Another Friday. I agree with Mary that it's TGIF! Tomorrow is set painting day for DD's Christmas play, and then choir sings both services Sunday and I head off to the airport to fly to Texas. I haven't seen Herc around lately, but if you're lurking Herc, I'm going to pm you my cell phone number in case you want to get together while I'm in Dallas.

Tina, I hope you're enjoying your trip! I'm sure it's a great place to enjoy and relax!

Talked to the kids about excursions. Surprisingly, DD said she really wasn't interested in the horses, and DS said he was???? When did my horse crazy daughter disappear? Anyway, DD thought the Rain Forest Jungle Trail sounded good. At first glance, so did I. Looking again, I see that there is a total of 4 hours of bus time on that 6.5 to 7 hour excursion !!! I just saw the 45 minute part. Okay, back to the horse plan!! Or maybe the other waterfall trip. That's only 3 hours of transit time.

Anyone up for chat tonight? I should be there, and we can take over the room again!

Good Morning All,

Lisa you HAVE to try the green chili. It has to be onr of the best things ever.Green chili enchiladas, chili rellenos, and here's one...on the back of Foster Farms chickens are recipes. There is one for green chili chicken that is awesome. We eat it with rice and beans and tortillas. Oh yeah way low carb.
The girls are well so I'm off to work today after most of the week off. (sigh)

Lynda - Thanks for all the information on Cash. It is really interesting to see how well behaved and helpful service dogs are. Once we figure out a place to meet I'll let you know. A dessert place on Main Street sounds like a good place to consider.

Tina - hope you are enjoying your trip. Like Mary I know just the room you are talking about. (BWV is our home resort also). Sure wish I was there now.

And I would recommend that you follow my instructions in that link before tonight to make sure it works and bookmark where the 'old' chat is. If the new chat crashes again, so will the message boards!

Mary: Hope you have a better day --- each day is one day closer to the cruise!!!

Stacy: You are too organized --- would you like to come and organize me? I haven't even really thought about Christmas other than the cruise. I have to get Jordan's birthday over with first. And, of course, there are to be no presents this year --- the cruise is our Christmas. I wonder if the rest of our friends and family realize this --- really I'm planning on doing some shopping on the islands for everyone else so I'm not doing too much here.

I have to chaperone Teens Night Out tonight --- always interesting and enlighting (how do some of those girls get out of the house dressed that way --- must do it at friends houses, but someone has to drive them). Proud to say my girls haven't dressed questionably (yet)!!!

Poor Mildred, can't cut a break

Mildred, 93, was despondent over the recent death of her husband Earl, so she decided to kill herself and join him in the after life.

Thinking it would be best to get it over with quickly, she took out Earl's pistol and made the desicion to shoot herself in the heart since it had been broken so badly in the first place.

Not wanting to miss the vital organ and become a vegatable and a burden to someone, she called her doctor's office to learn the heart's exact location.

Since you're a woman, the doctor replied, your heart is just below your left breast. Why do you ask?

She hung up without answering. Later that night Mildred was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the knee.
