Well, everyone must be enjoying their weekend.....

Just got back from the soccer game....it's 95 out there and feels 120. Thought I was gonna die. I need to get out more.

They tied...2 - 2 .....it was a good game.

Mary, I hope you had fun with your friends, that sounds so nice. I only keep in touch with one friend from back home.

Guess I'll go try on the new swimsuit I ordered....if you hear screaming, it's only me......

Spent yesterday getting a batch of wine going. Hope it turns out good.

Spent quality time today with DH watching USC vs. Cal football. Another win. Should still be #1.

10 weeks! Wow. That means I need to loose 2 lbs per week now Better just get a bit larger dresses for formal night.

I'm home and we had a great time. Got a little surprise in that it was homecoming weekend. Where we were meeting was only about 5 blocks from the school so we got to see the Homecoming parade. That brought back memories.

The showcase house was beautiful as they always are. What do you expect for a $1,000,000+ house that has had a different decorator in every room I couldn't live in those houses anyway - but I would have loved the kitchen!

So back home after a very enjoyable day!

Just sent Brittany off to homecoming. Her friends met her and her date here at the house then they all went together, They looked so grown up. They don't get dressed up for homecoming here but they all sure looked good. The scary thing is it is also homecoming for the university here in town and that can get a little out of control. So now I will worry all night until she is home safe and sound.

Well, we have made a change of shore excursions in St. Maarten's. Jim and Matt really wanted to do the 12 Metere excursion (Sail Boat Racing), but they wouldn't take Lisa (10 1/2) because she is under 12. Jim contacted the excursion directly and many e-mails between Disney and the excursion provider, he was able to book independantly all four of us on the same boat that the Disney people are using. Yea!! Then, I think we will take a tour of the Island indepentantly.

Sharon - do you think Jim might share this information? We really wanted to do this, but DD is only 8 so we didn't think we could go. PM me with the information if he is willling to give it up. Thanks

Many hundreds of posts back someone had the website for a place that sells formal type dresses at very reasonable prices. I saved it to may "favorites", but our computer got ill (virus) and DH had to reinstall our programs, thus losing my favorites. I have tried to sift thru the posts to find it, but alas....If whomever had this can repost, I would be most appreciative.

How is everyones weekend. We are just awaiting the arrival of Tropical Storm Matthew. Suppose to get storms, isolated tornados and heavy rain tommorow(sunday). The town hasnt even gotten completly back to normal from Ivan which did considerable damage to us and our town. Luckily most of our damage has been fixied. The roof people have to come though to fix some problems. We schuduled the appointment right after ivan and they are just comming tuesday. Thats how behind they are. Stay dry everyone and enjoy your weekend.

Wow - what a strange night in the ER... I left 2 hours early - because we had only 1 patient in my 30 bed ER..... I'm glad I'm not the night doc - as she's going to get killed...... I told her to call me back in if it got too crazy....

Good Morning All,

Its started raining a few hours. Told it will get heaverier with the worst weather this afternoon. We havent been placed under a tornado watch yet but we maybe later this afternoon. I guess will just wait and ride it out.
