I'm hoping they finally get Josh and Donna together. I heard on the radio this morning that they might bring Rob Lowe back for the final show. I'm wondering if they are going to have some kind of funeral or memorial service for Leo. That would make sense to bring him back for that.

I always rooted for Josh and Donna. When Donna was hurt in Season 5(?) I felt bad for Josh watching Donna & the "sexy" journalist cooing it up. I grant the point that Josh has all but ignored her for five seasons - but still from a guy's point of view.... (I'm going to duck for cover now!!) :rolleyes1

I left chat briefly last night and when I got back, I came in on the tail end of some talk about the CJ. Was a decision made about when to send it out? And I have a question about the sign in page. Someone said that they were going to put names on the page in order of the mailing order. Are we supposed to list everyone's name? I just thought everyone would sign a line on the page sort of like a guestbook. I never could get that link to peas in a bucket to work, so I still have no idea what this should look like. I do have my book though.

Hey Mary - you can do your sign in page any way that you like. I think that Mary said that she was going to put everyone's names in order. I know that Diana and I are putting in blank tags for everyone to decorate as they wish for our sign in. Some CJs that I have been in just have numbers for people to sign their name and the date. It's totally up to you.

I've always been rooting for Josh and Donna as well, but I have to admit, when he was in the hospital with her, I said serves you right, Josh! I did like him and Amy together too though.

Try this.... http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=show_search&gallery=1 Use where title contains "Circle Journal" and In Category "Disney" That should come up with some of the CJs they did here on the DIS.

There's also some great CJ pics on this thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=957926&highlight=circle+journal

I agree about the West Wing. I haven't watched it this season hardly at all. I was so good for so long, and then it just started a downward spiral. I saw the story on the news this morning and they said they would tell us who won the election and somehow write John Spencers death in. I'm hoping that they let Josh be the VP.

I thought the same thing about Josh. That would be a nice way to wrap it up.

I'm going to miss this show. While the writing hasn't been as good as the first few seasons when Aaron Sorkin was doing the writing, it still is one of the best dramas on TV.

And Diane, while you're swooning over Josh Lyman, I hope you don't mind my mooning over not seeing Donna anymore

Everytime I've tried to post something all day, the server was too busy and I lost everything I typed. :furious: :badpc:

My weatherman told me last night at 11:00 that we were going to get 1-3 inches of snow today---we got 7. :cold: :furious: <----so glad they added him to convey my try feelings today. :lmao:

No problem!

I'm sure many of you have noticed, I swoon over many guys on TV.....I've always been a little too boy crazy! :lovestruc

West Wing is a must for me and this season actually has turned out pretty interesting. I too hope for the Josh Donna connection - I like things to be tied up with a bow nice and pretty and that would make it work.

I'm afraid many of the shows I love this year won't be on next season - West Wing, Alias, and then I have this fear that Commander in Chief and E-Ring will be cancelled. 24 is also a must for Matt and I. I guess if they cancel all these we'll have to find other ways to occupy our time. :woohoo: :rolleyes1 :woohoo:

The cruise is coming up fast and I am so excited - now I just need to figure out our dining since in April we can begin booking :cool1:

Good Morning All,

I'm on the desk today so watching the board and waiting for the phone to ring.

Speaking of Sunday night TV, NBC announced - West Wing cancelled at the end of the season :sad1: :furious:

Moving it to Sunday killed it... According to the news story the decision was made before John Spencer died (don't believe it). O well that leave me ONE show that I set the VCR (no landline - so no TiVO).

Morning 2cents worth :surfweb:

While I will be sad to see the West Wing go I can honestly say I haven't watched it much in the last year. The who prelim story line just didn't interest me.

My theory is the show became a turnoff for a huge segment when the pres became the lame duck and a mostly backstory to the camapign between Alan Alda and Jimmy Smits.

Be glad you didn't have to drive to work today. We left the house at 7:40am to bring Nick to my parents (who live 5 miles away) and got there about 8:35am :furious:
We ended up making a pit stop while at the house then headed off to work. Traffic was moving at a :snail: pace and finally got to work at 9:45am. Two hours after we left the house to go a total of about 25 miles. :faint:
I hate days like this. But the good thing is we just worked for 6 hours and came home a little early.

Hi everybody. It's time for my monthly post. I am so behind on this thread it's not even funny.

I do have a question for Curt since you are a police officer. Tonight on the way home from work I received my first speeding ticket of my life. How I never got one before I'll never know especially since I don't use a rdar detector. The officer said to follow the instructions on the back or go to court. If I go to court, is there something I should say or do to get the ticket reduced? Almost 7 years ago I received a ticket (my last ticket) for a left turn on a no left turn sign and went to court but the officer wouldn't reduce it because I had a clean driving record so it wouldn't have made my insurance go up, but for others who already had points they reduced there offenses from point offenses to large fine offenses. I felt penalized for being a good driver at the time. So what do you think I should do or say? I am actually glad I got the ticket because I was going way too fast for that zone and my mind was not in a good state after a terrible day at work. I will drive a lot more careful from now on especially in that area (Diana it was where Route 208 meets Route 4 just before Garden State Plaza).

Sorry to be a downer guys.

I did it! My first marathon! Not only that but I did Goofy! My DS was going to do the full marathon with me but decided that he would not be prepared so moved down to the half. I walked that with him Saturday then did the full marathon the next day. I finished both and that makes me Goofy! It was a great week to be there, perfect running weather (cooler) although those from Florida did not like the "cold" weather at all.

Copper3, sorry about the ticket. We don't get much leeway here either. Waiver/court fees are the same and mostly difficult to plead lesser. Good luck to you and glad you are ok though.

For those who haven't heard or didn't notice me filming as much as was possible on the 2005 Member cruise, I have made a DVD of the voyage. It is a little less than four hours long and has highlights of most of the bigger events from the cruise as well as a few smaller ones that I found time to attend.

Starting with the DIS Meet on Deck 10 and all the way through Susan Egan's Concert, the DVD captures the many activities of the SS Member Cruise 2005. A few highlights include "Ducky's" Presentation, Art Linkletter and the Pirates in the Caribbean Party where a few DISers can be seen and one shows us all how to dance!

If anyone wants a copy, PM me with your snail mail address and I'll send them out. I can't promise when I'll get to the post office but I usually don't take more than a week to get them out. Gail, your's went out Friday.

For those who will be on the 2006 Member Cruise, I will be filming again and possibly more so since Casey, my niece, will not be accompanying me. She tells me I embarrass her by filming too much. This time I'll have at least 12 hours to film with as opposed to the eight from this cruise.

Again, if you're interested, please let me know.

Thanks Lily. I deserved the ticket, I was going way too fast for that area especially with how the traffic pattern was. Sometimes it's better to get a ticket like that to learn a lesson.

Good morning everyone!

Jeff - sorry to hear about the ticket. Can't help with advise because knock wood I've never gotten one (might be because I only drive about 6 miles a day) :)

Lily - congratulations on doing the marathon - great job! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Congratulation, Lily! Way to go!!! :goofy: :goofy: :goofy:

Sorry about the ticket, Jeff. I can't offer any help either, as the one and only ticket I got, the officer suggested I go to court. So, I did and it was dismissed. In your case, I don't think it's was quite fair to penalize the "good drivers" either. Something doesn't seem right with that thinking. :sad2: I guess if it was me, I'd definately go to court. Worse case is you have to pay the ticket. Best case is they let it go....Right?

Very good thinking! :thumbsup2 Maybe you should have told this to the officer and he might have taken pity on you? :upsidedow
