And no, we are not DVC, we rented points for our Villas at Wilderness Lodge stay. I must say, I do LOVE the Villas!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. I just love getting to see everyone we are cruising with. We are the luckiest people in the world because in addition to our families we'll be cruising with so many DIS friends. Who else will be able to walk just about anywhere on board and meet up with a friendly face!

Mary, great job on the pictures. I just looked at Vicki and GaRry's. Boy do those t-shirts bring back memories! We still have 3 of our 4 (DS wore his to camp, and it was RUINED!!) We'll probably bring them too, just to give people a beacon to follow!

Good Morning Everyone!

Mary - the pictures look great. I have changed my DIS name though, it is DVC4US instead of LNaylor863.

No snow yet, but they say it is coming tonight. Anywhere from 3-9 inches depending on where we land in the storm. Mary, I hate to say it, but the weatherman's map showed that the snow extended all the way to Chicago. Are we having fun yet?

Matt - good luck on your test. We were in Hawaii in December and loved it. We were going to take the kids back this summer, but our timeshare is booked up, so I think we are going to head to Atlantis instead. We will go to Hawaii next summer.

so another milestone falls
now on to then nexted one.
MARY I think 3 - 24 is WAAAAAAY to long of A time WE can get there in less then 6 weeks easy!!!!!!!!!

Yes the snow is heading this way and then on to gaRry. Enough already! Oh well this is winter in Chicago. I filled up the car with gas just in case. I don't have far to go luckily, but I hate driving in it. Just a wimp I guess.

Ok to get to 10,000 before we cruise we need to post 25 posts per day. At the 25 posts per day rate we should hit 3000 by 3/18/04.

I'm sure we can do way better than that especially based on yesterday.

Let's target lead day 2/29/04 - that only needs 33 posts per day.

Whatever day we do it I'll be ready. Just remember I work during the day so don't it from me.

Good morning all. Can you believe, it is still snowing in Salt Lake City. They now say that it might stop later this morning or early this afternoon. Problem is--I fly to Atlanta at 1:30 p.m. today for a business trip. (Wish it was Orlando instead!). I tried to sneak in a little DW extra by doing a layover thing, but they wanted an additional $220 and I figured since I was by myself, it wasn't worth it to go a day early just so I could go shopping in Downtown Disney! I have to go to Atlanta again this fall, so I am definitely going to plan ahead and hopefully add a little side trip to the business trip even if I am by myself! Maybe I could work in a 3 day DC (I wonder if I could sneak that by without the DH finding out.) Hm.....that's a thought!

Anyway, guess I better get to work this morning and check the Delta site to see how delayed my flight will be today. I'm taking my laptop with me so while I'm doing my homework each night, I have assigned myself as the #1 priority to read the pages and pages of posts that I miss during the day!

Thanks for everyone wishing me good luck. As some of you know I am friends with Karl Holz President of DCL. I emailed regarding anything special next year and about new builds. This is his reply

The holiday program remains in development but is fairly well defined. Yes, there will be some special surprises and entertainment. Additional ships are certainly important to us and we are working on that front but there is no timetable that I can share.

Well, this might get a discussion, of sorts, going.
I have found Cash's poop deck.....Gasp, in my own cabin. Disney policy, as told to me by the TA...
According to reservations I have lots of time to un-housebreak Cash so that he can do his things in a sand-box in my cabin...and lots of time to un-train him so that he will go away with a stranger so I can permit a crew member to take him to the "backstage area"where I am not permitted to go.
I am SO sad.

Thanks Matt. Feel free to pass on info on the newsletter to Karl. He's high enough I think we can trust him. Besides maybe he'll take a look at this great bunch and pass out upgrades

Linda I don't have the address or number but I wouldn't take the word of a travel agent on this. I would talk directly with Customer Relations at DCL. Hopefully you will get a much better answer. I would think the least they could do would be to allow you backstage with an escort so Cash doesn't have to go with a stranger.
