first, I read it as Julie and Matt should eat together. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :confused3 I was like, huh, I hope they eat together, they're about to get married! :lmao:

But then I realized you were talking about Julia....cute, sweet, innocent, I want to snatch that salmon right off your plate, Julia. :lmao:

You're right, Diana! They don't feed them in Flounders. However, they will give them saltine crackers, if they can, because I know that Madison just LOVED that last year. If we're going to Palo for dinner, we just feed the girls from either room service or Pluto's before we head to Palo. It works out pretty well for us.
