Karen, I am glad to hear your Aunt and Uncle are on their way to recovery. So sorry to hear what they went through.
How is Maggie today???
Last report they were doing well. My uncle has had his surgery for his leg and is actually able to go (in a wheelchair) to visit my aunt in the ICU. She is still in a drug induced coma, but they will probably wean her off of drugs starting today to see where things stand. Apparently she's moving and responding more appropriately but they can't fully assess her until she's clear of the sedation. She's on a ventilator but they did that as a precaution (better to have a ventilator hooked up and ready than to have an emergency situation and things need to be done FAST!)
Maggie is....well...alright, I guess. I'm not to the point you are with Harmony. If Maggie ran away tomorrow I'd be sad for the kids, but happy that my life was back to normal. Maybe someday I'll get to where you are
