I was just looking on the Curacao website and saw that there will be another cruise ship arriving with us on the 18th. Adventure of the Seas. The port schedule shows the Magic arriving at 6:30 am and Adventure of the Seas arrives at 7:00am.

Will that add a lot of traffic for us around Curacao?

Hmm...something we noticed on the 10-day cruise - the Magic does what the Magic wants. We showed up in ports when we wanted, got the best bearthings, and left when we were ready to leave. It was actually pretty cool! It is truly a Wonder...

Mikimous - I agree, nothing better than standing on deck watching other cruise passenger reactions when the Magic sounds her horn... Everyone cheers and waves.

You got me too. I was thinking "Cuba, we can't visit Cuba??" It doesn't help that I didn't see it until the day after April Fool's Day.

The local morning DJ tricked listeners into believing a shipwreck had surfaced on the Hudson River and that gold coins and jewels were washing up on the shore. Suckers...........

HAPPY SATURDAY MORNING KINGDOM TO KINGDOM CRUISERS!!

ONLY SIX MORE WEEKS UNTIL WE CRUISE!

The Magic is in port, and she's looking good with all her lights on! The only cruise ship visable on the cam right now.

For me.........another Saturday morning wide awake at 5:15 a.m. It has to be my cruising message I need to post that wakes me up so early every Saturday! Oh well....already got a load of laundry in and I am headed into work shortly to get some "cookie" stuff done.

Now, if I can only automatically wake up this early on the ship each day. I bet if I have a "lifeboat suite" like Scott I would be able to do it. Wanna trade?

I'm seriously contemplating renting tux for DH so I don't have to haul 10 more pounds of clothing and shoes across the country and back. I figure the good deal on the tux rental is because they want them in California for the summer and this way they won't have to ship as many out there to their temporary warehouse.

My Mom just told me to look outside....we're having a blizzard!!!!!!!!!

Okay this is not funny......it is not supposed to snow in April......I washed and vacuumed my car this week and got all the "grime" off of it.

I put on the weather network and they're saying we're going to get between 25 - 35 cm but by Thursday it is going to be sunny and 13 (opps that's celsius, so about 56 fahrenheit). This is just not right.

I HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

At this time in 6 weeks, Mom & I will probably be on a plane heading to Orlando!!!!!! I can't wait to finally meet all you guys!!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Just think... 6 weeks from today we will be standing in line getting ready to board the MAGIC and set sail on our wonderful adventure! I get excited just thinking about it!

Today the luggage table gets set up and the suitcases come out! I already have a small box in the corner with "cruise stuff" in it... but now we can start to get serious! It's an ugly rainy day at the moment so no better time to get started!

Sorry for the intrusion, but Hello DISers! Help me out here, I'm looking for a webcam so I can view the Disney Wonder/Magic when its docked at San Pedro California aka: Los Angeles California Harbor. I've searched under various names on the WWW, but have not found an active real time web cam of the cruise port. I even searched the local new stations websites and couldn't find any web cams there. I think due to 9/11 a lot of the web cams in the Los Angeles area have been deactivated due to security reasons.

Do you know of any real time web cams for the West Coast cruisers?

In the spirit of everyone else's kudos, great gag.
However......
knowing what day it was, I always check the status bar (at the bottom of the browser window) to see where I am heading. When it didn't say anything remotely close to disney or cruise, I smelled 7 day old fish.
One of my fellow parrotheads tried the old "Jimmy's retiring" thing also.
I am always a little more skeptical on 4/1.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Still Feel That DISNEY CRUISE LINE : Will alter the Route.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.
