Leavin in an hour for Midway airport. 6 days at WDW staying in a 1 br at OKW Then a 7 day cruise on the Disney Magic. I will post pics and trip report. See you all when we get back.

Squid and Coleen

By now your on your way. I hope you got out in time & safely with all the fog in the area.

I didn't realize you were going to be gone for 2 weeks. Awesome!! :thumbsup2

As I sit here, DISing & drinking my morning coffee, I'm thinking of this cute little guy...... :surfweb: .

I am so excited about the new smilies. We really were in a rut with the old ones.

Diana, play nice with them, now, will you? I'm sure someone worked very hard to add some enjoyment into our lives. :stir: Hey, look, this guy fits right in here now.

I still think this is my favorite :furious: I hope I don't ever use him seriously. :charac2:

I can't believe that we're finally in the 30s!!!

It's going to be SO much fun!!! It can't get here fast enough for me!

Well, we're off to church, then we're meeting my aunt, uncle (who live about 2 hours south of us) and my cousin (who flew in from Chicago) for lunch. We're meeting in Ellenton, which is about 1/2 way in between us. I might have to see if I can get Chris to let me go shopping in the outlet mall while we're there. :rotfl2:

Everyone must be busy today. Caught us ready to fall off to page 2. That won't do!

Hi Guys and Gals... I have been gone for the last week and I have a lot of catching up to do with you guys. I have just returned from my 7 day Western Caribbean cruise on the Magic and it was fabulous.... I cried when we pulled away from Castaway Cay because I knew that meant that I had to get off the ship the very next AM.... :guilty: Such a baby I guess.... :confused3

Now I am more ready than ever to get to our cruise in October.... I have such a busy year ahead of me.. The cruise that I was just on, a trip to WDW for a wedding planning session, the members cruise and then My Disney Wedding in January 07' (Ofiical put in the books during our cruise for Jan. 14, 2007 @ 2:30 PM) :bride: ... I am sooooo excited... :cheer2:

Well I guess that it will be here before we know it.... :cool1: This cruise I was just on, they were really nice to DVC members and made us feel special with the members meeting and the door magnets that of course said DVC members Welcom Home.. It was a nice cute touch.. THey'll need a lot of magnets in October.... :Pinkbounc

Were you given the magnets or were they waiting on your door for you? Did you book on points? On the last member cruise they had those waiting for us on every door!

Hey there! Looks like a quiet day on the thread. I haven't been on really since chat Friday nite.
Thanks once again for the Birthday wished for DS Nick.
On Saturday we had scouts and the boys finished another requirement for another pin towards advancement. That evening we took Nick out to dinner at Red Robin (he loves the bottomless fries). We got his meal free from a coupon and they sang Happy Birthday to him and gave him a Birthday Sundae!
This morning we had the Grandparents over for Brunch. I made a quiche and Mickey Waffles (no creme brulle french toast, maybe next time) and we had a Carvel Party Roll (Nick chose that over a cake). He got a Nintendo DS game from Jeff's Mom and art supplies from my parents.
All in all we had a nice weekend, some crazy weather at one point yesterday but it was short lived!

:sail: I'm SOOO Excited!!! 39 weeks and counting! Woo Hoo!!! :sail:

They were placed on our door late in the evening on the first night. That same night there was a knock on the door and they delivered us a DVC packet with an invite to a members meet. There were also the pink and Blue member lanyards. It was just nice to be recognized... We did book on points for the trip so that is probably how they knew. We loved it.... Now I just can't wait to get on that ship for our first DVC members cruise.... We didn't get in last year and we were leaving to head back to NC from WDW the same day you guys were heading off to Port Canaveral... It was sad..... Not this year though... :cheer2:

Good morning everyone! Chat was fun last night. I don't know how much talking we did about DVC but it is always fun to get together with friends. :)

Good morning. :sunny:

Did I miss anything leaving early?

Friday nights are easy to hang around and chat forever. Sunday nights are harder, making sure the kids are all ready for school Monday and all.

Maybe we should just vote to cancel Monday's and then I can always stay as late as I want in Sunday night chat! pixiedust:

I left no too long after you did. I had to watch Grey's Anatomy without any distractions. I'm so addicted to television.

I didn't stay much longer either! Had to get lunches ready and get to bed early.

It was great talking to you guys last night!

I left right after 9. I was beat and no offense but really felt out of most of the conversation. Since a lot of it was about day care, toilet training etc. That's how chat is sometimes and it goes off in different directions. Last night was just not one I could get into much. :)

Good Morning All,

I'm on the desk today so watching the board and waiting for the phone to ring.

Speaking of Sunday night TV, NBC announced - West Wing cancelled at the end of the season :sad1: :furious:

Moving it to Sunday killed it... According to the news story the decision was made before John Spencer died (don't believe it). O well that leave me ONE show that I set the VCR (no landline - so no TiVO).

Morning 2cents worth :surfweb:

While I will be sad to see the West Wing go I can honestly say I haven't watched it much in the last year. The who prelim story line just didn't interest me. In fact I kind of stopped watching when Leo (John Spencer) had his heart attack. The whole show seemed to go downhill once they took him out of the picture. I have the first 5 seasons on DVD and I'm sure I'll get the others.

I agree about the West Wing. I haven't watched it this season hardly at all. I was so good for so long, and then it just started a downward spiral. I saw the story on the news this morning and they said they would tell us who won the election and somehow write John Spencers death in. I'm hoping that they let Josh be the VP.
