Anyone care to guess where I was during this conversation? You guessed it, Walmart! :lmao:

It's not that I'm a huge Walmart fan, really. It's just that I can get every single thing I need under one roof. That means I don't have to buckle/unbuckle the kids 10 times, load/unload shopping carts....etc. That being said, my Walmart is one scary place after dark. Born and raised in NYC and taking the subway and buses daily, there isn't much I'm afraid of. I'm afraid of my Walmart after dark. :rotfl: I live in a very nice upper-middle class neighborhood, and Walmart is about 2-3 miles from my house. But Walmart is on the busline. Now, nothing against those people who don't have cars, but the general element that take the bus in this area just isn't a nice one. So I only go to Walmart in the morning or early afternoon, when it's safe.

Oh and Carol---I was :lmao: when you said you thought about keying that truck. I can't even begin to tell you the number of times I though about that when some dummy parks so close to me I can't get one of the girls in the car. Does anyone know how hard it is to get a baby across the seat and buckled in a carseat? :furious:

Don't forget, she did spend a week with me at WDW last month - I must have rubbed off on her. :rotfl:

Hey Carol - I see Wal-Mart got you all revvvvved up today. You should probably stay away from there.

The only time we go to Wal-Mart it's after midnight. I actually spend more time people watching......wondering where those people come from. The last time we were there a lady was there in her pj's and slippers. This was a large fluffy woman in her late 40's/early 50's  So, being nosey I checked out the stuff in her basket - she was there for important things like coke and chips

OMG!!!
You sound like me!! When we hit the local Wal-Mart Super Center late at night I say we are off to the Freak Show. The people watching is the best! Oh and if my sister and I are there togther....... forget about it. Laughs all around!!

Oh and thoughts of keying someones car has crossed my mind more times then I can count! I don't like they way people drive or park around here!

I started shopping at the neighborhood walmart, the ones that have a green logo. That is not too bad, they have cheap fuel too.

I have a guestion for those going back to WDW after the cruise. Which night are you planning to do MNSSHP the 26th or 27th? I dont think we have any difinitive plans yet. But we do want to do one of them.

We are going on the 26th for a couple of reasons: We are going on the Wishes cruise on Friday night. And I've heard that the Friday night MNSSHP is usually alot busier than the Thurs one. I'm guessing most of us going on the Wishes cruise will be going Thursday night.

We'll be doing MNSSHP on Thurs. and Epcot friday since they are supposed to have Evening EMH that night.

Oh yeah, I do!! There was even a time that I couldn't do it, so I ended up climbing into the passenger's seat (in the front) and putting Madison in from there. It was crazy!!!!

I only send Chris to Walmart after dark. Heck, before a vacation, I send him at Midnight when I realize that we've forgotten something while packing.

Our plan is to go on the 26th. We've been on Friday nights in the past, and it's usually pretty crowded. I'm sure that it's because of the local crowd (I can say that, since I'm basically local). Last year, we went on a Sunday night, and it was a LOT less crowded.

:thumbsup2 Thursday night MNSSHP for us too!

I did notice that there isn't one scheduled for the Saturday before we set sail (10/21). Maybe, just maybe, DVC is planning a special one just for us! pixiedust: pixiedust:

However, if that's the case, they better speak up soon. I'm beginning to think it's definately time for another update from DVC. ::yes::

I would really like to do MNSSHP again - I've only done it once but I might have to tag along with some of you since I might be solo after the cruise. Thursday would most likely be my preference.

Have I ever posted how I saw "Crocs" on sale at the local Hallmark store? The clerk there said they are very popular. I'll stick with my "blinkies"!

Well, I think that we're just wishful thinking :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I know that typically they don't have a MNSSHP on Saturday nights (I'm sure because they can draw the crowds without it). But, out of hope and wishful thinking, I checked the October calendar and the park is open until 10pm. Darn!!!

Well, maybe, just maybe, they have something else up their sleeve for Saturday night. And, if they don't, I'm sure that I'll find something to do. ;)

Oh, where oh where is another update DVC??? We are SO desperate for just a small glimpse into what you have planned!!! We know it will be great :woohoo: , but we're getting SO anxious.

WalMart, YUCK! But sometimes it's necessary. There's so much I can't stand about that place, starting with the parking lot. No matter which WM I go to, the parking always seems to stink. Even the newer WMs are pretty pathetic. But I will say this, when buying clothes for a little one that's growing like a weed you can't beat their prices.

Darn is right! I would have loved this.

I was just going through Cameron's portfolio which is going to be passed along to his 6th grade teacher. One of his exercises was to write about an event which happened that he will always remember. I was surprised to see that Cameron chose to write about the night of MH at the Magic Kingdom. It's always been a fond memory of mine -- when we had a water bottle squirting fight from Frontierland over to Tomorrowland, I was just surprised to see that Cameron wrote all the details and how he will never forget that night. What a wonderful WDW memory he has. :teeth:

So, although I think we might have been in the minority, we loved Member Homecoming and I envisioned a private MNSSHP holding some other great memories.

I'm hoping DVC sends an update soon. pixiedust:

Statistic ladies, where do we stand as far as updates from DVC compared to last cruise. I'm sure one of you has that answer. :teeth:

By the way, who took our nice weather? :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Diana, Curt? Was it you? ;)

Rainy, windy and COLD here today :cold: :cold: :cold: Highs in the 40's with frost warnings tonight. :cold: :cold: :cold:

I like the :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: much better!

Good morning everyone!

Cindy - you are right it is cold here. Heavy winds overnight woke us up at 3 am. So I'm dragging now.

I'll get you a recap of those DVC e-mails.

It's not us. It's pretty much been raining here since Saturday nonstop. Yesterday, it stopped for a while, the sun came out and within minutes it was monsooning again. :confused3

Good morning all!! Boy, we could do with some rain down here. It is SO dry that the wildfire threat is everywhere. My poor lawn is looking REALLY sad. Plus, it hasn't recovered since last year when the bugs hit it. Oh well, the rainy (hurricane) season will be here before we know it.

Mary said she'd get the details, but I do remember that with SSMC05, we pretty much got a Cruise News every 2 months. You could just about set your watch to it. We haven't gotten one since we booked in December, which means we are overdue.
