Diana - I am so sorry to hear that! From my recent banking escapades I can tell you that those of us who live in larger areas and do not bank with a "Local bank" have banks that do not care about us. We're just a number to them and it's sad!

That's what makes me mad....this is a local bank!! It has maybe 10 branches. And the hair salon is maybe 1 mile away from the bank....so the people I'm talking to on the phone know where the hair salon is. That's why I thought threatening with pulling my business would get them to do something. They have a very limited customer base.

We were over debited once. I just called the bank and the reversed it immediately. They have records for things like that, you know.

Sounds like you are in need of a new bank. Sorry you had to find that out this way.

Wow Diana you've had a crazy of couple of days, I mean between hosting the egg hunt and the charge screw up, It's enough to make you pull out your new blonde hair!

Amy it sound like the kids were going to have a great Easter party. I miss those days when Nick was younger and they did stuff like that. Nick did come home with Easter treats though from Jim the crossing guard (he walks to school from my parents house)

I know there were other things I wanted to respond to but my brain is frazzled from work, I swear there must be a full moon in the near future!

Sorry to hear about your bank problems...I had something similar happen to me, I was charged 2 times for semething I ordered over the phone, and the bank told me they could put in a dispute, mail me the form to fill out and they would do an investigation. All of this would take at least 14 buisness days. After that they would notify me of the outcome. They failed to tell me that my debit card was no longer valid after this until they issued me a new one 10 business days later. So here I am out about $150 dollars for the double charge and then I can't even use my card to access my account. I was fuming! I finally got in contact with the company and they refunded me the money for the second charge, and I called the bank and dropped the dispute, but still had to wait for my new debit card! Not fun at all!

I have to admit that I actually considered it, but I've pretty much sworn off of swaps. I used to LOVE doing it, but I never really ended up using the stuff. I need to do more scrapbooking for myself!

Circle journals have now replaced my swap addiction!!

Back away from my dessert slowly, and no one will get hurt. I've got an insulin pump (and a cop ), and I'm not afraid to use it (whether it be the pump or the cop!).

Good morning all! I'm actually home today. Work wasn't too crazy and since I have a house that needs a good spring cleaning I took a vacation day. It is supposed to get up near 80 today so it will be good to open up the windows and air out the house.

Well I unfortunately have to go to work but I will be off next week with Nick (spring break). We will be painting his room and doing our spring cleaning!

Well the weather here isn' going to be quite as nice as 80 but it supposed to be a good day

Must be my esp kicking in! I was just to lazy to look out the window last night to look at the moon. Guess I'll have to take some time out tonight to look at the heavens.

But I got so many good ideas from the stuff that other people make. Stuff I would never even think of. I guess that's why I do it mostly.
