She's scheduled for surgery on Monday at 5:00 p.m. but must go in at 8 a.m. to be on "standby" in case there is a cancellation. She's done WAY too much internet searching for options besides surgery (and chemo should it be cancer)! :earseek: Mike called her every night from NY to check in and she kept telling him about the latest search she had done. I told him to tell her that if she keeps it up we're cancelling her AOL account (we pay for it now!) :rotfl2:

I think the most important thing right now is to wait and see what we're even dealing with. But of course, if it was me, I'd be worried sick!

Hi there! Didn't get online yesterday...one of the busy days with the therapist and the nurse...and a few other little things.

Welcome home Karen!! Glad you had fun. We will be praying for Grandma Lightbulb.

We had to double up on the therapy, Mom was getting some swelling in one leg....now I am being a prison guard...making her get up and get moving.
The weather has been gorgeous, so not too much to complain about. It's supposed to get colder again, but now that I'm here it doesn't seem so bad.

Jordan's show was last night and from all accounts, she did great. Megan said the show itself is "long" and "boring".....but that Jordan did great. Now that that's ove with, it should be a little less hectic for Jay, without me there to do the running. Yea!

I just keep thinking about this cruise, looking at the pics, and I have gotten a few more scrapbook pages done...and it keeps me resonably happy & sane.

Mark....I love your red x and the cat....you're pretty clever!

Glad to see you are getting your scrap booking done. We finally got our pictures printed so Sharon will be able to get them all put together now.

Over the last few cruises I have collected scrapbook stuff. Why do I enjoy putting bionicles together with Nick and just sit and sift thru the cruise stuff?

There you go, Stacey. If not for this trip, you probably wouldn't have gotten your scrapbooking done. And, you now only have to watch the "Jordan" parts of the show on tape. See, a silver lining! We actually have scrapbooking stuff. Alicia was interested, so I bought her some stuff for Christmas a couple of years ago. I don't think it's been opened, I should put it in a lot and sell it on Ebay. Along with almost everything else around here.

What kinda stuff do you have? KT put together her page today from our ski trip (now THAT is staying on top of things!!) We might be interested in buying it out from under you! ;)

No scrapbooking today. By the time I did all the other stuff, I was too tired. But since it is supposed to snow for the next 3-4 days, I may end up doing several scrapbooks.

Sue...it takes me forever to do one page, I have to sit and look through it all and reminisce........

Why is it that my Mom wanted new blinds on my dad's windows for at least 4 years (her words)...and neither one of my brothers who lived here did them?
I swear, they must just wait for me to come.....and I really am not very good at this stuff. They should know better.
What they really need is a new kitchen faucet..which I could do (well, I maybe would have to holler for the Handsome Handyman) but I draw the line at getting under the cabinet in a fetal position.

Time to read for a while...I love this opportunity to read myself to sleep....can't do that at home. Jay doesn't like the light on. Maybe I'm getting spoiled here....:guilty:

Take care,
Stacey

Why is the woodpecker working on my woodsided house rather than the TWO suet feeders in the yard? I never thought I would enjoy the birds. I have feeders, baths and shrubs for them. And my cats are not allowed out!

Because the suet is there for him to eat....he's not pecking on your house to get something to eat....he's marking his territory and letting all of the other woodpeckers know it! We have one who uses our gutters to do the same thing. He picks the spot right above KT's window and it's usually early in the morning!! :rotfl2:

Well, he needs to learn to SHARE;)

Just wanted to let everyone know that we wiped out the 10 day cruise photo gallery and newsletters today. The main page and trip report are still up but all else is gone. Needed to free up the room for future cruises :flower: Hope you all enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them.

I do have them saved on disk so they aren't truly gone just not online any more.

Mary... and Mark... Thanks so much for all that you did for us. It was great having the newsletters and the picture gallery......

Definitely made the cruise even more special!

Since you are making room for the Double Scoop cruise I won't complain!

Now if I could figure out how to get on that members cruise ;)
