Charlotte, we've actually mowed twice already! We have an acre, and if we don't stay on top of it, it gets UGLY! DH mowed on Good Friday, and I mowed this Saturday. I'm guessing that he just did the front yard, because the back yard was considerably longer than normal!

We're getting close to mowing time but not quite yet. We do have lots of tulips and daffodils blooming in the front of the house. We've had some beautiful days and it is so nice to have winter behind us and Spring/Summer ahead.

Good Evening Everyone!

Just back from Orlando... we are now the proud owners of a townhouse only 1/4 mile from the back door (CM entrance) to the Magic Kingdom!!! We were able to watch Wishes from our back courtyard, bedroom and master bath tub!! (whooooeeeee)
We are SOOOOOO excited!! This is a dream come true for me! Now the doggies don't have to go to the kennel every time we go to WDW.

Looks like a lot of the vacationers are back! Can't wait to read your trip reports! Leilani that Cat 1 sounds fabulous! I can't even imagine!!

Stingfancb: WELCOME! I'm also in so. fla. Coral Springs. We might have to have a pre-cruise meet sometime! We might also be at WDW May 14-16. Our anniversary is May 14.

OhioMinnie & Gail... your friends are in our thoughts and prayers.

Lynda... so glad to hear Cash is doing better. Hope the others are doing okay too. Ours had their first experience with stairs at the new townhouse... what a hoot... but I'm afraid they'll hurt themselves, esp our older one. so we got a baby gate!

Would that be the townhouses on R Rd as you turn right coming out of the MK entrance? If so I have friends that are building there. They should be in next month. We drove thru there last week before we watched Wishes from the PC entrance.

Good Morning everyone. Happy Tuesday.
Our Computer AGAIN is infected. This time with <A TITLE="Click for more information about spyware" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://messagebroadcaster.net/bannerfarm/link/sw/sw.htm">Spyware</A> or and Aware. I installed a program last night but it is not working to well. I have a close friend in the computer business coming over late this afternoon. The computer is so so slow, it freezes up and I have strange pop up's all over. The pop up's are taking over. I also had a search tool bar show up I can not get rid of. I have no idea how we got this. We are so careful. We have an antivirus already on the computer but I found out it does not protect this problem! DH put a new screensaver on the computer and we have had problems since that installation. It is driving me crazy.

We found out yesterday that DD has C. diff with Colitis. (I think I spelled that wrong). They tell me that it could be from medication she was on. I am concerned because the problems started before the meds. DD has not been on a lot of meds this year. This has been the best year for her not being so sick. They put her on medication for 10 days to see if this clears up. If not she goes on it another 10 days. If there is still a problem then she would have to be scoped. She has had tummy aches and runs to the bathroom at times for almost 2 months. I really hope it is from being medicated. I am very concerned as we lost a first cousin at 48 from Chrones. MY Father has Colitis and polips, my aunt passed from Colon Cancer and I have IBS since my early 30's which I feel at that time was brought on by stress. DD also has pretty bad allgeries and is suffering right now.I just put her back on singular yesterday but I need to call the doctor to make sure this won't be a problem trying to cure the C. diff.
I also have terrible allgeries. I woke up this morning with hives and my lip all swollen. I am going to see the allgerist this morning. When it rains it pours. Things could be worse. I just feel so bad for DD beacuse she is only 7 and she has been miserable. Originally her physicans told me not to worry that this could be from anexity that DD was having. I knew it was more than that. (Virgil , I was going to PM you about this but I did not want to bother you with questions as you have your hands full with the ED)

Sorry to burden you with all with this. I just needed to talk.

Gail - so sorry to hear all you and your daughter are going through. You are right - when it rains it pours. Here's hoping it is just a little Spring Shower and days are ahead. I've said a prayer for you both. I've sent you a pm.

Lynda - Happy Belated Birthday - hope it was a good one.

Well got to get running this morning. Off to the hospital for a mammogram (fun, fun, fun).

Oh, Gail. You are in my prayers. I'll pray specifically for DD, but also for you. I know how hard this is. Feel free to email me any time you need to vent. I can certainly understand. My mom had diverticulitus this September, and I know it was very painful. I hope that it's a one-time thing and not part of a larger issue.

We're still holding with good weather, but it's supposed to get a bit colder the rest of the week. DS has his first formal Boy Scout camp out this weekend, so I hope that the rain isn't a downpour. Camping in drizzles isn't fun, but camping in pouring rain is MISERABLE!

Here's hoping for a Happy Tuesday for all!

Beautiful day on the east coast - wish it would stay like this year 'round.

