Was it a 2 county??? Bummer I was waiting for the new lic plates, also you can see below we added to our Nation reforestation of prarie. LOL

Busy day yesterday:

Morning run was 7.5 miles with a solid 12 Min Mile pace. I am feeling good about the DL ½.

Went to the local Farmers Mkt, and picked up 4 trees, and 6 six shrubberies, ( got extra shrubberies in the event we run into a Knight that says Nik…) got those puppies planted and staked out. Ya gotta stake them with supports or they will blow away. We also got some nice produce and bread.

The Extreme Makeover crew is here in Cheyenne this week, doing a place about a mile up the road from us. They are rebuilding a house and adding a kennel, it is for a private critter rescue shelter. KEWL!!!!, If they use the opening scene they were filming at the Farmers Mkt, my pick up might be in the opening. Wonder if it is worth more, Look for the maroon ¾ ton ext cab, Dodge, with a Mickey Antenna Topper.

I was going to make Fish Tacos for diner last night but friends called and we went out for a great burger.

I have work today in Denver and Lynn can go with me so we will make a day of it, thinking about trying to get to the Denver Zoo.

Getting cooler here so it might be heading east to you all folks east of us.

12 minute mile for 7 1/2 miles. Wow! I would have trouble doing 12 minutes for 1 mile.

Were any of those shrubs Huckleberries?

Guess where I was today!!! NO, it is NOT our addition!!!! But this IS the reason we don't have shingles this week!!! They are using the same roofers we are!!

This is the week we were supposed to go on the Freedom of the Seas cruise....guess they are all having a great time, and the captain steered them away from Dean!!!

Back from Hawaii- gee, I think I'd like to move there. We had such a wonderful time. I am trying to get the blog updated and all of the photos downloaded- should be done by the weekend.

Scott- I have not so wonderful memories of throwing up in Denver.... Did you post a photo of your pseudo DCL bow tattoo- or did I miss it?

Celeste....Simba actually brings my tattoo count to 5.

My left ankle has a black swirl Mickey on the outside and the DCL logo on the inside, my right ankle has a coloured outline of Mickey on the outside and Simba on the inside and I have Dory on my upper back.

Did you get your tattoo while you were in Hawaii or are you going to get it closer to home???

Good Morning All,

Training Report for 082507 morning:

Lynn – 6 miles at a 15 min pace. (She can edit for exact #’s as she is in the shower)

Scott – 10.65 miles, time 2:13.02 min, pace 12:29, Calories 1722. Look out DL Here we come!!!

I scored a Nike + Ipod, a sensor attaches to your shoe, and keeps track of your work out, a very nice lady tells me my time, distance, and pace, when I press the button. $29 not bad and it works well, tested it against Lynn Garmin Forunner, yesterday and they were very very close, like .001 difference.

Looks to be a nice day here, hope you guys in the mid west get some heat and rain relief.

Off to the Farmers Mkt, there is a bakery that is on par with the best patisseries I have found in France and Epcot. I deserve a Ham and Cheese Croissant. Will fill the thermos with Tanzania coffee, time for a shower.

We'll be heading down to WDW for Labor Day.

After a cool week, the heat has returned and for company, brought the humidity along with it!

It will be hard to say good by to summer, so I'll enjoy the heat while it's here.

We put up the autumn wreaths on our doors this weekend.

Hello All!!
Finally surfacing from all the insanity.... and to let you all know

IT'S A BOY!!!

Yes, we are having a GRANDSON! OMG I can hardly wait. I already have so much Disney stuff bought that it's not funny.
Bridezilla and Prince Charming wasted no time and we just found out last Friday that the baby is a boy. Little Mickey is what I call him... but Mamazilla doesn't really care for that....
Working like crazy and saving up the OT for baby stuff... and the INFANT TRAVEL SYSTEM that I promised to provide... it's no longer a STROLLER.... So much has changed in baby stuff in the last 27 years... go figure!
What the heck is a Boppy????
Don't forget to let me know if you're coming to WDW... I'm here now.... yipppeee!
Mini Cruise planned for 9/13...... I need a DCL FIX!

Congratulations Leslie!!! Don't worry about Mamazilla...the name will grow on her.

The Travel Systems rule. That's the best way to go until Little Mickey is big enough for a lightweight umbrella-type stroller. We bought a Graco and an extra base so we could take her carrier from car to car if we needed to without needing to buy extra car seats. She was able to stay in that until she reached 20 pounds and could be turned around.

A Boppy is a U-shaped pillow. It is probably one of the only things we are still using from when she was born. It's like duct tape and bungee cords - there are unlimited uses for them. I think the intended purpose is for moms to be able to wear on top of her lap while she's feeding so her arms don't get tired holding the baby up. I ended up sleeping upright like that a few times in the early days when she only slept if I held her.

Once she started bottle feeding and holding the bottle on her own, we laid her in the Boppy as a way to keep her head upright and from letting her roll over.

Let me know if you need any advice on the crazy gadgets and gizmos out there now. I feel like we've gone through most of them.

Congratulations again! When is the due date? Does he have his Annual Pass voucher yet?
