Actually what I was asking for was a countdown to when we can call in to make our reservations onboard for massages, and the adult restaraunt.....

OK, I guess I forgot my coffee this motning...

David - I believe Diana answered this a couple of days ago (or maybe it was Amy) Normally it is 105 days out for concierge, 90 days for CC Members and 75 for new cruisers. However last time it was delayed a bit because we are a charter. So for right now we just need to sit tight and wait to hear from DVC which I'm sure we will as it gets closer.

Well, in all actuality, I am very, very shy. But by the time we met at the pre-cruise DIS Meet, I already "knew" all of you. So, it wasn't like meeting new people. I absolutely hate to meet new people, I hate to go to big parties where I know no one, I hate to talk on the phone and make all of those phone calls we have to make in life (like making an appointment). So, truly I am very, very shy.

Just like all my other top poster counters --- Amy, Mary & Diana. We are all very shy, just feel very comfortable around our friends.

Isn't that strange? If someone had told me 2 years ago that I was going to have a group of online friends, I would have told them they were crazy. I remember the first DIS meet I ever went to, one of the big posters over on the CB asked me if I ever met anyone from the internet before. I couldn't believe I was at the DIS meet, much less meeting these people from online.

Look at me now.

And, I'll confess one other thing. When Gary mentioned many moons ago about having an internet connection, I thought he had absolutely lost his mind. He'll tell you, I said what do we need that for? I'll admit it, I never thought we did.....until I started posting on the DIS.

Cindy hit the nail on the head for me too. In real life I am very shy, but when I'm around people I feel comfortable with I tend to lose that shyness. I've made some great friends through DVC and the DIS and that lets me be a more outgoing person. Cindy was that the DIS meet at Gurnee that we first met at?

Diana I'm glad you walked up and introduced yourself to the group. It wouldn't have been the same without you. Now here's my secret. Every time we hold a meet I have this panic attack that no one is going to show up!

As Mark said his Aunt and Uncle are in Woodridge - in fact we are going there this weekend for an early Easter dinner and to celebrate the 1st birthday of his cousin's little girl. We should definately find some time this summer to do a Chicago meet. Maybe we can even talk Steve and Coleen to come up for it and if we agree to have it in Berwyn (right next to my old stomping grounds Oak Park) we could even get Curt & Karen to come.

Alas Mary, I am FROM Berwyn. I currently rest my Mouskaears in the Detroit burbs. Karen and I are definately plotting a Dis-meet this spring/summer though. (She has recently feel in love with Chicago) GO CUBS!!

Dining Information for the Cruise ​

Here are the people I have who have indicated they would like to sit together for dinner on the cruise. This is for EARLY dining only. I don't believe anyone has offered to coordinate a group for late dining. If anyone is interested, feel free to go ahead.

There is still plenty of time to join in on our group. From the information David (FoxxBoys) posted yesterday, we have until 2 sailing before the cruise to make our final arrangements. I would like to have the information to DCL/DVC by early September so that will be my personal cut off date.

If you decide you would like to join us, here's the information I need you to send to me in a PM. Your last name, first name, DIS name, confirmation #, cabin #, how many in your party, how many children - if any, and if you have a preference as to who you sit with.

I think I have everyone up to date....if not, sorry I missed you, I'd appreciate if you could send it to me again.

Let me see how good a physic I am. My guess is that you guys go as Karen and Cubby but maybe someone with a wicked sense of humor added an h to Cubby. Am I close? Of course this could go two ways it could be added an h to make Chubby or replaced the C with the h to make Hubby? All in good fun I hope no offense is taken at my guess.

Sounds great. Friday the 27th is a MNSSHP and based on last year the fireworks were at 9:15. So I'm thinking we would meet up around 8:30. Does that sound about right? Since it is the party fireworks that means they will also be out over the lagoon. I think that will be awesome!

I think it would be closer to 7:45ish. The dessert thing lasted like 45 minutes before the ship sailed. Then the sailing time and water pageant. I will let you know more when I know more. I hope this helps with your planning.

Roxann, I don't know if I posted before, but thanks again for taking on this job. I'm looking forward to it, is sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.

DH had some good news today. He got his annual review and this year a 9.13% raise. He has given me the okay to quit my part time job (for the summer). When Fall comes I will look for another job closer to home and while I am job hunting I will work temporary (fill-in) positions.

I only work 2 days per week and I basically don't make anything by the time I pay for childcare/summer camps. I have wanted a job closer to home since I commute 32 miles per day. It is difficult to look for a new job if you already are working. So, I will give my notice in a couple of months and enjoy my summer off with my DD.

That was going to be my plan for this summer but it doesn't look like it's going to work out. Hopefully next summer.

Sorry I missed both chats this weekend. Friday we didn't get home till 10pm because we went to my sisters to have dinner since she is flying to Cairo Egypt tomorrow for 2 weeks and Sunday I remembered at 8:30 then staterted watching something on tv and next thing I know it's 10:30pm
