I had checked out the Ron Jon on line, looks pretty cool. We had also thought of Vero Beach, now since we are DVC members - but we plan on using SSR after the cruise and staying the 28th - Jan 3rd. Make it a whole holiday.

So I will check out the Raddison and see if there are still rooms left!

Looking forward to meeting everyone and I will stop by these boards more often!

Welcome Stingfancb!!! I really wanted to do the vow renewal on this cruise, but I guess you and a few others beat me to it, they were all booked up! My DD was married on Castaway Cay last September, and if they do as nice a job on the vow renewal (and I sure they will) as they did on the wedding, it will be unbelievably marvelous! How wonderful for you!!!!

Gail......Congrats on your "anniversary"! Have fun!!

thanks for making us feel so welcomed - we live in Royal Palm Beach which is a suburb of West Palm Beach - our next Disney trip is the w'end of May 15 for Star Wars Weekend.

Stacey and Paul, I just talked to my parents a few minutes ago and got the latest weather report from Vegas and it doesn't look good. They said the tumbleweeds are really tumbling everywhere (meaning very windy), it's really raining and 64°.
Sorry to have to give you that report.

Wow, I'm on DD's laptop at the hotel, and I didn't have to log in. Must still be logged in from our trip last August!

Got adjoining rooms at a Sheraton here with an indoor pool. DD and 5 friends are next door, not knowing that I can hear every word they say. It's her birthday party, they've already been swimming. Amazing what 13 yo girls know these days. It just occurred to me that I should do this every year, I'll have a really good idea of what she's up to. Just realized that one girl I thought was really nice has a potty mouth.

Congrats on your DVC purchase, Therese! You'll love it in your new "home"!

Hi Guys!

Well, I'm packed and ready to go. We head for the airport at about 8:00 a.m. I'm trying to figure out what I was thinking making reservations that early! Guess I thought it would give us more time to play.

Diana....funny how those kids think us "old" folks are deaf! I've had the same thing happen a few times....have had to have major discussions with Jordan about her friends' language. I learned from Megan (and from when I was a teen) that you can't make them quit seeing the kids you don't like....I remind her that their behavior is bad....and so far, we've been lucky, the two worst ones drifted off and Jordan has some new friends who are much better.

Barb....we had a really really really (really!) windy day today. It was cooler than usual, but they (the all-knowing weather people ) said it should be much nicer for the next few days. Still cooler than usual, but nice. I'm going to check the weather online in a few. I may need to re-pack.
We like it cooler....it gets hot soon enough. But for Paul, I can understand wanting the sunshine.
Blue hair & Mickey glitter?????? I seriously doubt I could talk mine into that! But, he's famous for his silly hats at our ball games, so maybe he would! Thank you, by the way...for the great favor! Looking forward to it.

Stacey, have a great trip and win lots of money. My parents are heading to Tuscon tomorrow for a few days - they are starting their journey east.
It wasn't that hard to get DH to get the blue hair and sparkles. He wanted to get his hair cut on Main St. and knew what it involved. Last time he didn't get colored get, but this time I told the CM that's what he was to get. It was a great conversation starter. But when you're at the 'World' it can't be bad. It looked a lot better than some of the people we saw walking around the parks. I wish they would start going back to the days of the dress code - some people don't look in the mirror before they leave their room .

G'night all, I'm off to bed to get much needed rest .

Hello all.... Finally back home - and back at work.....

Had a great trip - the weather didn't cooperate - but it was still a Disney Cruise.

Stacey - we had a Cat. 3 again - but we investigated the Cat. 4 as we were disembarking.... It'll be interesting - will definitely take a 3 if we can get it.... especially for the 2 showers....Good Luck in LV - hope you have a better run than I did at Atlantis.

Vicki, garRy, and Barb - definitely enjoyed meeting your families. Sorry again for being an hour late.... Disney Transportation was at it's worst - took us almost 1 1/2 hours to get from the Beach Club to the Wilderness Lodge. Absolutely loved Whispering Canyon.... Ketchup anyone? The pictures turned out great - I'll send them out once I get a chance.

Noticed another 10 Day Cruiser over on the main board - invited them to the thread - but they have yet to show up.

I hope to post a Cruise Report soon - just have to get the May schedule completed - and finish cleaning for the DW.

Lauren was so excited when she found out about the 10 Day - she started to cry.... She was just beaming - and loved it that I had already made a door magnet announcing the 10 Day cruise....
