Happy Sunday all!
It's been chilly and windy here today. Had a weird storm yesterday afternoon - the kind where part of the sky was bright and sunny, the other half pouring rain. Then we got hail for about 5 minutes.......about the size of peas. It switched back to rain, then the sun came out again and we saw two full rainbows!
Made it through part of youngest DS's tee ball game today before he got sick. A stomach flu has been going around out here lately.
More computer problems yesterday.
May have to bite the bullet and switch providers. This is getting old. 
Just caught up on reading the posts and I'm sorry I didn't realize there were so many interested in Christmas trees, because I spoke to Shirley @ The Perfect Gift yesterday morning. She is able to get a limited number of the decorated, pre-lit artificial Teleflora tabletop trees. This year's is with Spode (the china folks). It's quite beautiful.........here's a link if you want to see what it looks like:

There's also a cute miniature Radio Flyer wagon she can get and do an arrangement in or fill it with fresh greens or plush toys (or probably most anything you wanted). She's a really nice lady, as so many have previously said.
Stacey - Sounds as if you're being crafty today! And doing your tip envelopes? Can you come out here and organize my life? Pleeeeease?? 
Gail - So glad you're getting to still cruise! (I also vote yea for the verandah.) Your NYC trip sounded wonderful -- I think I've heard of that diner before.......it's supposed to be great fun!
The Travel Channel is repeating their hour-long show on the Disney Cruise Line tonight! It's the same show from last year, but in case you've never seen it - it's on at 7 p.m. EST.
Off to do laundry. Have a nice night everyone!

All_Ears - I have talked to Shirley about a tree alreadly so if you get a group thing from her let me know, we would be interested.
Angie - brunch is set for 12/26(last sea day) at 10:30. I would just tell them you are with the big group and would like a table near the private room.
Stacey - I sure hope Jordan had a great time at Homecoming, and thanks but no thanks on the offer. I have more than I can handle.
disneylover4 & All_Ears - Mary and Diana are correct, DCL does not start sending out documents until 3-4 weeks before the cruise. And if you booked with a TA it will take longer, because DCL will send them to the TA and then they will forward them on to you.

I'm so glad to hear others aren't doing Christmas decorations at home either --- last year when I put mine away I was really happy to think I wouldn't have to get them out for this year and I'm one that really loves them, but last year I realized that the rest of the fam doesn't really care all that much (after I spent 4 hours doing the tree all by myself). Guess they like them when they're up, but they obviously don't care enough to get involved!!! So we will be enjoying Disney's decorations too!! Can't do a live tree in the room due to allergies.
Lisa -- Congrats on the packing!!! I thought I was ahead of the game (my family thinks I'm nuts) when I organized mine in the closet!!!
It's a beautiful fall day -- upper 60's, warm enough to water the yard.

I like the idea of getting the tip envelopes ready now. I think I also got a link to the CM cards to give for outstanding service or something like that. I will try to look it up and get them ready too. Since we travel- A LOT- can't really start packing yet, we need the suitcases still. I have made a list for MIL and MOM so they can start packing though.

I think I may do decorations at home too. This is our first year in our DREAM HOUSE and DH was not to sure about doing the cruise and missing the 1st christmas here. We usually do Christmas Eve with the in laws but they are going on the cruise with us so we are trying to decide if we should do it before we leave or after we come home.
I am soooo looking forward to a 20' tree in the great room, the icicle lights on the dormers, the huge decorated wreath on the foyer dormer, ect... If for nothing else than a great pic for next years Christmas cards!
Guess time will tell and if I can get DH's help with hanging lights and bringing the tree inside.

OOOOhhhhh I cannot wait. Every time I watch this show I get excited to be back on board. They even show the chocolate souffle' from Palo I know I will most definately gain ## while cruising this year.
Like some of you all that were unsuccessful dieting, I was good for a while but as the summer faded so did my will power. I don't think I have regained too much but I know I haven't lost any more. I am not really going to worry too much while cruising but I don't want to have to be rolled off either.
I think the cold weather is here to stay - it's getting down to 32 tonight. brrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Today was DW's birthday. Some of you may have seen my post a few weeks ago when I was looking for ideas on how to surprise our kids, DS10 and DD6, revealing that we were going on the cruise. Well, we did it today!
Here's what we did... since it was DW's birthday we stopped by Target and picked up a couple of nice new strands of Christmas lights for the veranda. We wrapped them up as an extra birthday present with a copy of WDWLVR and MarkRG's cruise map and itinerary (thanks Mary and Mark) taped on the outside of one box. We also knew the Travel Channel was showing the cruise special at 7pm so we timed the opening of DW's gifts for just before the start of the show. We saved the lights to be opened last and asked DD6 and DS10 to help mom open her last present! You can imagine their excitment because they knew every gift we had wrapped for mom except this one. Well, when they say the contents were Christmas lights there were puzzled. Why did we get mom Christmas lights for her BD they asked??? We had them turn the box over and taped to the back was the 10 day cruise map page from Mary and Mark's site with a note saying "Happy Birthday, Everyone! And Merry Christmas too!". At the bottom of the picture we put a caption saying "We are going on the Disney Christmas Cruise". Well, they were stunned!!! We then turned on the TV and watched the Disney Cruise special and talked about some of the details during the commericals. Wow, what an evening of excitment! It was sooo great to have them share in our excitment and now it seems sooo real. Only about 60 days to go before we all set sail!!!!

Well, I got my tip envelopes and my thank you cards done. I have the kid's pictures printed out for the Christmas cards....think I'll go do a rough draft of my "annual stupid card letter"....I wonder if I could just pull out last year's and change the date?
What a gorgeous day it was today. Cooler (80) and cloudy..no rain though, darn it.
We ended up helping do a few things at our friend's house that's under construction...I should have known better than to take my two guys out there. The electrician was there, finishing the major wiring, and I had to untangle this huge roll of wiring. It was all wrapped around itself like a twisted Slinky. They were feeding it from the garage to the laundry room...and I managed to get it all undone. I love a challenge.
Hope everyone had a really great weekend. I wish I had caught the DCL show!
