I bought (for Cash, cause he got WAY too big for the passenger seat in the little Del Sol) a white, with swirley graphic in gray, Toyota Scion xB...the box on wheels with a face only a Mother could love....YAYYY, room for my dogs and room for my scooter!

Ugly car, ugly car! But I'm keeping the DS because it's so cute with the top off....

Well we got the New car on friday,(our sons 20th Birthday) that I was talking about last week on this thread Honda Jazz and I had been trying to post a picture ever since and have just worked it out.I havent been able to work out how to resize picture though.The car dealer put balloons in the car and the car was at the front of the showroom when we picked it up ,was a great day.

Congratulations on the new vehicle (I think) - We don't have the Toyota Scion xB here in Canada so I have no idea what you're taking about (box on wheels).

Can't wait to meet everyone on the cruise. It's getting close now.

Scion.com, or Toyota.com, should get you a look at the Scion Xb, ugliest car on 4 wheels and its brother, a not bad looking, but cramped for a scooter, Xa.

Only 30 days until I arrive at WDW for the cruise... woo-hoo!

However, I need to send out a plea for help.
I know there was mention of bringing girl scout cookies onboard. If anyone has extra boxes of girl scout cookies, I'm looking to buy a box of Thin Mints and a box of Samoas. I didn't realize I needed them until a couple of weeks ago and I left a message at the local girl scout chapter office but haven't gotten a return phone call yet.

Please help!
I'm assuming I'll be able to take them off the ship when we get to CA if they're unopened, correct?

Right.....well, that is, I've not had trouble with unopened baby bags of dog food...but then I didn't see a single inspector that I could identify as having a hidden urge to snack on confiscated kibble...

Just got back from the oral surgeon. Complete right side of my head is numb, including the throat, ear and temple area. Had teeth pulled and discussed implants but decided not to go that route. Many $$'s involved. So just adding teeth to the partial already there.

Just what I need at this time. Am going to sleep most of the day in the recliner and do nothing but watch TV and movies. Other thngs can wait..... and wait ............. and wait

Less than 30 days and we are off on the high seas. How exciting... that deserves a dancing banana

Our son has a Scion xB. Has had it for about a year. He is 6'7" and believe it or not, the xB is one of the few small cars that had enough head room for him.

Got an email from Delta this morning that they changed our return flight. Bumped it up and hour and now we leave at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 28 to come home. How depressing is that?

Got an email from Delta this morning that they changed our return flight. Bumped it up and hour and now we leave at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 28 to come home. How depressing is that?

You aren't staying in DL any?? Bummer.

If Delta were to change our flight, I would stay a day or two more. But if no change, it is ok. We don't leave for FL until 10:3 pm on Saturday from LAX - gives us time to go to LA to the Farmer's Market next to CBS.

Can you believe it!!! ONE MONTH! I HAD to take some time off today to really start organizing and quit playing with my cutsie stuff

Just got notified that our 05/31 flight will leave at 1:00 instead of 2:00. Might not sound too bad, but when you're trying to cram DL into 2 days every hour counts. I would have wished they had bumped it the other way, and left at 3:00!!!

Sorry about your flight, bonzie! I got tired of US Air moving my flight every week - my reservation had so many changes listed I didn't know which flight time was real. They (thankfully) refunded my money and I reboooked on JetBlue, which allows me to schlep 70lbs more of stuff (3 bags!)

DD received a "pass it on" postcard yesterday! She was very excited about it.

The postcard was Mickey & Minnie on the bow of the Magic. They signed the front and wrote a nice note, too!

I love this stuff!!!

Our flight leaves exactly 4 weeks from today!!!!!! I can't believe how close it is now!!!

Laurie, how exciting for you DD! That's great. I will often secretly pick out Disney cards, then send them to DH about a week before we leave, just to help with the excitement. He always comes home grinning!

I sure am feeling the pressure to get the blinky flippy thingies! Sounds like a great excuse to venture to Walmart this weekend...

We have the Jimmy Buffet concert on Saturday! So excited, . It's a great build-up for the trip, since his music is so relaxing and caribbean feeling. I've been listening to his CD's at work for the last two days!

Jamie is performing at DL and we will be there May 5-8. I tried to talk DH into staying after the cruise for Memorial Day weekend, but he wants to get home to see Jamie after being gone for so long and I couldn't see spending more $$ to have her fly to California when she will have just been at DL for 4 days.

If I knew we wouldn't spend anything on the cruise................well, then, that's another story..........................

I GOT AN UNEXPECTED BONUS TODAY!!!!

We came through our audit with flying colors, the best we have ever done and the CEO gave me a bonus! I'll give it to myself on next payroll April 30, just in time for the cruise!!!! She had a meeting with me this morning and told me how valuable I am to this organization. It was all about ME!!!!

Anyway, guess she can survive for two weeks without me after all. I guess now is as good a time as any to put in that vacation slip for two more days off for May 5 and 6. Catch her while she is in a good mood!

I am very ready to get this trip going and then I want it to never end, a Groundhog Day kinda thing would that be nice.

Ok, I know this has been discussed over and over and over on the main boards, but I thought I would ask here.

I was thinking of packing and trying to decide what my DS9 will wear to dinner every night. Do you think it is necessary for him to wear long pants every night? Or will 'nice' shorts and polo be fine. Of course, the formal, semi-formal and nights we go to the show in the theater will be long pants. But, I'm thinking of allowing him to wear nice shorts and a polo on nights he heads out to the lab. My DD6 will be wearing skorts and sandals most of the time. Sounds like a easy compromise.

Any thoughts? If DCL has lightened to allow jeans(yikes!) in the dining room, I'm thinking he will be fine in the nice shorts and polo.
