We'll still bringing his black suit. My question... has anyone ever rented from onboard before? Were the measurements true to size? One more question... how about the White Dinner Jacker package... has anyone tried that one? I don't want him to end up looking like a waiter, but thought if we were already packing his black suit (along with a tux shirt, various cumberbunds + studs), maybe a white package would be a nice change of pace. (Plus, I'll never get him to wear a white jacket again...)

Guys, please help me out with this. DH will wear whatever I "put together" for him, but I don't want to lead him astray with this!

We rented the whole tux package for my three sons and DH for the millenium NYrs cruise. The white jacket is great - pictures taken at sunset on deck are beautiful. The sizes were true, we were very happy with the whole thing. You might have to ask your room attendant to deliver it, but they will take the whole package back once you are done with it, so it isn't clogging up your cabin closet.

Will try the Overstock.com. Looking for a American Tourister that will match everything else. That way it will look like everyone elses and I can't find it on the belts at the airport.

Beatiful day. 65º+ Tomorrow is going to be better.
I have only dealt with them once. Needed quick service on our GMC van. Got it. Must be good dealership. Been in business for over 50 years. The original DeFouw passed away a couple years ago.

No. We always drive down and park out in the boonies at the airport. So far, so good.

Well the weather here the last 2 days has sucked!!

The winds were very high, rain/sleet/snow.... but we got more packing done and lists made because... WE HAD NO POWER!!!!!!

Went out at 8 pm last night and came back on at 7 pm tonight. I was typing a post and POOF it went out again. But luckily only for a few minutes.

It's not really driving in LA...it's more like coasting. Foot on brake, foot off brake, coast.... Repeat. Repeat. I am planning to bring a few LA maps for those unfamiliar with driving in Southern California. I will do my best to help you navigate to your destination.

LOL, I was going to order parrot hats for Bob and I..I knew I should have done it.

Time for me to start packing also. I figure I will mail our boxes to the warehouse mid april. Can't wait. All of our little gifts have arrived, all I have to do is pack the gift bags and make the name tags. Yeah!

We picked up our favorite wine for sharing at the wine tasting last week..lol, bought a case..lol. Bob and the neighbor guy have it half gone already..guess I am going to have to hide it on them.

Hey Georgie. We did the full rental package for our first cruise, with the tux and the white dinner jacket. The measurements were pretty true. DH looked pretty good in them both, though I will warn you that he seemed to be the ONLY one in the white dinner jacket. You just don't see too many guys wearing them, so if your hubby gets uncomfortable being a standout in the crowd, I wouldn't do the white dinner jacket. Just a thought.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Still Feel That DISNEY CRUISE LINE : Will alter the Route.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.

Thanks Kara! Joe's come a long way since we've been married (especially being married to me... ) The things I've asked him to wear (all Disney themed of course!)

Thanks for the input about the jackets and sizes. I was really wondering if white dinner jacket would be sticking out and taking things to the limit! Thanks for confirming this for me! I'll let him know and see what he thinks!

We're both off tomorrow due to the flooding in the area, so we'll be able to concentrate on the cruise!
