We did have a cat. 4 one year and I didn't really like being up on deck 8.

I'm hoping that once the 60 day limit rolls around - that a few of the higher price cabins will come to their senses and back out....

I thought so too... I know of at least one Cat. 3 taken by a DISer.... but hasn't been on this thread in awhile....

I'll hold out hope until the ship sails....

Maybe we can just stage a raid - take over the Walt or Roy Suite!

Good Morning Everyone!!

I, too have been spoiled. We have only been in a Cat 2....this time we're in a 4. Waitlisted for anything higher....but I actually gave up hope of that a long time ago.
I think Virgil may be right, once push comes to shove, we may stand a chance! Our cruise is paid for, so adding on to it at the last minute won't be a total thrill, but it would be worth it.
If Disney does build another ship, I would hope they'd add more of the larger cabins. We didn't book two adjoining because it would have been more expensive than a Cat 3.
I guess I'll still keep my fingers crossed!
And, yes, I think we did scare away the Cat 1 person. If that person is reading these....I'm sorry...we're actually really very nice, normal people!
Heading out to take DS to school. At least I don't have to work today. Think I'll just come home and do nothing till it's time to leave.

Gail-I hit the User CP box at the top of the page and it tells you who last posted and what number you are on. I learned it from someone else here on the board (probably a 100 pages ago).

Stacey-glad I wasn't the only one who didn't know what SPH and SPR were. Sometimes I sit here and rack my brain on what some of them mean.

Saw on the Today Show this morning that it was snowing in Central Park. They were suppose to get 4-6 inches I guess. It was beautiful, but I am glad it is there and not here! Suppose to be 70 again today and by Sunday we may hit and all time record high of 73 for that date. What a way to go into spring!

Okay, I'm going to get work done.

Good Morning Lynda & Cash!

I had a little trouble getting on just now.

DH & I had thought about doing the Romance Package, after we couldn't do the vow renewal...but decided it wasn't worth the extra $$. The vow renewal I would've sprung for, since it would have been my first real wedding...but I don't really need a basket of goodies, and can go to the spa....never have before, but this time we have more sea days...so maybe.
Besides, we are stuffed into a Cat 4 with 2 kids and nothing but a curtain....how much "romance" can there possibly be?? I knew I should have gotten a Navigator's verandah!!

Throwing some last minute stuff in my bag (never can have too much STUFF)

Now that's odd...She contacted me about a vacancy in a 3 just after I got upgraded to a verandah. At the time she said you had mentioned wanting a 3 and thought you might take it if I didn't still need the verandah for Cash....

Generally for us, it's just the DH, me and the DD (12) and we get the category 5 stateroom.

However, with 13 of us, and since I'm paying, the grown kids are lucky to get inside staterooms! If it was just us, we definitely would have gotten a better stateroom. Tried to get the 2 Category 2 staterooms (since they would fit 14 total), but of course, they were long gone. Tried to book a number of different ways, but with the odd number (13), I ended up having to get 4 staterooms and figured to save my sanity I wanted to be separated at least at night from kids/grandkids!

Now, don't look at me with that funny twinkle, Folks, but I thought I'd sign up for it for no better reason that the advance sign-up for Palo and other activities that need you to participate in the reservation scramble. I'm really not looking forward to that. Although my scooter can have that "cow catcher" effect on people, it's not nice to make road kill out of ones fellow passengers just to get in line for a preferred spot on the massage list....

And I have been having no end of trouble trying to access, post, edit, or anything else on this thread...Is there a maximum that we're near to exceeding somewhere?

There are - unfortunately - many on the waitlists....

I'm sorry...I couldn't help but think how much Cash would enjoy the Couples Massage!!!!

I called after Leilani had posted that, too.....but as far as a list goes....I'm in the boiler room.
I'll just have to sit in my 2 bedroom suite tonight, close my eyes and pretend!

If they shut us down for too many posts, we'll just have to start over again. We could put little numbers at the top of our posts to keep track of where we are/were.

Today is the slowest day in history. I am sooo ready to get on that plane.
I usually leave right after lunch, but this time am waiting for the others to get off work.
Last night I was kind of bummed.....birthdays aren't very much fun once you hit 29 like me. And after the switching around of plane tickets and all (with the one friend not being able to go)....I wasn't even looking forward to the trip.
Well....now I am ready!! Come on clock.....tick tock tick tock!!

I tried this and it didn't work. Then I realized it was because I hadn't subscribed to the thread. So if you subscribe to the tread Linda's way works great.
