Dining question:
Are you are being seated in the same area? We are on late dining and want to stay there as it worked well for us last time. We are wondering if we should be calling our TA and requesting to be linked to the "Dis Cruisers" group or if some other action is the route to go?

Hi Tracey,

Yes, those of us on late dinning are trying to sit next to each other. We now have 2 groups set up for late dinning because we got to big for one serving station. Mary Ann (magiroux) is handling the 2nd group so if you would like to join us, just send her a PM and she can get your information.

Another thing if you are interested. Some of us are doing the Palo brunch on Sunday 12/26 at 10:30am. We cannot reserve any more tables but if you want to join us you can make a reservation for that time and ask for a table near the private room.

I had to send Tracey out to work to pay for the cruise but I get to sit and have a relaxing coffee now that the kids have gone off to school.

It is almost a full-time job trying to catchup to you guys, you did have an 18 month start on us. She left me to deal with dinner, t-shirts, brunch ......

Where to start???????

My complements to Mark for this wonderful Bear fun! I love the pictures of him in different places, especially the one where he looks like he's looking out a plane window. My DS's class did this one year with a traveling mascot.

How Bear came to live with you is a sweet story. Mark's a keeper!

Yes he is a keeper! We have kind of a little game now as to where we can take bear's picture to remember the trip. The funny thing is that every time we fly the bag bear is in (carryon) is always the one they want to search (I guess the fluff throws them off). So he's been manhandled by a number of security guards over the years.

Karen was right - he's not your sit on the shelf and look pretty bear. He's had lots of love and has gotten me through many rough spots (as has Mark).

Well, he's been here and is gone. I'm not exactly sure WHAT he did, but it involved flames and stink! And a bigger wet spot on my ceiling in the process. Told me to give this a few days to set up (no water on it) and then test it on Friday and let him know if it's still a problem. He did not charge me--whew!

He was a little surprised that we haven't been using the shower. After all, he was here in July and now it's November. Yeah, well, when you can't get the guy here to work, it's slow going.

Thats curious? Typically when flames are used, it involves soldering and that would indicate copper supply lines. If the water is not on it (pressurized) then what did the repairs intail?

Hi everyone,

Stopped by for a quick hello. Thanks for the heads up about late dinning. I have emailed DU , but haven't heard back yet. I'm sure it will all work out.

Kristen is still not feeling well. She didn't go to school yesterday. She did give her all at vollebyall tryouts on Sunday and ended up making the team! This is a highly competitive volleyball team, there were 50 girls there trying out for about 22 spots. I am really proud of her for toughing out the tryouts, even though she felt really lousy. They begin practice in Dec and the tournaments run Jan- May. With that and Jason's soccer , not sure when will be able to make any trips this spring.

Mary & Mark- cute bear, you guys are so talented and clever. I have a bear that looks really similar to yours that I got in college.

Yup, interesting. Maybe the flames were to make me think he was actually DOING something! HA! Hey, if it works....

I'd have gotten into more specifics with him, but I was dealing with the muddy pawed dog who had over exerted herself while outside and was oozing again!

I downloaded the "When you wish upon a star" ring for my cel phone. Only problem, it isn't nearly as loud as the ship's horn. I miss a lot of calls.
