Anyone care to guess where I was during this conversation? You guessed it, Walmart!
It's not that I'm a huge Walmart fan, really. It's just that I can get every single thing I need under one roof. That means I don't have to buckle/unbuckle the kids 10 times, load/unload shopping carts....etc. That being said, my Walmart is one scary place after dark. Born and raised in NYC and taking the subway and buses daily, there isn't much I'm afraid of. I'm afraid of my Walmart after dark.
I live in a very nice upper-middle class neighborhood, and Walmart is about 2-3 miles from my house. But Walmart is on the busline. Now, nothing against those people who don't have cars, but the general element that take the bus in this area just isn't a nice one. So I only go to Walmart in the morning or early afternoon, when it's safe.
Oh and Carol---I was
when you said you thought about keying that truck. I can't even begin to tell you the number of times I though about that when some dummy parks so close to me I can't get one of the girls in the car. Does anyone know how hard it is to get a baby across the seat and buckled in a carseat?
