Linda

P.S. The kids this weekend said they have loved reading your monthly newsletters

:earseek:

Linda - we were watching all day Saturday as all the levels sold out. Amazing!

Someone has already started a cruise meets thread so come join us there too. I'll be juggling two threads just like many of you now! Linda - I think this means you have 3 right?

We found the cutest thing at Wal-Mart yesterday. It is a hanging snowman (they have a penquin and Santa too, but I thought the snowman was the cutest). He's about a foot tall, but folds flat for storage and travel. He's made of nylon with a large spring inside that give the body the shape. He's got a cute lime green scarf too! Under $5 so he was put in the cart and he'll come on the cruise with us!

Well that's all for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I'm off to read the boards and then off to work I go!

GREAT MONDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE HOLIDAY CRUISERS!!!

Good Night!

Stacey

and I would like to be the first to say:

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PAUL!!!! :cheer2: :cake: :bday: :mickeybar

Happy Birthday Paul.
Hope you have a good one.

Mary - it was a sad day in the Nascar community yesterday. They lost 4 members of the Hendrick family along with 6 other people on that plane. I am sure it is going to be difficult for the teams to complete the season.

I needed address labels and money cards for Christmas...they still have all the Halloween things out! How rude!

Stacey - this was too funny. Usually I am complaining because they start putting out Christmas stuff before Halloween is even over. But lately I find myself looking for the Christmas stuff and complaining because it's not out yet. :p I guess you just can't make me happy.:teeth:

Everyone have a great day!

Everyone have a great day!

You guys should come up here. Our stores are full of Christmas stuff. They've had stuff out since about the middle of September (just after they got rid of the school supply stuff). I hate that they have the stuff out so early. At least wait until after Halloween. We did start our Christmas shopping already though (we're planning to finish while on the cruise). We started that BEFORE Christmas last year.

I guess I need to go to Walmart this week. I've been directed to anyway, they have the good fruit cups in sugar free jello.

I tried Big Lots the other day for door signs, no luck. I've delegated this task to DH, think that will work? Actually, DD is the most creative person in this family, but she's also the busiest.

Vicki, you need to think of a story to tell us. You can divide your paragraphs into separate posts!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!!!!
:cheer2: :cake: :bday: :mickeybar

Back at work - another Monday closer to the cruise.... and another shift to pay for it.....

That's one reason it'll be fun to take these cruises....

More time....
I've got 4 going now, although one is still such an infant that nobody is around much yet...

Good Morning! Now I'll make it official:

:bday: :bday: :bday:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PAUL!!! :cake: :cake: :cake:

Vicki....such a good little wife! Was GaRry posting 11 times a day?

I have enough trouble keeping up with two cruise threads...never could I do more. I have been sorely neglecting the one I started!

I'm hoping I have the same amount of "steam" to get things done today as I did yesterday!
I am easily motivated when it's something fun....

LeiLani....glad you caught that! That's exactly what I meant. Usually, it seems that the Christmas stuff comes out in July.....

I may just have to go to WalMart and find the cute snowman. Who could resist, if he's wearing a lime green scarf? It's like he was meant to go on this cruise!
Besides, he'll fit right in with the rest of my decorations here at home.....not that I'm putting them out this year....
My favorites are Snowmen. They are everywhere you look when I decorate. I even got a new one this year....a figurine of a poor little "melting" snowman.

:( That is very sad about the Hendrick family....the drivers know the risk they take, but no one expects something like that.

Lynda...I am going to want to hear all about HAL....don't tell anyone, but we've been thinking of trying another line someday.....

Okay...guess I'll get myself started....I think I will wrap gifts first.

TTFN.....I'll be checking in to see if we have any funny "pick me up" jokes from Jenny!!

See ya,

Stacey

T.O.P. !!!

Sorry....when I realized how close it was, I couldn't stop myself!

I thought only the Fluff Queen was that rude!

Ok. Since Stacey asked for them... here are some to get the day started.

Her teenage son was having trouble mastering the fine points of balancing his new checking account. "The bank returned the check you wrote to the sporting goods store," she said.

"Oh good," he said, "Now I can use it to buy some stereo equipment!"

 We only wish it worked that way.

One liners about Marital Bliss (is there such a thing?? - only kidding).

Marital Bliss

Marriage is a matter of give and take, but so far I haven't been able to find anybody who'll take what I have to give.

I belong to Bridegrooms Anonymous. Whenever I feel like getting married, they send over a lady in a housecoat and hair curlers to burn my toast for me.

The most happy marriage I can imagine to myself would be the union of a deaf man to a blind woman.

A father called his local IRS office to ask if he could deduct the cost of his daughter's wedding as "a total loss."

I want a husband who is decent, God-fearing, well-educated, smart, sincere, respectful, treats me as an equal, has a great body, and has the same interests in life as me. Now I don't think that's too much to ask of a billionaire, do you?

Love thy neighbor, but make sure her husband is away first.

I had some words with my wife, and she had some paragraphs with me.

The wedding night should be like a good chicken meal, a little bit of breast, a little bit of leg . . . and a whole lot of stuffing!!!
