Hey guys - I'm glad to hear that you northerners are getting some nice weather. It sure does help a little to break up the nastiness of winter.

In about 1/2 hour, I'm headed to the airport with the girls. Then, we're off to Norfolk to visit my sister and her family. I'll try to pop on from her house once in a while, and I might even make it to chat on Friday night (if only for a little bit).

Well, guys I will have to say Have a Good Weekend early! We are flying out in the morning for Disneyland. My 36th Birthday is tomorrow and DD will be 9 at the end of the month. So, we are celebrating Birthdays this trip. I will be back online Tuesday!

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone has a great day. Going to be 50 here in Chicago today - very unusual for this time of year but we won't complain!

We are having the same awesome weather here. Too bad I have this nasty cold and can't go out and enjoy it!

Temps are supposed to get into the low 60's here today....bright and sunny. It figures since tomorrow DD and I are getting in her little Neon and driving to WDW. The weatherman says rain all day tomorrow. She reports for the college program on Monday, so hopefully we'll have good weather then to move her into her apartment.

When we were at WDW in December we were talking to a couple of kids in the college program that worked at the store at OKW. I think it would be alot of fun to do the college program there!

Are you going to get to stay a bit when you get down there or do you have to come right back?

Noticed on your countdown we made it under 70 days.

Joe wants to know if you are coming down the end of this month? He said you can use the sofa bed. I think he is wanting someone to ride the roller coaster with him.

Glad to hear everyone is having some nice weather. I know I am planning on getting outside and doing some painting on some outdoor items. The sun felt so good when I was driving to Michaels. Can you believe they don't have a framing special this week. Wanted to get the DVC members litho framed, but guess I will wait and try next week.

I mentioned it to John about going down there the end of the month for the preview of EE and he looked at me like I had 3 heads. I did find airfare for $129, but I would have to fly down on a Thursday and come back the following Thursday.......now, I don't see that as a problem, but I'm having a hard time convincing John that it's a good idea.

This is one of those times you grab friend and go on down. I think $129 is great airfare--atleast from here it would be.

But, at least we have a flight. I was starting to worry that we might have to drive after all.

Slight change of plans. We originally were going to fly out Sunday and return Saturday. Now we are flying out Thursday and returning Thursday -- USA3000. I had no idea it would be so hard to get a flight during the last week of March. And, I'm certainly not accustomed to paying $1200 for the 4 of us. Apparently, we are not the only ones on Spring Break. It might work out to our advantage being their Thursday, Friday and Saturday as maybe not as many people will be going early.

The good news is we have a flight -- a lot more costly than Spirit ever was and no luck using our credit voucher from them. I'm so going to miss their O'Hare/Orlando flights.

But all is good. I was able to change our reservation to be Thursday to Thursday. Points and cash on Saturday night. And, we'll be in the same resort/room for our stay -- I was worried that we'd have to change resorts but it did work out.

Just a big getting there.

We should arrive sometime on Saturday. It's a 15 hour drive from our place to WDW, so we're going to take two days to get there, as neither one of us is a good long-distance driver. I plan to stay until Monday. Her best friend from high school is currently a full-time CM, so we're just going to bunk in her apartment. She has the day off on Sunday, so maybe we'll do something fun with her!


Cindy--glad to hear that you found airfare. I remember trying to find air fare about 5 years ago for that last week of March. We started looking in OCTOBER and it was all ready getting crazy! We're arriving on Sunday, March 26, staying at VWL, so maybe we can get together sometime after that.

Just canceled Boardwalk for Easter week.(our spring break )We are going in Feb. for a week any way. Going to Vero Beach the end of June instead! Then a 7 day cruise the week after! The year is getting to be very busy!

We will be there and Dale & Karen are coming in on that friday to do the EE special. We leave on the Saturday for the cruise but if you could talk John into it we would be thrilled to have you hang with us

Oh great now I have help egging me on to go The airfare is the best I've seen from Detroit in a long time.

I probably would do it except I just got back from a two week trip there at Christmas and I'm meeting my sister (scrappy910) for a week at WDW the end of March. I guess I will just suck it up and spend the time getting excited about my March trip. Oh, I don't need to do that - I'm already geeked about the March trip

Will you be flying in on 3/23 and leaving 3/30? Those are the dates Gail and I will be doing our girls trip to WDW. That would be great to "meet" you. Although, I did see you at Pleasure Island in September before the last members cruise. (your boys were the ones sliding through the water puddles right?)

Steve, I will keep an eye out for you and Colleen and Dale and Karen. It will give my dh a chance to meet the shy people he will be dining with in October.

Glad you were able to find a flight out. Is that Thursday the 23rd of March? If so, that's the day I'm flying in - we might get to meet at the airport again
