So, what does anyone think about whether or not we'd make it to an 11:00 flight?

YES depends on your checking in???????
leave the ship early 0730 of so plenty of time. JUST checking in at the airport, as you see 0730 or 0800 still gives you 3 hours, drive time mostly 1 hour????? go for it. I do really think there is NO time problem. just tell the limo ???? that your flight leaves and ?????

wave to me as you leave the ship. I LEARNED I leave the ship almost LAST. NO crowds. much better.

well I think I did my share of posting today, well it would have been more but I did have A lot of work today, so videos shouild be in the snail mail in the morning , once you get it do what ever you want bBUT NEVER SEND IT BACK TOO ME just remember I do know what ship your on

his family was great. also joeandjoanne was a plast old cmatt well he got seesick. buzz then scottH many more they mad the cruise. GREAT you all will see take a nut doc or 2 and then a plus then the type people and you want too go CRAZY VERY happily.

Happy Monday evening everyone.
I should think about changing our flight. We currently have one that leaves at 1:55pm but I think Delta has one that leaves at 11:30am. I do not feel like hanging at the airport anylonger than we have too.

#4000 by Easter sounds good to me.

I would love to see your video GaRry. When and if it gets passed around count us in.

I really think I have it straight on the Port/Starboard stuff that you mentioned. I keep it straight this way - when the ship leaves I better be on the inside looking out and not on the outside looking in

If you are interested in this cruise (10 day Christmas), you should check availability right away. According to the cruise sales cm on our Feb 7 Magic cruise, it was almost sold out. Good luck!

Barb - thanks for that insight on the cruise being close to selling out. I did check pricing not too long ago and the price for our cabin (for the two of us) went up over $1000 from when we booked.

He and Scottie, and Annae and I seem to be organizing a few things and it's turning into a fun group... Do you suppose he would settle for a plain old trip to the Bahamas after your circus cruise?

Hi all
I splurged on an annual pass this year and then started planning some trips to WDW to make it worthwhile. Now that I've got trips planned almost up to the drop dead renewal/expiration date I'm trying to figure out how I should go about extending this vacation madness and still save $$$ on the park fees...Any suggestions on timing? Are there any tricky rules for renewal?

Of course, I could just keep cruisin'......and forget the parks....

Can anyone tell me if there is a hard surface trail or road that goes to the different parts of Castaway Cay? I'd like to be able to use my electric scooter but not on sand...(Hmmm, wonder why?) and I don't walk too well on sand...What's the terrain like?

Also, I've got this cute little cart thingie that I tow behind the scooter...great for beach towel, snorkel equipment, etc...I'd really like to be able to use the scooter and avoid a BUNCH of hassle...Of course, I could always bring Cash's little fold-up training cart....Poor baby...Work, work, work...

Yes, there is a sidewalk from the ship to all points on Castaway Cay. Just not directly into the water!!
They have those sand chairs (like a wheel chair) but unfortunately they're not motorized. You'd have to talk some cute CM into pushing you around. I know you can find one really nice looking Aussie fellow down by the Banana Boats.

The East Coast crowd must be in bed already. It is pretty late there.

I'm heading in myself pretty soon. But we did have a goal to meet.

GaRry got me more corn-fused than ever with the port talk. All I know is that I like being on the side that's not the port but looks at the port so that you can see the CM's at the port when you leave the port.

WVMD....are you working tonight, or did they let you out for once?

On both of our cruises, we saw the dolphins that hang out around the port.
When we were in Curacao, there was a family (pod?) that would swim past our condo every night. We only saw dolphins once in Bonaire this past November. My friend and I both have this thing for dolphins.
That's one of the reasons that I like staying at the Mirage in Las Vegas...I can go out and see the dolphins. It's so peaceful back there late in the afternoon.
I bought an interesting dolphin ring at the Mirage. It's basically a diamond solitaire, but it has a dolphin that rotates around the diamond when you move your hand. They're made by Teufel. They have others, but mine was the only one with the dolphin.

You should have seen my Molly-girl when I went to pick her up from the doggie resort today!
I heard her before I saw her because she "talks" in an excited, squeeky little way. She almost for got her manners & jumped all over me. Then she walked me to the car.
Jay likes to pretend that he doesn't like animals unless they are doing a job...I'm sure Cash will be relieved ....but he's the one that cats seem to like to climb in to his lap, and dogs run straight to him.
Tonight when he (Jay) got home, I heard him outside asking Molly where she stayed and if she'd had a good time.
He can't fool me, the old softie.

GaRry....as far as the question of getting to the airport early.... I know what you're saying. I hate the idea of getting off the ship early & having to rush. I still can't decide what to do. A free flight is sooo tempting, what with how much all the rest of this is costing. Our flights from here are really expensive.
And, on our first cruise, they basically DID throw us out. We & our dinner partners (now good friends) were in the lobby exchanging addresses & all, and the CM's told us to leave!

In September, we took our time, and were almost the last ones off again. We had a van waiting...he was beginning to think he'd missed us or we fell over board....
So much nicer than rushing out with a herd.

We are back from Mississippi. It was better then I thought. Its a lot different then CA but it will be nice. We are going to have a nice custom house on 3 acres on the lake. It is in a cool area so it should be fun. Just wanted to let you know were back.

I'm finally off tonight and tomorrow... work day shift on Wed/Thurs. and then off Fri/Sat.... I hate these schedules.... I wonder who does them.... oh wait - that would be me.....

Hope that everyone has a good day on Tuesday =- won't be back until late.... Have to travel up to the Northern panhandle - (Weirton) for a funeral...... My former mother in law died on Sunday - my 2 eldest kids Jason (21 - in from England) and Kristin (18 - she's the one going cruising) want me come up... so - what's 8 hours up and back.........
