DS said he would take care of ordering the ankle bracelets for the teenage girls. That way he can keep track of them for everyone!

Ohhh...I feel soooo much better now! LOL

No wonder this mom feels like she can run the show! :earseek: :earseek:

we could all cruise for what they paid in property tax 23,000+ (maybe not for 10 days but together!!)

Wow, I'm gone for the evening, and you guys talk up a storm!!

Congrats, Ohiominnie!!!

Don't you think one of the other "Theme" nights will be Tropical?

But that still leaves one more.....
They only do the "Mexicali" on the Westerns....
I bet it's something to do with Christmas. But, they will have to let us know sooner or later....they know people like to dress up for that stuff.

Maybe something more in the lines of the islands.......like the Junkanoo they do for the kids?

The theme nights don't mess up what I was going to wear too much....I had one particular outfit in mind for Christmas, but it's less "formal" than another dress I have, so I'll have to switch those two.
I took all of Jay and Jared's shirts to the cleaners today. No way was I going to iron 14 shirts! The kid working the counter took one look and said "Holy cow!"
And.....they no longer will do "heavy starch" on the collars & cuffs, and light on the shirt. Has to either be heavy OR light.

Vicki...good luck tomorrow...keep us posted...I'll be thinking of you!

I wonder if I could do a search and find my house. It's amazing what you can find online. I know there's a satellite up there that shows our property sometimes. I've always wanted to go out and "flash" them!!:earseek:

Please warn us first!!!:wave2:

Stacey why am I the only one keeping you company? I guess Virgil must be busy in the ED. It is nearly midnight here and I have to get up for work at 0530.

Hey, I'm here. Watched a DVD tonight. Yes, we're movie nuts. We were speculating whether any of the great movies coming out around Dec. 17 will be on the ship. Guess I will do some research. Series of Unfortunate Events is one, I forget the other one!

Oh yeah, Spanglish is the other one that looks good, then there's the Aviator and Ocean's Twelve. Need to find out if any of these are Disney related!

What an excellent surprise Linda.....a lot of thought went behind that one.
The children are very lucky to have someone as thoughtful and caring as you.

Gus

Thanks Gus!

Just checked the website and it looks like they may not be opening until January

Oh, well, thought all you Pirates would be interested! ARH!!!

pirate: goofydadeo pirate:

I called them two weeks ago b/c I saw the same article and posted it here (probably 500 pages ago, the way we talk).

Anyway, they are not opening up until January. Too bad, I thought that would be fun to do also.

Guess we will have to wait until the DVC member cruise in Sept. 2005 to go see it.

If you need any pirate stuff check out deadmentellnotales.com I got my pirate loot yesterday! It's a great site!

Linda

A TOP!!! AND I WASN'T EVEN TRYING. EVERYONE MUST HAVE REALLY GONE TO BED!!!!

That's what happens when you live way out i the ol' west. Too bad they don't have a western night, I could probably round up some stuff and not even have to go shopping!

You can be there Linda.......I plan on being at check in around noon hour or at least pull up with the rental car at Noon.
That is when they receive their postcards from Mickey and Minnie inviting them on the Magic.
I was thinking maybe someone of authority can give them the postcards, when we pull up. ( Disney Security or Police Officer or Porter)

What time will you be at check in?

Gus

12:01 a.m. Saturday morning.............

I'm just a little excited to get on the ship. Can you tell?

I am hoping to leave the hotel around 9:30 a.m. which would put us at the port at 10:45 a.m. or so, then have to return rental cars.

So reality tells me, with 13 of us, we will leave hotel at 10:15 a.m. and get to port around 11:15 a.m. cuz I will drive faster since I am behind schedule!!!!!

If you see two vans going fast with tons of luggage, that's us!

Linda

Oceans Twelve and Phantom are Warner Bros.
Not sure of the others.

I found a web site that has info about Disney movies, and it seems that none of the above are on it. But maybe one of their subsidiaries? Which company did Signs?

It's always easy to find our thread, we're always at the top! The teens are doing a pretty good job of staying at the top half of the page, too.

Talking to myself.... Touchstone Pictures. They're releasing "The Life Aquatic" on Dec. 25. We'll take it!

Aviator is Miramax, which right now is Disney.

I spoke with Debbie today and made our reservations for Palo's and spa. She also offered to go ahead and make Palo's brunch ressies for me. :Pinkbounc :bounce: Thank you, Debbie!! They were already fully booked for the 26th, so we won't be joining you for brunch, but will still enjoy I am sure.

My uncle and aunt from Idaho have arrived in town already. I saw them for a few minutes at the restaurant tonight and then my sister and bil from Washington walked in as well. All were running late as traffic was a mess in Portland tonight. Took my sister 5 hours to make a trip that is usually 2 and a half. Looking forward to spending time with them (as well as 40 some other people) over the next few days. THEN I will drag the suitcases out into the living room and start packing.

I'm still hanging around, but not for long.

I just found out that my aunt, who lived right here in Scottsdale, died on October 24th. 63 years young. No one bothered telling any of us. It was suicide, so I guess that's why...that branch of the family tree is a little weird, anyway.

Glad at least I am normal!!!
