Lynda - there are several of us that have dinner reservations at LTT at or around 4:30 so we can make that a mini-meet if we want. Then later on we hope to have another meet to try to include everyone else. I will try to figure out a way to be noticeable so anyone eating at LTT can see who we are. I know I will be able to spot you and Cash.:p Does Cash get to eat dinner or does he just have to lay there(and be a good service dog) and smell all that wonderful food. He should get a treat for that. I know we can't play with him, but what kinds of treats could we bring for Cash?

Anyone have any suggestion on a meeting place and time?

Dear Lord, I pray for:
Wisdom, To understand a man
Love, To forgive him and
Patience, For his moods
Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength
I'll just beat him to death.

I KNEW I could count on you guys for a quick pick-me-up!!

Will have to tell my Marine Corps hubby that joke.

And I'm still laughing at the Sinko de Mayo!

We were in Belize and watched a boat sink early one morning. It was delivering potatoes and beer. You have never seen so many men with small boats come out of nowhere to rescue that beer!!!

True story....

There were no potatoes for dinner the rest of our stay.

Cool! Would have LOVED to go back the next day for the wreck dive!!

Lynda - I was trying to do a little research for you on the hotel issue for your repo cruise. I did a search on google just using pet friendly hotels and came up with serveral sites that listed hotels that allow dogs. I know they should allow Cash because he is a service dog, but I though this might help. Two of the sites are www.DogFriendly.com and http://www.1clickpethotels.com/california.htm

Some of the hotels listed a one time fee for having the dog stay there but I think if you explain that it is a service dog they might waive that. But there were also some hotels that had no fee. Hope this information helps.

Off to watch the baseball game. I might try to check in later.

Have a great evening.

Yummm! That sounds good. I bet you didn't know that it's hard to get "real" mexican food up here in the northeast.

I found that out when I worked a two-year contract in Boston....(went skiing at Sunapee) but the clam chowder here in Leander stinks....

That's my neck of the woods. The only problem with that is I don't like clam chowder (lobster is good though).

Jared and I actually enjoyed that. I guess what I'm wondering though, is....where do you find this stuff?????

:rotfl: :rotfl:

There was this gizmo made by Lego that let you make stop action films with a pc. There are a huge number of Lego movies out there. My favorite has to be the takeoff of 2001, it's among the ones on this site. http://www.spiteyourface.com/films.html be careful, some of the films on his site are not kid friendly.

Thanks, Mark...Jared loves anything Lego...but I'll make sure I "screen" the films first!!

Arrrr!

That makes top #8!

OK, Survivor's over, back to the boards. For a bit anyway.

Still slumming it with the dial up. Got our DSL modem today, Kevin installed it pronto, and it no worky. Seems that we aren't actually hooked up yet.

Well the pc in the family room is kaput  . Now I must share DM's. She has very limited vision and really enjoys playing card games on the larger screen. I would like to hold off getting a new one until we get back from the cruise but you guys are too much fun. Maybe get a laptop so I won't go through total withdrawal when we go to HH in Nov. Then I can get a docking station after the cruise. I am getting a plan together!

I sure hope we are NEVER part of this statistic!! That would not be a good thing.
