Virgil...what a pain! No I guess I should check our air reservations!
American and Air Jamaica did that to us last year when we went to Bonaire. The connecting fligt from Jamaica to Bonaire was cancelled....no one told us. Luckily, we had a friend join us, and when I called to make her reservations, I found out. So I had to book us a hotel night in Jamaica. Turned out great, we got to see an island we weren't going to see....but it wasn't easy getting a room at such a late date....no time to "research". We got lucky, our hotel was nice and it was close to Margaritaville!!

Gus....faxing a reservation request to Dolphin Discovery....you are very correct....the "Royal" is much better! And less expensive to do on your own. Same company as the Disney excursion....and DCL does make it sound like it's better than it is!

I requested the 9 a.m.....if we can all fit, we'd love to share a taxi....if I can get the 9:00 excursion....they say they only allow 8 people at a time....there are 4 of us.

To cancel our Dolphin excursion with DCL, do I just call the shore excursion number? How far in advance do I have to do that w/o getting charged? I thought I read the day before the excursion.

We have the two late games tonight, and if we treat ourselves to anniversary ice cream, it will be after 11 pm when we get home. I don't think I'll be back on again.

Yes call the excursion number. I think you have until 2 days before we sail to cancel. After that they print the tickets and charge you. Just checked my faxed copy and it says 2 days before embarkation.

LeiLani - I PM'd you.

Well, we have made a change of shore excursions in St. Maarten's. Jim and Matt really wanted to do the 12 Metere excursion (Sail Boat Racing), but they wouldn't take Lisa (10 1/2) because she is under 12. Jim contacted the excursion directly and many e-mails between Disney and the excursion provider, he was able to book independantly all four of us on the same boat that the Disney people are using. Yea!! Then, I think we will take a tour of the Island indepentantly.

I am glad we are going to be able to do this as a family. The "boys" will be diving the next three islands, so this is our only island time with them.

Ok .........another newbie question.

When you get MVMCP tickets what does that all include?

I have read that there is a parade with snow.

Is the park open to the general public?
Are all the rides open? Is there special hours of operation?
I am assuming its at "Magic Kingdom".
Some people were talking about dinner reservations.....Is that included?

Anything else..............?

BTW, Virgil, I hope by the time you get here the hotel workers' strike will be over. I had to walk into my hotel through a very abusive picket line. BLECH!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if anyone mentioned Dolphins in Depth yet (I'm not caught up) but Gus, I highly recommend it! It's at EPCOT, very educational, very cool, very humane.

We're giong on Eli's tour as well!!

I played one game of the two...rare for me, I usually manage to weasel out of it. It's too close to cruise time to break a bone. (That's my story for now anyway)
I played left field and luckily, the other team didn't have any great hitters. I probably got eaten alive by mosquitoes out there, though. My batting stunk. And I knew what I was doing wrong...but couldn't correct it. Mad at myself......

Anyway...again, thanks everyone for the wonderful anniversary wishes. Makes up for the lack of a card or flowers from the DH!
(He worked late....his excuse, and he's sticking to it!)

Gus...sent my reservation in for the Dolphins...will they e-mail me back, or what?

Well that's it for me this morning. Need to go read the boards, then grocery shopping and an afternoon of fun. I'm meeting up with some old high school friends for lunch and a charity designer home tour. It is an annual trradition for us.

To bad you could not be here for the Scuba Pre-Cruise meet. The water is going to be in the 70's and the sea life is going to be incredible because today is Epcot Dive Quest.

We are off to Epcot to meet the Eddy's, enjoy some Wine and Food (we will try to leave some for next weekend), have a great dive, and than dinner in France.