They FINALLY started to frame our house yesterday. I don't think it will be finished in 8 weeks. Especially since it's supposed to rain the next 3 days. Oh well, we will wait and see.

All the doggies are well now except for Carrie's knee...time will take care of that...

Gail, sorry about your ailing kiddo...some conditions are really the pits! I know Cash would send her a sympathy e-mail...He gets tummy problems when he changes food and drinking water...Really makes him unhappy to have things like that out of control...

Gail - so sorry to hear about DD's problems. Here's a little **PD** and hope she feels better soon. You too.

It is raining here today and since we have a lot of construction going on in our neighborhood, that means mud, mud, mud, for the next couple of days. YUCK!!!

Stacey - our dates are set for Vegas this summer. We will be there from June 26th to July 12th. So if you decide to plan a trip up during that time let me know, I would love to meet you. If DH does not join me for one of the weeks I might try to get away for a few days to the Hyatt at Lake Las Vegas. Anyone else going to be in Vegas during this time?

Matt - the girls and I will be in Destin, FL, July 24th-31st so if your family does buy the condo in FL and you guys are going to be around during that time let me know. It would be great to meet your family also. Hopefully, we will have told the girls by then.

Leslie - congrats on the new condo, it sounds great.

Gail - Sorry to hear about DD......and you, too! It's so hard when our children are sick......prayers going your way. I'm allergic to corn of all things, so I know hives. Not fun. Hang in there! How's the remodeling coming?

Lisa - I mowed yesterday before our nearby farm store picked up our mower for blade sharpening, oil change, etc. Figured I'd get one good mow in first. Man, was it hot! Got up to 94 yesterday - much cooler today and of course, rain is coming. Hope your DS's Boy Scout weekend isn't too soggy! Camping in rain - not my cup of tea.

LeiLani - Can't wait to read your trip reports. And DD's clothing episode??

Lynda - Happy belated Birthday! What's the mechanical/digital watch story? You're getting close to your vacation, aren't you? Hope you have a great time!

Mary - For your newsletter story on what we're doing to get ready for the Christmas cruise: I'm buying/putting away little Disney-related stocking stuffer gifts for the DS's......pins, MM cards, watches, etc.

HersheyParkers-in-September - Since we were rained out on Easter, we may take the DS's this Sunday (they're having a special one-day preview before full opening the following weekend). Anyone want brochures/park layout maps?

Movie fans - Looks like a cute one starting Friday - "13 Going on 30" with Jennifer Garner (Alias). Saw the preview this past weekend at DS's birthday-movie party........it looks fun! Sort of a teenage girl's "Big". Has also been getting rave reviews by the critics - they're calling Garner the "next Julia Roberts".

Good evening everyone. Thank you for all your concerns and good wishes for our DD. We are going to hear back tomorrow from the Gastro doctor and pediatrician as to a plan for DD.

What a beautiful day in NY. I hope the smae for tomorrow before the rain sets in.

If it does rain DH will be at our house as he has al ot of outside work that can not be completed in the rain.

Leilani, I am so looking forward to reading your trip report.

Afff, Thanks for the info for the computer fix. Our friend can not make it to us until Thursday or Friday to clean up the problem. I am going to try waht you suggested and still let him come when he gets a chance. The computer is so so slow and freezes up! The pop up's are driving me nuts!!!

Debs Hill, I received your pictures of Jake and the two of you on the DC. The pictures are awesome. JAKE IS SO HANDSOME! Thank You so much for sending them. Do you want me to scan them and forward them to Mary for the Picture Gallery? Ethan went crazy when he saw Jake. He put the picture of Jake with Mickey in his room. He says" my buddy Jake and I are going on the DC together". It is so cute!!!

jilljill & virgil - had a great time at dinner with all of you, Vanessa now agrees that all will not be lost if she doesn't meet anyone "her age" She had a great time with your DDs. Barb, hope your DH didn't mind the gentle teasing about the hair color - I really thought it awesome!!
Disney never fails to amaze me or am I just easily amazed?

Stacey & Paul hope you both have a great trip.

Leilani - glad you all had a good trip and are safely returned.
If DD thought the Disney suite was small just wait until she spends 10 days in a cat 3. (that is if you aren't able to upgradeto a 2 or the Walt suite again)

Vicki, DH doesn't mind the teasing at all. In fact it was HIS idea to get his haircut on Main Street. He figured that I would ask for the hair color, he just didn't know which color.

Had some scary storms in the area last night. Luckily they weren't close to us, but south of here got hit really bad with tornados that left 4 dead and 6 more still missing. Makes you really appreciate each day as a normal day can turn deadly so quickly.
