I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted.
So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

NejTheLion = I was thinking about offering to put together a DVD of the cruise - collecting photos and possibly video footage from the cruisers afterwards, making some music videos, slideshows, etc. I'm in the process of desiging and putting up a website doing this, already having done quite a few for assorted family functions. I can make them all spiffy - real cases, color covers, direct color printing on the discs. Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Just have to make it look nice in the bag and get a few odds and ends and we will be all set. The corner of the spare room is pretty filled up

Holy WOW! Finally caught up to everyone. I was working from another office on Friday, so I didn't really have the ability to check in...then been visiting my parents in wine country! Very wet this weekend, but beautiful up there, and enjoyed great wine as always.

Danica, sorry about your weekend stress. Seems like every cruise we go on, someone on the boards has something like that happen just before we leave. But like Peter said, family is the most important...though leaving the pups a little hungry wasn't a bad idea...

Thought I would break up my posts to keep them a bit shorter, and to get us a little bit closer to post 5000!

Packing: yep, we've started, but really it's all stuff that we just didn't put away after the 10-day in December. Instead of having to gather some of that stuff up again, we are starting to accumulate it in (SURPRISE!) our spare bedroom! Unfortunately, we can't use the bed to stage stuff because we tend to have guests too frequently for that. But the dresser works fine.

Tried out a new pet sitter this weekend. She's spectacular (at least with the ). Next time we take a weekend away, we leave the dog too...good luck! But she will be taking care of the dog and both cats for this cruise, so we need to make sure she can keep the dog exercised enough. He gets a 2 mile walk every day, rain or shine, so she will need to keep him busy.

Wanted to join in for the chat, but saw the reminder late and didn't have the right java installed, so I bagged it. There's always next week...

Anyway, hope most of you were able to enjoy a three day weekend. DH had to take today off work so we could spend the full three days at my parent's house. Glad he did! Have a good evening all.

Okay, so I'm going for the three-peat posting.

You will very likely have your cabin # when you get all of your cruise docs. There are VERY few people that don't have an assigned cabin by then. Once we begin to get our docs, I suspect that the vast majority of you will be able to finish off our lists. Some folks are using the lists to deliver special gifts. I will be using it for everyone wanting to play tag. Without a cabin #, we can't tag you!

If you get upgraded or for some reason don't have the cabin # until you check in, just let people know at the meet'n'greet parties on sailaway day.

I really didn't expect the shuttle launch to stay on the 14th, but I was kinda hoping, even with traffic problems....our cabin is port side, aft...perfect for hanging out with both cameras!! I'm trying to remember if they leave the shuttle out on the pad for a few days before the launch. I'm 95% sure it will be on the pad on the 14th if they are launching the 15th. Unless there is really bad weather coming, I seem to recall they'd leave it on the pad for the few days before the launch. That would be different to see!

Packing....yeah, right! No plans to start packing any time soon! Our little bitty house doesn't have an extra bedroom, and my computer room doesn't have enough room. Besides, the dogs don't like suitcases!!!

And lastly!!! MY PASSPORT WAS IN THE MAIL!!!!!!!! I'm as official as possible now!!! HURRRRRRR-AAAAAY!!!!!!!!

It wasn't easy.. Between Joe and I we checked 6 pieces of luggage and each had two carryons....LOL and DIDN'T USE HALF OF IT!!! Pack LIGHT. I don't care if you guys see me in something twice or three times... get over it! This time we have to schlep it home from CA... usually we're just parked at the port. BIG difference.
