I am definately a little dense on this scrapbook thing. Here goes with the questions:

Are the scrapbook class and the exchange the same thing? If you are signed up for one are you signed up for both?

For the exchange, is it one bag containing $20 worth of stuff you randomly swap with one person or do you bring multiple small items equalling $20 that you would give one to each person of each item?

Are they all supposed to be disney scrapbook things (I don't even know what to call them!)?

:confused3

I swear computers and scrapbooking are both foreign languages to me! :earboy2:

Hi Emily,

You sign up for the class with SEAULATER and let me know if you want to join in the gift swap for scrapbooking . The value $ 20.00 for one bag. People will draw #'s and then choose a gift bag A lot of people are creating "Disney theme" gift bag, however you can do what ever you please...This will be some time during the class or before the class or at the end, what ever works best...

Hi!

The scrapbook exchange and the scrapbook class will be hald at the same time. You can come to the class without participating in the swap. From what I've heard already, it will be a LOT of FUN! :Pinkbounc

I've never scrapbooked before, and will be at the class. I'm also participating in the swap. I included some Disney things, but concentrated more on the theme of travel and the cruise... a little of both. The swap is just supposed to be for fun, so don't sweat too much over it! ;)

Just bring one swap bag containing items totaling $20. We will swap with one person.

Sure hope I answered all those questions right...

Seaulater! Help add any corrections or more info! :wave2:

If anyone plans to visit the aquarium in Curacao you can get two free admissions by requesting info at this site:

Brochure request

We were planning to do this on our own, not through DCL, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the admission voucher. Now we have a few extra $$$ for gin and tonics! :drinking1

Is anyone else going horseback riding in Matazalan? (I don't know if I spelled that right) at Randi's Happy Horses? I know some of you were thinking about it, but said she sold out. She is doing two groups now because they had so many people!

Have a great April Fools Day everyone :thewave:

Kimberly

Kimberly: We are riding with Randi in Mazatlan. We're supposed to meet them at the terminal at 8:30am. :earseek: I wonder if there will be a day where I can sleep in??? :rotfl:

Nope, you guys are doing great. No corrections!

I've got the first two pages completed for the class and am now putting together the instructions and supplies for each person.

This weekend, I am hoping to put together the second set of pages. I've been brainstorming with myself and all the local scrapbook stores to come up with a different idea than the first and I think I just about have it figured out!

I was just looking on the Curacao website and saw that there will be another cruise ship arriving with us on the 18th. Adventure of the Seas. The port schedule shows the Magic arriving at 6:30 am and Adventure of the Seas arrives at 7:00am.

Will that add a lot of traffic for us around Curacao?

Just wanted to share this with anyone intersted in snorkeling in Curacao. We found this web site off the main Curacao web page www.curacao.com. We are going ot try it :flower: Sounds like fun and a good deal!

Is it my imagination or is the timing of Acapulco sliding? disneycruise.com now has guests on board by 9p.m. (I seem to recall something like a 7p.m. board at one point). Of course, we don't even get ashore until 10:15a. that day.. so perhaps that's the port day we can all sleep in a little.

re: AOS being in port with us at Curacao.. that's one of their 3000+ superliners... crowded? I'd say we'll definitely not feel like we have the town to ourselves. Here's hoping the Captain will out toot them. I laughed every time another boat would sound off their horn and the Magic would respond with the Wish Upon A Star chime.... definitely makes us stand out from the crowd!

Amy...I just checked the website. This sounds great! Especially after reading peoples comments. I may have to cancel my Sea Aquarium...should check with Prince Charming first :goodvibes
Thanks for sharing!

Yep, I don't think it will be a problem. Most of the ports we were in over Christmas had 3 or 4 cruise ships in with us. We were generally first ones in and last ones out! Except for Except for St. Lucia. It was the first time DCL had been there. We were the only ship and we got escorted in by a Pirate Ship that took us captive!! They even shot their cannons at us.

Thank you for posting the excursion information for Curacao Cinderelly516. All of the DCL sponsored excursions I wanted are sold out at this time. I have been looking for alternate excursions myself.
