Didn't I read somewhere on the DIS about where to get some sort of holder for the KTTW? I know that about half my pants I'm taking don't have pockets. It just says GTY Well, I better get back to work, I am doing a ZOOM bleaching on someone right now! You're not alone. My husband asks me every day, "What are you doing on the net for so long?". Although I did take him to a meet in December of people who were married or had vow renewals at Disney World. I don't know what he expected, but he admitted that everyone was super nice and made him feel like family. He's a little shy, and when I mention things like pirate night he just rolls his eyes, but he'll get into it once he's there!

Oh, do I know what you're talking about! I joined the DIS family for the 10-day cruise last December. DH was absolutely opposed at first to me giving out cabin number ( ) out along with our names. I think he thought we would have weirdos knocking on our door at all hours of the day and night. He didn't want me signing us up for any of the events either, but I did anyway. Well, we got to the cruise termincal, and suddenly he understood. It was like a gigantic family reunion, with everyone wearing their t-shirts and acting like long lost friends. He got to know people and really had a fantastic time! We participated in the events we wanted to participate in and had fun running into people we knew all cruise long.

When we got home, he even signed up for the DIS boards! He doesn't post very often, but he lurks. This is why I love him !

Chat board cult I have never been on a chat board before the disboard. I was told about the disboard by Ken while on the 10 day cruise in Dec. I still hesitated getting started, but the "chats" are all goal directed- to help everyone have a great cruise. Many topics come up, some answer questions that others may have. Activities are planned that one can pick and choose what interests individuals. We can choose to do all, some or none of the activities, but not participating might mean missing out on fun activities and meeting some great people. I hope your DH gets involved with reading the boards, it get addictive. Alex

Emily: Don't worry... my DH was the same way when I got involved with the DIS group for the 10 Night Holiday Cruise (and we had 25000 posts by cruise time...LOL) .... But he had a wonderful time with our group and he agrees that we met a lot of great people... some who are also going on this cruise too!! Of course I still can't get him on the DIS.... he'd rather watch the History channel....

I'm going to preface this comment with a promise to those involved that you shall remain unnamed but if you recognize yourself...remember the hilarious time the seven of us had at dinner on the ....cruise discussing this very topic when one DH admitted that he was convinced, before boarding the ship, that all the time his DW spent "communicating" with strangers on the internet about DCL, the upcoming cruise, pirates, and all manner of everyday gossip was a sure sign that DW had lost her mind and joined a cult.... I tried to warn 3DAN months ago that the DISboard was addictive and I see he has fallen into the trap....Don't you just love when that happens? The more people, the more experiences, the more answers to burning questions....
I just love it...

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Still Feel That DISNEY CRUISE LINE : Will alter the Route.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. She didn't have any specifics other than that.

1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Hey all you Cabo experts, do we tender or dock in Cabo San Lucas? I'm trying to pick the time for the ATV tour and I would like to go with the first tour at 9:00am. Since it says "guests ashore" at 7:30am, even with fighting the tender wars, we should have time to make the 9:00am tour.

Don't forget, if anyone is interested, PM me. $70 for a three hour tour (not that kind of 3 hour tour - no islands involved here)(2 hours of riding - the rest travel and instruction). Transportation provided from/to the port.
