Been thinking of the Cat 4 but we have the Cat 5, Who knows how it will all sort out. Don't think there is much difference in the Cat 4 and 5, just a little more room. We like deck 7 for it's location. Still have the hopes of the Cat 1 upgrade, LOL ROTFLOL....what a dreamer I am ....

If You ever get a call fo Cat 1 we would Share it with you..

Peter LOL

The whose going list is fully updated as are the deckplans. Please send any deletions you know of who are still on the list to jen at jenkatt@gmail.com. Also send her a note at that address if we missed you for some reason. (Its amazing how many people are going and I never expected it to get this large).

Conch Cooler yes. But I'll just settle for a Margarita..

How do you do that drive to Idaho Falls all the time? Quite a drive. Heck, we're driving to Indy today and I don't relish it.

38° today, but sunny and in the 50's tomorrow. :sunny:
Yard work.
Sunny 27degs today. Working on the basement project and started to rip my CD's to mp3's so I can bring music on the cruise. Later today a nice glass of wine

Well, I awoke to my brain constructing haiku about cruises and lime green shirts...To really get into the swing of things I started packing shoes...Wellll...It all started with the comment about marking luggage creatively...I got a nice carry-on free last year by ordering clothes on-line and, by golly, will be getting the very same carry on free in a couple of weeks. I'll have to mark those two bags inventively so I can tell my shoes from Cash's food and water dishes, etc...

About the stateroom number for Cash and me...The one listed currently is not, (I'm sure) going to be the one we'll be staying in but I haven't figured out a different way to designate that on the master list. Perhaps change the 6647 to a question mark? I see that there will be more cruisers staying at the Hyatt Friday night before the cruise and we'll (Cash and I) will be in the lobby after dinner to say hi! I think that might be a good time for me to leave the carry-on luggage alone and to relax and start a good cruise book, or finish an airplane book. If we're not there, we'll probably be looking for a last patch of grass for Cash...

Jeff will alter the t-shirt for the pin design of be one way on each side...

:flower: HAPPY SATURDAY TO ALL OUR KINGDOM TO KINGDOM CRUISERS!!!! ONLY 9 MORE WEEKS TILL WE SAIL! :flower:

Okay, just had to get that out of the way.

Busy weekend. Finished the top for my 70's night outfit. Now just got to finish up those bellbottoms! Headed out to the fabric store (dangerous thing).

Beautiful sunny day in Salt Lake City. Little breezy though! Okay, got weekend things to do!

Check later.

Linda

P.S. Got my Mickey phones last night about 6 p.m. when Mr. UPS knocked on the door. Mickey is home on his 12 hour charge right now so we can start using!

Serious Saturday – Yes I am Seriously wanting a Conch Cooler……..

15 degrees above and it looks like it might be a clear day. Lynn is working graves the next three months, so when she gets off this morn we are heading to Idaho Falls, Crazy but that is our closest Walmart. We will see if there are any cruise items we just have to get.

Got all the Blue Charts loaded to the laptop last night. Pretty neat stuff if you are a map person.

Also gotta do the Disney Visa card rewards before this trip. Should I get them now or wait till April to redeem?

I hear ya!! I could use a couple of Conch Coolers right about now... maybe then the hole in the ceiling wouldn't bother me so much...LOL

I would go crazy if my Wal-Mart was that far away... I am the WalMart Queen! :rotfl: We have TWO SuperCenters within 5 miles of our house and I'm always running between them! They carry different merchandise and do their markdowns at different times... it's strange! :confused3 But I love it. :cool1:

Since we just paid off the cruise with the Disney card... I'll wait till that bill is paid to transfer my rewards... that should buy a few more pins...LOL I will probably wait till the April bill is paid actually.. it doesn't take long for the transfer.. esp if you already have an empty card for them to credit. I've been saving the rewards ever since I knew I was going to book this cruise so I've got quite a few.... Should pay for most of my pins anyway...

Upgrade question... Is there any rhyme or reason to getting upgrades? We've never had the luck to get one.. but now with Gty status we're hoping. Does your TA have anything to do with it or does it come from DCL randomly? When I paid off the cruise I told them since it was our anniversary on the 14th... that if DCL wanted to upgrade us to the Walt Suite that would be fine...:rotfl2: I'm sure the whole TA office had a nice laugh...:rotfl: :rotfl: I'd be happy with a 9!!! Really though.. I'm just happy to be on the ship! 9 weeks... close enough to start getting packing anxiety!!

Don't know that there's any rhyme or reason to getting upgrades, but with this cruise, I think it's only likely with the lower level categories. I'd imagine most of the higher level categories have waitlists in place for people who want to pay to upgrade.

I believe the upgrades come from DCL, as when I got mine last year, my TA emailed me saying that DCL had just contacted them about it.

We have 2 Walmarts in my town, one is right across the street from where I work, and the other is a couple miles from my home. Neither are Super Walmarts though. I can't wait to move to Florida, there will be 3 Super Walmarts all in the town I am moving to

I have been trying to think of what to do about the book exchange.. I think I'd like to have them on sea days and am considering the 16th, the 21st and the 24th.

I think it might be best to just set the dates and places and just have people show up who want to do it. Anyone could also trade books at any time if they want. I want to keep this really informal.

Thanks Jeff & Jenn,

Would it be possible to add a tote (if Zazzle offers one)? And the premium polo shirt?

Thanks again,
Laurie

ok Super Saturday...

Passports arrived in the mail today, Coconut Did not..

Did some shopping at Old Navy for Shorts and Stuff.

Ok Peace out..

Evening all!

I was just thinking about the different cruisers we have aboard.

When was the first time you sailed on DCL and how many times have you gone??

We first sailed in December 1998 in the Inaugural year. Did not get any nice gifts during that celebratory season, but it did allow us to get a taste of sailing. ;)

We have since sailed one other time in April of 2002 aboard the Wonder.

How about you?

Debbie

:cloud9:

Thanks Debbie for starting this.

First DCL cruise: Presidents week February 1999 (3 days land, 4 days sea) We enjoyed the ship so much, and we were told they were planning a 7 day!

Second DCL cruise: Presidents week February 2001 (7 day Eastern)
Third DCL cruise: Presidents week February 2002 (7 day Eastern)
Fourth DCL cruise: Presidents week February 2003 (7 day Western)
