When Karen gets back I think we should have her change the title of the thread again to read "Jim & Kevin's excellent adventures under the sea".
Thanks Mary!!
I like the sound of that!! :rotfl2:

So what's the deal with scuba trips and no kids? Who says you guys get to take off and have fun without all of us?

Oh, by the way, DD and I might go to WDW in August. See ya.
Duh!!! Like THAT was going to change.......

Love ya! Mean it!!

Make sure she brings her dive gear. Matt and I will enjoy taking her diving.

Jim,

Very cool picture - what kind of fish is that? I love the pictures you and Kevin have been putting in your signatures.

That is a garibaldi. This is a native fish to the kelp beds of CA.

I put this picture up so Kevin would get the bug for diving the Channel Island in the Fall, like he really needs anymore encouragement! ;)

You said IT!! As if!! :rotfl:

I'll see your garibaldi and raise you a Giant Sea Bass! this sucker was about 5 feet long and had a fishing line in his/her mouth. Just hanging around at the bottom, about 45' or so. Usually these guys swim just outside a decent picture range and all you see is shadows. One time we were in Catalina there was two Giant Sea Bass swimming around us in circles. We kept seeing them go around and around with their eyeballs watching us each time. VERY cool!! :cool1:

Wow - that giant sea bass looks like a red X. I've seen pictures of him on lots of posts. Didn't know so many people liked them. :rotfl2:

Edit to add - now I see the sea bass - but it wasn't there at first. :cool1:

Does it Matter??

Your right, not really. Still trying to figure something out for Cozumel. Diving with Martin is having email problems. Glad I started early working on that.

When I used them last it was a stop gap measure because Liquid Blue had canceled while we were on the Celebrity cruise. I didn't check the email until we got to Cozumel and found out. (they had a family emergency). Anyway, I walked off the ship and Dive with Martin was right there. They wanted $100 cash for both of us on a two tank dive. I was a little leery, but it worked out fine! I think their prices are a bit higher now, but are still very competitive.

Whew.

Home from skiing! Had an absolutely WONDERFUL time. I'm dog tired. We skiied about 4-5 hours a day with a break for lunch in the middle. Inner tubed last night for 2 hours. Drove home today for 6. Ran in, unpacked and spent 2 hours at ballet. Caught up on this thread, but not the others.

Now we have a predicament. We'd always gone to Peek 'n Peak, but this time went to Holiday Valley. Now we can't decide where to go next year!!!

Just wanted to say hello before dropping into bed. :)

Virgil, got your message. Thanks!! It was really nice of you to call. :)
