I'm thinking I missed a little party at Dian's house last night! party:

Chocolate Martinis! Yummy Yum Yum! :drinking1

Cute pictures of Ian. Isn't always the way with the little one when you bring them to a professional shoot. No smiles then boom your walking out the door and it's sunshine city and the pearly whites are showing. :teeth:

It wasn't at my house, it was at a friends. If I want to drink in peace, I need to go elsewhere. :lmao:

Robin, Ian is adorable! Don't even get me started on the smiling in pictures though.....Julia isn't much of a smiler, she does this "ooooo" face and that's about as close to smiling for pics as she get. And I won't even go into the fact that having both of them make a halfway decent face for a photo together is completely impossible. :sad2:

Cute pictures of Ian!!! I also have those moments attempting to get smiles. Sometimes Madison gives us this dumb-founded look that makes her look like she's on something.

Robin, not only did my kids not want to smile for the camera, but it seemed like when they got to be about Ian's age, it never failed, I'd make the appointment and they would fall and bump their head. Then I would reschedule the appointment only to have it happen again. With Walker, his 2 year old picture shows a nice goose egg on his head. But I guess the picture truly captured his personality at the time.

Chocolate martini's......hmmmm, I'll have to try one of those. The only martini's I'm familiar with are the ones my Mom use to drink that smelled like gasoline. :rotfl2: Maybe come October I'll have to try one on the cruise. :cool1: I have to say the drinks we drank on the cruise were wonderful and I'm not a big drinker by any means. They just went down so easy -- especially those konk koolers.

I have Cameron's costume for tomorrow. :cheer2: :cheer2: They are working on this huge Colonist project and tomorrow is the presentation. Cameron is going to be a farmer from the 1700's.

I was really worried about getting it. Not about taking the kids, but about running into this snow storm they are predicting for us. It's still a winter storm warning out there -- however, by my house, it's only flurrying occassionally. There is absolutely nothing sticking to any surface. :confused3

Watch, now we'll get hit hard over night and they will cancel school for tomorrow. :sad2: Then I'll have to return the costume on Saturday. :sad2: I can see this Mom begging the costume shop to let us keep it until early next week if that happens. I'll gladly pay the extra, I just hope no one else is counting on the pieces for next week. :faint:

Transportation question for the Cruise:

Our good friends have offered (ok sort of demanded) to pick us up from the port once we arrive back from the cruise. They will then take us to the courthouse to get our license and back to WDW. This saves us the $$ from paying for 4 days of the rental car as well as 4 days of parking.

What options do you suggest we use to get to the ship? How much does the Disney transportation run? What about a limo service - suggestions, recommendations, pricing?

Trust me these do NOT NOT NOT taste like gasoline!! On SSMC05 they had a martini sampler tray thingy offered one night. Of course I didn't make it there because I didn't want to go by myself. This year, I'll drag Cindy with me!

Here we are, once again this year, same thing happened last year.....why do I always look like the big drinker of the group? :drinking1 Remember I was the one who did not get a konk kooler on SSMC05.

We (OK, I) looked into the limo vs transfers last year and the break even point for round trip was 4 people. If you are looking for the least expensive way, DCL transfers will most likely be your best bet. Last year it cost us $100 roundtrip b/c the girls were both free. It was $25 pp each way. I'm thinking the price is now $30 pp each way now for some reason though. We had absolutely no problem with the DCL tranfers going to the port (mind you, Dan was not our bus driver for that trip!) the only downside I saw was that all my friends were getting to the port at the crack of dawn and my bus didn't leave until 11:30 or 11:45 so I missed the fun at the port. We were on the ship at 1, so it really wasn't a big deal and Stacy even managed to save some shrimp for us. But if you get the transfers and Dan pulls up to pick you guys up---RUN!!! RUN FAR FAR AWAY!!!! :lmao:

Don't feel bad, Cindy, I never tried a martini either. Some day, I will, and maybe it will be SSMC06?!?!?!?!? I just always thought that they would be really dry, and I hate dry wines. But, then I keep seeing things like chocolate martinis and appletinis, and they sound SO tasty!!

I see a ladies night out on board for the Martini samplers on SSMC06!!! :thumbsup2

It looks like I made the right decision to go get Cameron's costume early.

It's snowing like a blizzard outside for the last 1/2 hour or so. Already starting to accummulate. And, best plan is we have NO plans for tonight! So, we can just hang out at home and stay off the roads. And, by the time Gary gets out of work about 10 tonight, things should be looking pretty good! :thumbsup2

Don't worry about not getting a konk kooler Diana, I saw Cindy at CC and she had enough for the two of you! :rotfl2: Her first one wasn't even gone and she had the second one in her other hand ready to go! They are very good!

I haven't tried any martini's either, but a chocolate martini sounds really good!

I think we should make plans to do the Martini sampler night! Diana can be our leader :cheer2:

Wait until you see me in October......I'm going to have an entire tray of them. No waiting for a second/third/forth...... :teeth:

WOO HOO Martini night!

We did the beer tasting in SSMC05 and had a blast - plus they were giving away prizes for answering questions. It was very cool.

Thanks for the info on the bus ride Diana - I certainly hope Dan's not the regular driver. Did you have to do anything with your luggage?

Ooh I hope the roads clear quickly as my sister works waaaaaaaaaaaay out in the burbs and lives near Wrigley (ok 3 blocks away). Ugh that's going to be yucky. Cindy so glad you went this morning.

I have big news!! Dana got the internship at WDW!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
She will be working as a Communication Planner (whatever that is). She doesn't know yet exactly where she will be working, but one of the places she could possibly work is in the MK. I'll keep you updated when we know for sure. She will be working there from June 14-Jan. 3, 2007, so assuming that we have a pre-cruise meet, maybe she'll be able to join us. (Sorry, honey, there's no more room on the boat!)

After sampling martinis, I'm not sure how many questions I could answer, except the answer to "Would you like another martini?" :lmao:

For SSMC05 we went from POR to the port. The night before we got a note on our door to have our luggage ready by whatever time and the dude came and picked it up. We didn't see our luggage again until it was delivered to our cabin. For SSMC03, we went directly from MCO to the port and we checked our luggage in Albany and didn't see our luggage again until it got to our cabin. We didn't have any problems either time.

That is awesome news!! Congrats Dana!! It must have been all that pixie dust sent her way! :wizard:
