Top! pirate:

I have mine set for sailaway.

Actually at 5pm Eastern tomorrow it will be 99 days so 99 on 9/9 is correct. I'll be at work but I'll be doing the double digit dance when i get home!

We have Kingdom Hearts here. The kids play it with dad. It's too long and involved for me. The never ending game.

Don't parents know it is better to p in water than on land?

:teeth: Really makes you want to think twice about going to the family beach, doesn't it?

Why did the subject make me all of a sudden wonder where GaRry is??????

Truth be told, on long snorkel trips out in the middle of the ocean....you have no choice. You should have seen my kid's faces when we told them this on our first snorkel trip.
Just had to make sure that they remembered one word "Downstream". LOL

Now that I have totally grossed every one out....I'll go to work.

Mary...sent an e-mail.

You know, it's pretty funny when the park ranger shows up at your camp when you are on the lake and makes sure you have your porta-potty. Then they tell us, "You know, it is much better to p in the water than on the shore if you have to!"

I just love our porta-potty!

Hi all! I couldn't get in earlier today, so I missed my morning fix. My DD absolutely loves Switchfoot! Tina, I think we will definitely have to hook up a meet before we leave. Those two sound a lot alike. In DD's camp care package, I had bought the Switchfoot CD for her. Turns out she bought it at the camp store. She gave the extra to a friend of hers. Cheap mom was ready to take it back to the store for a refund.

Good news about CC. I really am looking forward to the island.

Hope everyone has a great day. Lisa

For those grossed out about kids peeing in the ocean, what do you think the fish do? Just ask my DD about fish poo. Seems when she was scuba diving in Cozumel, she crossed paths with a really BIG fish. She was trying to save her Dad from crossing it's path.

You should also not read the threads on the Theme Park boards titled something like "have you ever had a shock at WDW?" Lots of kids peeing stories there, adults too.

The Beatles are the newest enthusiasm around here. I decided to buy some of my old LP's in CD form, and DD has claimed them all. At least she shows good taste.

So Jim, how is the remodeling project going? We want to see pictures! And make sure your family is in there, for size comparison.

Yoo Hoo, Garry? Horsedude? Vicki? Where are you guys? I guess they're busy. Horsedude hasn't even visited the teen thread yet.

Okay, I did a load of laundry, 30 mins on the treadmill and took a shower, enough work for one day, lol.

Have 6th grade back to school night for DS. They make you go through their whole schedule by the bells. It takes about 2 hrs. I like knowing whats going on at school, but this is a little ridiculus.

FYI- anyone running windows XP there is a new upgrade called Service Pack 2. Don't know if you can download it yet, but picked up a disc at Best Buy. It suppposed to have enhanced security technologies, we'll see.

Per someone on the cruise board:

"Don't know if this helps or not, but DCL rep told me today that the "official" damage report is moderate damage and they expect it to be repaired in the next week or so. Mmmm, don't know if that means it'll be done for 9/19 and of course she didn't have any answers. She may be a bit optimistic, but just maybe...."

Wow. Seems fast considering Frances was over CC so long. We can only hope!

I just noticed:

MY TIMER IS ON 100 DAYS TILL THE CRUISE!!!!!

LINDA

Woo Hoo - 100 days!

Tomorrow we do the double digit dance!

:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

Any word on how much damage Ivan did to St. Lucia today?

I heard it creamed Grenada.

Heading for Jamaica by Friday

- David

Ok since we've had the peeing in the ocean and fish have to do it logic I have a funny story for all of you.

A couple of years ago Mark and I did Dolphins in Depth at Epcot. There were two dolphins - Bob and Toby. I should have known I was in trouble when we were assigned to Bob (my FIL's name is Bob) :D

With Dolphins In Depth you don't actually swim with them, but you did interact with them including kneeling down and giving them a big hug. I was the last of our group of 4 to hug Bob. As soon as I gave him a hug the instructor started laughing. Seem Bob took that moment to do #2. Yes animals just love me!

HA! Dh would tell me "you scared the crap out of him!" ;)

Thank you, Frances!

What a miserable day here in Ohio. It's rained ALLLL day. And of course, this is the day Maggie decides that peeing every hour or two would be fun!

That's the response I expect to hear from Paul :D

Now think about divers. In a full wetsuit for an hour, under all that pressure. I'll let DS explain what happens.

Today was DS first unsupervised painting experience and I must say that I am impressed. No spilled bucket on the floor. Everything seems to be pretty clean. The paint is on the wall. Nice Job! Tomorrow is second and third coat.

Pictures? We are saving the pictures for our dive at Living Seas.

That reminds me of a story a friend told me when he was in Cozumel diving.

In the middle of his dive amongst many tropical fish he had to go. I mean he really had to go ( bad food or too much tecquilla or something )
You know what happens to most people in Mexico when their stomach rumble.

He dropped his drawers.......he said he caused and was part of a feeding frenzy with hundreds of fish surrounding him.

Now thats gross.
