I have big news!! Dana got the internship at WDW!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
She will be working as a Communication Planner (whatever that is). She doesn't know yet exactly where she will be working, but one of the places she could possibly work is in the MK. I'll keep you updated when we know for sure. She will be working there from June 14-Jan. 3, 2007, so assuming that we have a pre-cruise meet, maybe she'll be able to join us. (Sorry, honey, there's no more room on the boat!)

Woohoo, Dana!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:  :cheer2: :cheer2:

the only downside I saw was that all my friends were getting to the port at the crack of dawn and my bus didn't leave until 11:30 or 11:45 so I missed the fun at the port.
If you really want to get to the port early enough for the fun, you could rent a car and return it when you get to Port Canaveral. That's what we did on the last cruise. We rented from Budget. They are just down the road from the port, and they have a shuttle that will take you back to the boat.

This worked out great for us. When we got into port at Ft. Lauderdale, we took the bus to the airport, and got a car from Budget there and we didn't have to endure DAN!

Mary, Congratulations to your dd on the internship. :Pinkbounc

That is really cute! I like the Hamentashen costume!!

What does your congregation do for Purim? This year our Purim was a musical based on Mamma Mia.

-Cheryl
We actually didn't go where we belong this year. I found their services, even for the kids, to be boring and disorganized last year. Since Ian is aware of what's going on now we decided to go to another synogogue where they had the preschool staff act out the story for the little ones (0-5yrs.) then they paraded through the main sanctuary before their megila reading. After that we checked out the carnival. Get this though, the only hamentashen in the building was Ian!

None to eat. :(

How was your musical? I bet it was a lot of fun, sure would like to have seen it!

no Hamantashen to eat! Our congregation may have had some during the Purim Carnival I don't know. We also did a debate Latke vs Hamantashen then got to eat both efter.

Well the snow is over and if you have to have snow this is a good one to have. Big fat flakes. Heavy wet snow that has stuck to all the trees and looks beautiful. The best part....the streets and sidewalks were warm enough that the snow didn't stick. Pretty nice. They are still out salting, but no need to plow.

We (OK, I) We were on the ship at 1, so it really wasn't a big deal and Stacy even managed to save some shrimp for us.:lmao:

Your lucky my tummy was doing flip flops from all the excitement or ALL the Shrimp would have been gone, Yum! :lmao:

Ok I second or third or what ever number the idea to do a Martini tasting for Julies Bachlorette party......I wonder if we can book a stripper, do you think Disney could do that for us?! :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: (just kidding....not!)

Mary - Congrats to Dana!!! Can't wait to hear what a "Communication Planner" does.

Cindy - Looks like you made a good choice in going out early to pick up Cameron's costume. I swear the weather has been crazy everywhere lately.

Congrats to your daughter.. I am so jealious... In College I tried twice to get one of the internships through Disney at UNC-G and I never got one.... :sad2: I hear that they are a wonderful experience and I know she will have a great time...

So I did some snooping and found out that our favorite person
Dee Vee Cee is "related" to MGM Streetmosphere Gossip Columnist Chloe Canard.

Soo if anyone misses her like we do, she can be seen on the streets of Hollywood in MGM.

It looked pretty much like this about 1 hour after it started. Perfect for rolling into big, giant snowman snowballs!

And, here's Cameron looking like that 1700's farmer. He has to wear his costume to school tomorrow. This is what he'll look like -- although he's going to be wearing black dress shoes. And, that WDW rifle in the background is staying home.

Great pictures Cindy. Walker looks like he is having fun in the snow. Cameron makes a very nice farmer from the 1700's except tell him he needs shoes before he goes out into the fields. :lmao:

Adorable pictures, Cindy!!! However, I'm glad that snow stays up north!!! :rotfl2: Cameron looks great too! Very authentic looking!!
