Document question....

it says on the flap to fill out an embarkation form with emergency contact information--1 per guest.

But I've been through 6 sets of documents and don't see that form in any of them. I remember them from all previous cruises. What's up??

Hmmm..... I thought it was in the back.... on white paper.... of course - I'm at work and can't look...

I got my Dad the Joey Bishop DVD for his birthday this month, because I remembered from waaaay back in my childhood that he liked that show. Of course, I can't remember anything from yesterday.

Well..... I got to go home 10 minutes early - and then when I get here - I can't sign on.... so I did some work - and then checked again...voila! The board is back!!..

I can't believe it - ANOTHER DAY CLOSER!!!!

Frances was amazed at all of the things I got done today - she says - I guess you are really excited about us leaving.......

We still have to pack the bags..... I've got errands to run and I work again 5-1 tonight.... but then Thursday is major get it all put together day.....

Stay Safe and warm..... (it's 20 degrees here at the moment).....

This is the third time I will have tried to post this:

I called DCL about the emergency contact form.
It has been removed from the box, but they didn't change the boxes.
We may or may not have to fill one out at port, so they said to bring the emergency contact info with us, unless we have it memorized.

I posted this a while back, but of course, no one ever listens to me. I'm going to get a complex one of these days.

Gotta go get some sleep for my last day of work. We leave Thurs., landing in Orlando at like 11:30.

Not in the U.S. it's not. I'm not getting into the debate about downloading music, I'm just clarifying the legality of the site (having checked with my resident nerd who works for the Evil Empire, Microsoft).

AllofMP3.com actually warns you in their "Legal Info" area:
"MediaServices pays license fees for all the materials subject to the Law of the Russian Federation "On Copyright and Related Rights"...Administration does not keep up with the laws of different countries and is not responsible the actions of non-Russian users."

In the U.S., if they catch you, you're still s****ed.

Just finsished my morning read of the west coasters and now it is time to head off to work.

Everyone have a good morning and keep remembering that in a few days someone will be bring you coffee in bed as you lay there thinking about what swimsuit you are going to wear for the day.

Cool....we booked the earlier Jolly Roger. Means we have to get up and moving...but no sense wasting precious time!! The more, the merrier!!

I should have known that Scuba Diver would be on this early but I just missed him.

I picked up the coolest ornament for the exchange today...it will be hard to part with...but anything for you guys

My DH and I are both bringing our IPods. He has a mini, mine is a year old so I dont know what generation it is, put I love it. Great idea about the music selections, I will add while I pack (yes still packing) in a bit.

We had inclement weather as we left port on our January cruise. I had to make a run on the ship store for a sweat top and all the more reason to move around (ie. dance) at sail away. After that the sun was out and mostly low 70's. We had a great trip, I just didnt spend much time in the water. I am a cold water wimp.

I am also interested in the PDA discussion. It seems the pda and cell phone's are getting so close and it would be nice to have just one device to schlep.

Hi Jay! (sorry for the delayed response...so many chores so little time). Did I read that you made a wine rack? My DH makes lots of furniture etc as well. Mostly he works with wood but he also has some "ecletic" stuff. He is finishing off a project for a Lawyer today where he made "wall art" out of smash Ford fendors and tires. It sounds strange but the Lawyer I guess made a lot of money on Ford lawsuits
