What other boards do you all frequently visit and post on?

I visit the passporter website to lurk. I'm a trip report junkie and they have some GREAT ones over there.

They used to have a moderator named Tikibird who did really spectacular reports with wonderful pictures. The passporter authors decided about 8months ago that they wouldn't allow any references to God, prayer, or religion on their site. It's their site and their rules, so I'm not arguing with their decision. But tikibird is a strongly devout Christian and always mentioned her devotions in her trip reports. So she resigned as moderator. I still visit, but I do miss her reports!

The first bulletin board I ever visited was a tae kwon do one. There was a person named lady tkd who had a great discussion forum. Then I found DIS and I probably haven't visited that site in 2-3 years!

When I was in high school, our team was the Golden Knights. I was really involved in choir, and we sang our fight song and school hymn before every game. The fight song went:

Here's to the Golden Knights of Arlington we hail you.
List your banners high and shout it to the sky

So rise all ye Loyal Knights and wave your banner proudly
Go STALWARTS fight fight fight
And win this game!

After about the 3rd or 4th game, I realized that most of the people around me were singing "Go STAR WARS" instead of stalwarts!

And now, I'll take all the kudos for actually remembering the words to my high school song when I graduated in 1982! I'll spare you the hymn, but I remember it too!

I never went to the pirate sites. I'll have to try that this weekend, then I'll let you know what it turned out to be.

Girl Scouts tonight, Boy Scouts tomorrow night. And today is school picture day. DD wanted highlights, so I bought some of that spray in hair color in gold. Boy does that stuff STINK!!!! I also put makeup on her. First time she's worn it to school. She looked really pretty! But I think they've decided to do their pictures in their math class, and that's last period for her. So there's no telling how it will turn out. DS looked pretty spiffy in a nice red dress shirt with black stripes that I bought for the cruise. He got a haircut this weekend, so it's still looking sharp. His math class is first period, so I'm hoping for good results there!

Have to share a little of the DIS love here. I told you all that we were able to get the BWV room for the 17th? Well, we needed 3 more points than we had used for Mom and Dad's room, so I had told the DVCer originally that we'd sent the same $10 per point we had rented at. She hadn't mentioned it in any of the in-between emails, so once we got the room, I emailed her and asked if she wanted the $30 now or when I got the confirmation. She said that the last 3 points were on her. This was really really nice, and certainly not necessary. It's not like she's a special DIS friend or anything. Renting points was a little bit scary because you really don't have any control over the reservation, and it can be a lot of money. But this just worked out great! I think I'll try to pick up a little something on the trip and mail it to her to thank her for making the WDW stay possible.

Okay, enough mush here. I'm doing my part to the 51+ posts a day.
