Bette, That works for me. Thanks. Really don’t you guys think it would be fun to cruise in a life boat theme room? I think it would be fun. Just as some hotels have theme rooms you could have themed stateroom, i.e. a Gilligan’s Island Theme, Here is one for Bob, a Margarittaville Theme (blender included), etc.

Peter do you want to swap for our ocean view fresh air cabin every few days ???, then we can use your shower... People pay many thousands of dollars for a big veranda and the great views, we have one of the biggest verandas and fantastic views for much less money...

Go To The GYM ..... Besides I have read that people dont find the showers in the staterooms, Adequate for showering and have to go to the gym..

I dont know water comes out and I seem to get most parts pretty clean..

I'm just tootling around waiting for a co-worker to pick me up. We're working in another office today and I convinced her to drive . Yay!

We did the 1 week land tour and 1 week cruise two years ago. Three weeks later I went back with my daughter (she worked for a cruise line). All of the employees were sent out to see all the places they sell and each one could take another person with them. So I went with her. I went twice in two months. WILL NEVER, EVER FORGET IT.

I would definitely go again.

Here is a little more information about the ATV Tour in Cabo. The company name is Desert Park. It appears that the cost is $70 per ATV (single or double riders). Children can ride with an adult if the child is at least 110 pounds (that what the registration page says). Round trip transportation is provided from the port for groups with at least 4 ATVs. It appears that the pick-up time can be anytime between 9:00am and 4:00pm on the hour.

The ATV's are semi-automatic (I assume this means that you have to shift gears, but there is no clutch, but I'm not sure about that - anyone else have experience with semi-automatic ATV's). They provide helmets, goggles and bottled water. It looks like the total trip time is about 3 hours, with about 2 hours of riding time.

You are correct. There will be a shifter by your foot (some can have an extender arm so you can shift with your hand but I prefer to keep both hands on the handle bars ) but there is no clutch.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. She didn't have any specifics other than that.

I Think Several Years Back they purchased ...something out there....for docking purposes..

In the Late '90s or early 2000s (when i was living in San Francisco) I heard that Disney purchased a berth in the Bay Area. At the time, there was plenty of excitement about having a Disney Dock there because Mayor Willy Brown had let the SF Dock area die and it was hoped that this would be a boon to the Bayside Districts, but when nothing happened folks lost interest. I don't know whatever happened to that.
I do know there are some Alaskan cruises out of SF and outside of theme parks, SF is the number one vacation destination in the country for both US citizens and foreign tourists. A Princess Cruise (Regal Princess) 10-day roundtrip is available out of SF, as is a Crystal 12-day roundtrip (very pricey, Crystal is definitely 5-star). There may be others with stop in SF. I thought I saw a Celebrity ship, but don't know if it originated there or in LA.

If Disney had a berth in San Francisco, it would be a definite draw - but it would seem to be less likely that folks would be visiting DL pre or post cruise, unless there was a significate incentive to go to DL.

Count me in for the scrapbook gift exchange. I was just starting to pack my box for shipping to the warehouse and was also putting together the gift bag! Perfect timing!!

I had some questions about the scrapbook exchange:
1. Am I too late to sign up? If so ignore my other questions.....

2. Is this for scrapbookers or newbies too?

3. Do you bring your photos with you or just set up the page to add the photos later?

4. Is there a fee?

I've never done any kind of scrapbook, I'm lucky to remember to order my prints from ofoto- but I think it might be worth it for this trip.

As for the scrapbooking questions:

3)no experience necessary (I'm a complete novice and can't wait to learn from these experts!)
