Lisa is thrilled to hear about someone is actually smaller than she is - Lisa is 52 inches tall and weighs 60 pounds (but most of it is muscle) They can "comfort" one another about the woes of being short - too small for some roller coasters, have to sit in the front of the classroom, being the first in line when they have the team stand in height order (which occurs at every meet), etc.

KT's classroom consists of KT and her brother Nick. Nick is 7 1/2, 48 inches and 49 pounds....heavier but still a bit shorter.

Probably doesn't help to tell Lisa that research shows that the kids who sit in the front learn more, does it?

Karen, Thanks for the info on the Kong. We have a Petco near us and a Megapets. I will check it out at one of the pet stores. I would of loved to be the one who made the money on this toy!!!I should be so lucky.

DD is 7.5 She weighs 46 lbs and is 47 or 48 inches. She was measured last month. She is also a size 6 slim or a size 6 depending on the cut. She is still a size 5 in skirts. They fall right off her hips. DD has a small foot she is a 13.5 narrow foot.
I use to be so thin also till I had her. I was 117 lbs when I got marrried lmost 10 years ago. I am 5 feet 6 inches. I am not that thin any more. I was even thin with a few more lbs before I had her. Oh well those days are far gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DS is 3 years and almost 4 months. He is 42 lbs and tall for his age. He is a big boy he is already in size 4 shirts and pants are also a 4 but I have to shorten them. He has such a big foot for his age. He is a size 11 extra wide.

My goal is to loose 10 lbs before we cruise. Even 5 at this point would make me happy.

Diana, I would love to cruise with you next year but I do not think that time frame will work for us. First I need to pay the balance on this cruise. Mabye we will book a cruise while we are on the Magic and get the $200.00 ship board credit. The only downside to that date for us is that school is still going on for DD and DS. DD recitials are also the first weekend in June and her dress rehersals are always right after Memorial Day weekend which falls on this cruise. We do not finish school until the last week in June. I would love to do CC twice.

DH went to play cards at a friends house tonight. The children are in bed. DS is sleeping. I hope DD will be soon too. Well wishful thinking. At 9:45 DD is hungry. Be back later-Gail

Hi ya'll

DH says I shared my crud with him. What kind of DW would I be if I didn't share. I couldn't feel miserable on my own. Had to return to work today. Tried not to do to much but have some reports that have to be in by Friday so.... The big bosses don't care if you are heathy or not they just want the job done.

Virgil - good luck with the staffing issues. We have had some problems but not to the extent that some of the larger hospitals have. Will the health care issues ever get better??

The DD has officially said they are "flip flops" no short cuts "cuz if you say it fast it sounds like flit flop which i sounds really cool" ....oh to be young and blonde

ParrotHeads here!!!! I more so than DH, but he goes along with it. Our children know that Margaritaville is a real place and that Buffett is a way of life! They also know that it is sacreligious to not sing along. (However, they also know that Sting is a God among men! - no flames please, only kidding.)

We are Buffet Fans, especially me. I spent the first two years of college at University of Tampa a long time go. JB played at our college and I have loved his music ever since way back when. Those were such fun days. When I transfered back north I use to listen to Billy Joel all the time before he became very famous. He use to play at a bar once in a while in Roslyn, NY called US Blues late at night. We would listen to him play till the wee hours in the am. It was so cool. It was a long, long time ago........Great memories.-Gail

Oh, Gail, you're my twin. I'm about 5 5 1/2 and weighed about 115 when I was married (if my memory serves me right...that WAS over 13 yrs ago! ) I'd love to lose 10 pounds by cruise time. It was gone last year, I just gained it back. Lots of excuses for it, none of them really hold water. Let's email each other and encourage each other onto our goal, whatcha say?

We've been walking the dog down the street--she finally is behaving enough to do that. Today is the first day in many many moons that I haven't had a soda. I'm actually HUNGRY right now because I didn't overeat at dinner. I'm hoping that the scale starts nudging down and giving me some hope!

Yup, another one here. One of my favorites is the one at Chef Mickey's--LOVE their mashed potatoes. I really like the one at Parrot Cay for breakfast....Yum! Topsiders has a good one, although I always load up my plate and forget about the extra counter they have in the back....

My ds (7) belts out Cheeseburger in Paradise like you wouldn't believe.

Although some of the words are wrong.....

Instead of "Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer" it's "big draft of pickle and a cold draft beer."

Yeah, dance recital may affect our cruise dates too. It's bad enough we usually miss two weeks of class in early May. But with the recital usually being the end of May or beginning of June that cruise seems too close to miss class.

We are putting the ballet teacher up in a VWL 1 bedroom for a week early next year (2005) Maybe I can use that as leverage to hold 2006's recital earlier

More Buffett fans here! DD Lauren has been to 3 concerts.... and it's been 3 years since her last.... We were trying to go to the one of the concerts in Vegas in October.... but don't think it's going to work out.....

Well - we already had our next cruise booked - we're doing the 4 day Easter cruise in 2006. My company decided to hold their annual meeting on the Wonder (hehe - it's good to have some pull....)
