I read in "The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland" that since there is only 20 seats on the balcony Disney opened up a second area that is near Tom Sawyer's Island Raft Dock and it comes with boxed desserts. Did it cost about the same as the Dessert Buffet? If so, this may be what you got.

Georgie, I'm the Queen of planning (my family calls it OCD). As soon as I found out we were staying for a few days at Disneyland, I went to the bookstore and checked online for Disneyland books...I think I have 4 now. I've read through 2 completely and will spend the flight down to the cruise reading the Birnbaum Disneyland book and hopefully I'll find some time on the cruise to read the other. I need to know what not to miss!!! I say you can never plan too much!!!

I am off to drown my sorrow with a diet orange slice..(yea I know it sounds gross but it tastes great) and early to bed tonight. Tomorrow is another day, the sun will come out, and all that junk...

WOW, It sounds like there is really some celebrating going on tonight! Everyone who got their doc's today get in the conga line and cheer! Soon we can all dance and sing together! Won't that be a sight to see? Nobody will know what we're doing, but we sure will! Shall we have a special online meet when the last person gets theirs, or will too many be gone from home by then?

Congratulations to all of you who received your documents today

I did call Disney about mine, and they gave me a tracking number. They only just shipped yesterday! (well so much for what the guy said earlier about them shipping on Tuesday, mind you this is the same guy who gave me the "letter" line) I did ask for him personally, but they were all in a meeting. I didn't want to bother the poor girl who was filling in. My docs just arrived in Secaucus NJ at 7:30 tonight. Hey Georgie is that close to you? Just kidding, they are due to be delivered on Tuesday.

I was all set to call at 11:00 for Fantasmic, and right before 11:00, I got a very difficult customer on the phone who kept me on the line until 11:15. I tried to call anyway, and the line was busy. I guess I will join the "mint julip" crowd far in left field for the viewing.


Hopefully our pins will be shipped to me by fedex next week. At least the ones that were re-done. Please eveyone pray they get here in good condition, and on time

I'd ALMOST forgotten about the green jello thing... My mom always made it with shredded carrots, pineapple and cottage cheese... and I hated it!

Ahhh....Utah. Where jello desserts somehow morph into salads. My mom actually made the green jello with fruit cocktail and cottage cheese- and believe it or not I was craving it last week.

Hello, My name is Celeste- I am a former jello addict.
I am proud to say that I have been green jello free for over ten years now. But, I'm still having a hard time with the red stuff.

(jigglers....yummy. All the concentrated jello flavor-black cherry flavored)
This is bad, I'm salivating.


More Utah food:
Rolls, esp. from Hotel Utah or Lion House....
Funeral potatoes---DOUBLE yum.
Drive through scone places- I've never seen those anywhere but Utah. (I don't really like these, but they are specific to Utah)
Spaghetti Factory.
Sunday Brunch at Grand or Little America
Breakfast at Ruth's Diner- overlooking the mountains....That makes me want to come home- and the Utah college of massage therapy.



Have I told you I've drempt about eating chocolate souffle....better run on the treadmill again!

We'll be in the parking lot after being yelled at a few times by port security by 9:30. We'll be stopping at a 7-11 on the way there for provisions for waiting (snacks and drinks). We'll also have Jeff's laptop for movies and such. Whoever is there with us is more than welcome to wait, we'll make up line buddies and such.

We will also be attending the parking lot party close as we can to 9:30. I might dump Aimee with the tons of luggage and go return the rental car and shuttle it back over.

Now you've got me salivating! Those Hotel Utah hard rolls are to die for! My son worked there last year as a greeter and got to take them home after work. His wife sure likes them... And Ruth's diner! I'd forgotten about that...

If you're missing scones, come by my house, I still make them once in a while. Utah scones, fried bread dough, butter, homemade jam... you know the stuff! I raised my sons on them, now they make them for their wives!

I got Noah's tux today- and I have to send it back for a bigger size.

I also got my Disney swimsuit- which is too big- now I don't dare order another, without trying it on....

I also got my reliefbands- Robb and Noah may head over to six flags this weekend, where Robb will try them out....I'll post how they work.

I keep on getting tons of stuff from UPS- just not my documents.
