Hey, look at the bright side:

1. You will be more "kissable"

2. Your scuba mask will seal better.

maybe I have those mixed up......

Reintro:

Angie - 54 Patient Advocate (read complaint department!)
Dennis - 59 Pharmacist

Cruising alone this time. 3 kids, 5 grandkids

Okay....took me an hour to read up. Then I had to go get Jordan.

Someone asked...and yes, Jay does twirl his moustache like Capn Jack, but sadly, DH is just not as sexy.
He will have to trim his moustache way down before the cruise, like Kevin said "better seal on the mask"......

Now that you've seen the latest picture, I told you I had gained a ton of weight!

Linda's trying to get me in trouble again....telling about the drugs.

I will write more about our visit tomorrow...which was great, by the way. Jamie is a doll. So nice to see a young person who is so well-spoken and polite, and can throw the crap right back at Jay when he tosses it out!!

I knew who "Bear" was all along. Virgil has a very good memory. We did talk about Bear a long time ago. I had mentioned that Jared has a Pooh Bear that travels with us everywhere...this will be Pooh's 3rd Disney cruise....and I had wondered if, at 11, Jared was too old for Pooh.....and Mary told us that she had a special "Bear", so you're never too old!

Anyway...have some mail to read, and will be back later.

For the new families...we are:
justmestace Stacey, 46
Husband Jay, 54
Daughter Jordan, 14
Son Jared, 11

well go to bed........
OHHHHHHHHH not you honey

I mean't your kids

your dogs

your cats

your well you know

Here here!! You're never too old for Pooh. In fact, watching Nick's rehearsals, I'm just LOVING all of the characters again. The actors (all are professional, adult actors besides Nick) are all doing SUCH a good job portraying the character....

Well, except Eeyore. I'm having a problem with Eeyore. The actor is playing him more as an "angry Eeyore" than a "gloomy Eeoyre." Eeyore rants and raves and goes on and on. It's just NOT right.

Ohminnie.....wanted to answer what you asked a while back. Megan has been in plays (school and local theater) since kindergarten.....and the opening "lead" is always the best in the director's eyes. You can be a proud Mom too....but it's true that they want opening night to go as well as possible, so they pick the best. Megan, by the way, was only lead once...so I'm not just saying that because of her.

ATTENTION LATE DINERS!!!

I just got off the phone with DCL and they have not changed everyone back to late dinning. She was giving me last names for everyone and some I recognized but some I did not. So if I know who you are I will post here your status. I am also sending a PM to Diana since she is the one handling the 1st group for late seating with all the names so she can make sure everyone knows what they need to do.

Virgil & Stacey - you are both on late dinning now.

Paul, Diana, Vicki & GaRry, Linda, & Angela - since you are booked through TA's you will need to call them and ask them to switch you back to late dinning.

Mary Ann - since you were linked to my reservation(so your group could be next to our our group) you got switched also. You will need to call your TA and have them switch you back. You might want to have everyone in your group check their seating assignment just to be safe.

HTH

Oh my! :headache: I am so sorry. This was like a bunch of dominoes! Melissa at DCL today assured me that everyone was back where they started.:guilty: Next time I will know to cancel any waitlist requests if I am hooked up with others. Hope you all forgive me for all the trouble.:grouphug:

Wow. Double wow. For Nick this is a HUGE accomplishment. He actually only was invited to audition because his "sister was coming, he might as well." NO ONE, I mean NO ONE expected this. He's our "simple" boy. I never thought he could memorize the lines--it's just not him.

So the fact that he snagged the part AND the director wants him to do opening night is INCREDIBLE to us!

Well, remember my bathroom saga? Mike's cousin finished it--only problem is, the shower leaks into the foyer. Not too bad if you only want to take a 2 minute shower, but I was hoping for a nice, long, hot shower when it was done.

Plumber will be here at 8:30 to take a look so I'd better get to bed....

Night all.

Welcome home, Stacey. We missed you! :)

That doesn't sound good

I hope it's not the shower pan.....................

as in? give me worst case scenario....

Angie.... Don't worry about - all is definitely forgiven.....

DCL decided to do this on their own for my cruise in April - and I wasn't linked to anybody....

These things happen....we'll get through them.....and still have a great time....

Well - Since I work at 7am - I guess I better be getting to bed too....

Gnite!

OK, (thinking cap on). Is this on a concrete slab or over wood?

What kind of floor/pan is in the shower? What kind of walls?

Well I'm sorta caight up...

Welcome newcomers!

We are:

Dee -- Freelance medical writer -- 37
Joe -- Software Test Engineer and photographer -- 39
Keith -- 8 -- political animal, aspiring baseball pitcher, and outranks his mom in tae kwon do. For now. I'm hoping to outrank him some day...

BTW, I ALWAYS travel with a bear. Sometimes more than one.

I loved the bear saga. And Mary, I'm grateful you've been well and continue to be so. Ovarian cancer is scary!

Sue -- PD for your mom. She sounds like a real trooper, so I hope she gets to sail w/us!

Back to writing about breast cancer...:(

It's a plastic (pvc-ish) shower base--came premolded in a box with a drain hole. It's over the wood subfloor. The shower walls are now beautifully tiled. The base is in there snug and secure and isn't moving.

The foyer ceiling on the other hand may be the "easy" way in....

WAAAA!

Good, it's probably NOT the pan itself. But, it could be the connection, which is what you mentioned earlier.

So, the foyer is below this area? Did you hire a "pro" plumber?

Might me a loose connection with the drain pipe. Most of those "Redi-Test" drains have a rubber gasket that needs to be installed properly to seal.

Doesn't sound like a supply water problem.
