Hi Everyone!

Just came by to say hi! I'm still doing laundry and packing as we leave on Friday! I have a dilemma that I wonder any one can help me with - I have 2 dresses for my vow renewal which will be on the formal night (December 26th - @ 5:15pm) the Captain's gala according to Debbie from Disney Cruise lines. Both are long gowns - Question: Should I wear the younger looking one albeit more princess like - I even thought of wearing a little tiara - but it might be too much! (according to the person that shortened this J. McClintock dress) or the more conservative elegant dress from Vera Wang. Dh and DS are wearing tuxes for the event and DD is wearing a long black and white dress Both are strapless, however, there may be more room in the Wang dress after a week of cruising! My mom says take both - but it's a lot of "dress" bulk to pack!

Which one does your husband like? Wear the one that is going to take his breath away!! And definitely wear it to dinner....the entire night is YOUR night!

Just talked to Big John's in Antigua.

He was not there but after speaking to two different people they said that I can come.
They did not want my name, I was just to come along.

I hope that this was sufficient enough to hold a spot for me.

It certainly didn't sound like it was.
I'll hope for the best......I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Got all caught up and now I have to go! Things to do, places to go...dog to take to the doggie hotel.

Must remember to call the credit card company.

Pirate night is going to be astounding!!! I'm not bringing a video camera....can I con someone into making me a copy of theirs???

Well, it is COLD here in Florida. I have on a shirt and a heavy sweater and I am still cold. LIsa left this morning with a shirt, sweatshirt and winter coat. I sure hope it warms up before Saturday. At this temperature no one (including those of you from the frigid north) will be in the pools while the Magic is in Port. There is usually someone brave enough to swim, but I don't see it happening this time.

Well, one more thing to cross off my list before leaving - Lisa got her hair braided last night at a friend's house. Her Mom did a great job. Unfortunately it was after 10pm before she got home last night and she had not done any of her homework. So, at 5am she was up and working on it. It was done before she left at 7am for her Flute practice at school. So, if you see a beautiful little girl with nicely braided hair asleep in the terminal, it's probably Lisa.

But this is FLORIDA... SOUTH Florida... we're not supposed to get this cold! Actually, yes, I will be on the ship for Panama...LOL... think I could just leave my suitcases onboard somewhere until May? LOL I can't even begin to imagine trying to pack for that one...

We've been talking about trying to make a "best of" DVD. I will have the new camcorder at the Pirate party, hoping to get some good shots! It's pretty light, shouldn't keep me from partying.

By the way, you are a pin expert........what is an "artist's choice" pin. I see them on Ebay all the time.

Wear whichever one makes you happier and definately wear the tiara!! It's your special time, make it just what you want it to be. Don't worry what anyone else thinks. That's my guideline for the cruise - this is each of our vacation and we are welcome to wear / do what makes each of us happy.

There is hope!

DH just called me from the post office. I gave him a whole long list of errands to do today. I told him if he got to the post office at 9 a.m. he wouldn't have to wait in a long line. Well, it's 10:45 a.m., he of course, never listens! Said he had been waiting in line over 30 minutes!! Now, if he can just get the vacation hold done correctly!

I did put it in writing for him!

I would suggest you send them an email to confirm it up. I don't have my file with me, but the address is on Kevin's site. The guys in the office tend not to write anything down. You need to deal with the woman that knows how things work and can get it done. (this should be a fun comment for all the DW out there) They had only limited seats so try and get an email out.

By the way, you are a pin expert........what is an "artist's choice" pin. I see them on Ebay all the time.

The "Artist's Choice" pin is a limited edition pin released on the ships... usually around once a month. They call it that because the artist who gets the assignment gets to choose his own design. It is usually an LE of 750 or less and the quantity is split between the ships. There are also "Captains Choice" pins where the particular captain picked the character that will be on the pin. These are released sporadically when that particular captain in onboard. Since the pins are only sold on the ships.. they are harder to get than normal LE pins at WDW.. so they are very good traders. There is usually a limit of 2 per person per night and they are only sold during the pin trading hour in the atrium... not in the stores.

Okay so who is going to lend me some kids so that I can get extras????
