WHEN DOES THE DISNEY 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION BEGIN?????

05-05-05.

Now my question is---why didn't they fix it so the Magic left Port Canaveral on 5-5-5?

Anyway, celebration will be at all Disney resorts around the world and will last a normal Disney year----about 18 months. Will end on 12-31-06.

How about that new Stitch ride?

Secret preview for DVC Members on November 6, 7, 8 or 7, 8, 9 (I can't remember), just show your DVC card at the ride at Magic Kingdom and you will get your own special preview.

Gee---I will be back at WDW on those days. Imagine that!!!

Animal Kingdom-Mt. Everest. A fast moving roller coaster ride. How high is the tallest point on the mountain? How many stories do you fall in comparison to Splash Mountain? ..............answers forthcoming.....

OH, AND SOARIN' WILL OPEN..........OH AND THE CAR STUNT SHOW WILL OPEN AT MGM (taken from Disneyland Paris). Saw this show when we were there last Thanksgiving, it is pretty awesome.

OH, AND A NEW STAGE SHOW COMING FROM TOKYO DISNEYLAND (I THINK THAT'S WHERE IT IS COMING FROM) IT IS A STAGE SHOW FROM CINDERELLA AND IS VERY POPULAR OVER THERE, IT IS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO CINDERELLA AFTER SHE GETS THE SLIPPER AND LIVES HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Let's see......Three Dog Night Wed. night at Epcot. Sky as clear as can be. Illuminations awesome, as always. Solar Eclipse, you could see as clear as can be.

Sadly, make way to MCO to fly to Atlanta for real work. Turn in car. Check in, get to gate 71, flight delayed for 1 hour 20 minutes due to bad weather in Atlanta.

40 minutes later...............................Delta looking for someone to take a bump for a $200 flight voucher....................

hm...................isn't that what I just spent at the Disney Stores? Is this my lucky day?

Make my way to counter, put my name on list. Ask, when is next flight to Atlanta after that?.....oh, 10 minutes after my original flight is scheduled to leave? I am #1 on bump list..........cross my fingers.....................

Go back to playing solitare on computer to pass time as I sit proudly thinking I have earned back the money I spent!!!!!

Everyone boards plane finally except me. Finally get called to the counter.........................

HANDED $200 TRAVEL VOUCHER!!!!!!!

Walk to gate 73 for new flight, end up leaving 20 minutes late. Extra 30 minutes of time $200. Figure I better use soon before Delta goes bankrupt......................

Land in Atlanta, foggy, but warm. Try to get on internet last night, no luck, finally give up at 2 a.m. and go to bed.

Up at 7 a.m. to get ready for 8 a.m. meeting Friday.

Come to find out......our meeting is in same hotel as some of the NASCAR DRIVERS are staying at. Meet a couple of them at the ice machine. The pit crew dudes arrive at hotel tonight and it is a pretty hopping place. Some pit crew dudes invite us over to the speedway tomorrow morning first thing. I decline, but two of the other gals are going over at 8 a.m. to see what's going on.
